This was a spontaneous decision and definitely took a toll on our stomachs and wallets. For the first leg of this burger tour special, we visit Hangry Burger. The menu had a variety of nine signature burgers, plus the option to build and customize your own burger. But I opted for one of the signatures. The Jamaican Me Hangry is a 100% beef patty burger with double smoke bacon, layered with a house slaw, tomato, jalapeño, house jerk rub, and homemade jerk sauce.

We ordered Hangry Burger thru Uber Eats last night and we were very pleased with our choice. Our meal was couriered via bike and was still warm when it arrived. I ordered the Feelin' Blue ($9) which came with "a 100% beef patty, blue cheese, sautéed portobello mushrooms, and crispy shoestring onions." I added double smoked bacon for an extra buck. I find blue cheese burgers can be with hit or miss and this version was a big hit! The blue cheese crumble is a must (vs blue cheese sauce) and this burger delivered on that front. The taste of the mushrooms and bacon went well with the powerful cheese and complimented a very tasty patty. The fries and gravy were great too. Just as I like them - chip truck style! My gf ordered the Meltdown ($9) which is described as "a 100% beef patty, sautéed portobello mushrooms, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy shoestring onions, roasted garlic sauce, and Hangry sauce." I was able to negotiate a bite and this was also a taste-bud pleaser! The sauces on this burger were verrrrry tasty and went well with the rest of the creation. A very satisfying meal.

I visited today for lunch with a coworker, and it was an absolutely AMAZING burger and an all around great experience!!
Food: I ordered the Meltdown with fries and a diet Pepsi. The burger was FANTASTIC! Great sauce, Melty swiss cheese, well cooked burger, soft bun, juicy mushrooms and crispy onions! So good!!!!! The fries were the greasy and soft kind, which some people hate but that's my fave type of fry, kinda like swiss chalet, so they were AWESOME!
Price: Actually, I didn't pay. It was a nice treat :) But we got two burger combos that worked out to $30ish dollars. Pricey for a burger combo until you remember that a Big Mac combo is up over $10 nowadays, so $15 for a MUCH better burger and a good portion of fries is actually great :)
Aervice: EXTREMELY friendly!! Fantastic service as we were greeted promptly and with smiles, our food was ready quickly, they boxed up my leftovers with no hesitation, and they were all around pleasant and enjoyable for our stay. The best service I have ever had at a non-sit-down restaurant in a long time!
Summary: A must try!! Incredible burgers, great portion of delicious fries, and fantastic service! What more could you ask for? Definitely recommended!!
