Yellow Cup Cafe customer service is always great, prices are reasonable, the wifi always works well, the food is aesthetically pleasing and easy to take pictures of (oh and it actually tastes fantastic as well) the ambience and vibe is awesome! 100% recommend
Love this little cafe! I had the Mexican crepe w/ Béchamel sauce. Soooooo good. Customer service was great as well! Will continue to come back again and again. Well done!
Cappuccinos are always delicious and so are the waffles with fresh fruit and ice cream -it's always a pleasure to deal with friendly staff 🌻
My favorite Breakfast place in all of the GTA because the food is great!
Food was great. We all had different crepes. Order was done quickly and food delivered with a smile.
Nice place and delicious food.... we really love it
Little bit crowded but love the atmosphere and the foods awsome have traveled to toronto more than once which is 80miles for us just to do breakfast at yellow cup.
Great food, great atmosphere, hard to find in today's busy world.
Always a pleasure. Always consistent and professional service. Needs for improvement. Larger washrooms and an extension for 20-25 people. 5-6 more tables are desperately needed.
Absolutely exceptional place. Love the vibe, the food and so much more
Small place. Great coffee. Tbe food isn't bad it's fresh enough but not what you would call inspired. I had an egg on a bagel. It was fine. Service is ok. It can get busy in the morning....they aren't what you you would call friendly.
This place is super cramped and busy! Service wasn’t great and we had to followup on a few things to receive them. The food was good and didn’t disappoint. We ordered the strawberry and nutella crepe, turkey and mushroom crepe, the grilled turkey brie sandwich and rocky road cappuccinos. Everything was tasty and fresh, the crepes were chewy and delicious. Nice large portions and also plenty of turkey and avocado in the brie sandwich. Would recommend this place for breakfast/brunch.
Yellow cup cafe is an adorable little coffee house that is situated in a quiet strip plaza. I love the atmosphere. Filled with sunshine as the cafe is heavily decorated with yellow decorative peices. The coffee is superb! What else can I ask for?🤔
You will be able to find a variety of specialty drinks and baked goods at Yellow cup cafe. I was very impressed with the selection of coffees they had. There were about 8 kinds that day I visited. What I really liked was there a time stamp on each pot. So, for a coffee lover like myself can pick the freshest pot to enjoy!☕🍵🤗
I really enjoyed the space in Yellow cup cafe. It's very cute and inviting. I want to come back next time for their brunch items. The items offered look appealing and definitely on my radar next time I visit this cute cafe!😊
Really well designed shop, with a huge lot for parking and accessible patio, a nice place to stop to read the paper with a coffee.
I have visited about four times now in groups of 3 or 4 for dessert after dinner. We usually sit around for an hour lounging about and enjoying the different types of coffee. At times the spot gets pretty busy causing delays in service, but I've always had kind servers. I am fond of their selection in desserts and do return whenever I am in the area.
Came here for breakfast with a friend. Service was a little confusing since people were lining up to pay separately and you could hardly see the "order here" sign. Anyhow, their eggs benedict was so good... love the hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were excellent and seasoned well. I would've liked more of it though. It's also a cute place and quite bright. I would come back to eat in the patio once the weather is warmer. Dreaming about those potatoes!!
Went here for lunch with my grandmother. Cute little restaurant, food was fresh and tasted great. Took few minutes to figure out how the system works and quite a bit of time to find a table. It was very crowded so would probably try to avoid 'meal times' in future and have either a late or early lunch instead. Would go back though.
One of my favourite desert places in the west end. A nice and cozy cafe that serves really great crepes and waffles. The ice cream selection they have is very unique and delicious.
The Yellow Cup Cafe is a great brunch place. Had brunch on the patio. The place was really busy when I got there. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and you sit and wait for your food. The breakfast has a great value for the price you pay. I got eggs and bacon with a bagel and coffee and a side of potatoes. The potatoes are seasoned nicely and taste really good. They're not really crispy but they're still yummy. The coffee is their own house blend. Overall a good experience.
No REAL maple syrup for pancakes!! Seriously!? They have nice pancakes but when you use Aunt gemima corn syrup it really spoils it!!! Come on we are the top maple syrup producer in the world! Their latte is just ok
They have the BEST cream cheese! All home made! Good coffee flavours like kahlua & french toast. A little small & can get crowded quickly.
It's such a cute little cafe. I love the sandwich I ordered. It was delicious. Te service was good, took our order immediately. I just wish the space was bigger.
Wonderful atmosphere friendly staff and service. The Belgian chocolate coffee is amazing and the avocado turkey wrap. They have a huge selection so I just ordered something familiar to me. I wish there were more places like this for ppl tired of the Tim hortons and Starbucks scene. Family friendly good for the young old and working ppl.
Delicious. I love their strawberry and nutella crepe as well as their veggie sandwiches and green tea latte. Service was a bit slow but it was a little busy. Servers are nice and polite. Overall I recommend this place if you're craving for some good ol' crepes or sandwiches .
The best coffee and waffles I have ever had!
A pleasant cafe/lunch place. Yellow Cafe is one of our favourite places to grab a light meal. It's a small independent cafe. They have sandwiches, homemade soups, crepes and on Fridays, periogies (although the perogies tend to sell out.) I love their melted brie sandwich, turkey/cranbery wrap, homemade soups and perogies.
The food is quite good and freshly prepared. My only criticism is the food is perhaps a bit expensive for this type of food.
The variety and taste is amazingly consistant ... Great lunch
Happenstance. I happened upon this place earlier this year. I used to live in Toronto but now that I live in rural Ontario, I act like a visitor in my birth city.
I was searching for something new on urbanspoon when this restaurant popped up. How awesome.
The decor is quite different; I like it. I had the apple cinnamon crepe and absolutely loved it. Love the coffee too. Too bad they don't let you have free refills.
AMAZING. I've been visiting this cafe ever since it opened about 10 years ago, and I absolutely adore it. Its very cozy, the staff are great and the food is superb! They have plenty of options so you're set for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or desert..even a small snack. I've had it all and I bring all of my clients. Sunday mornings I usually stop by with my husband...you must come in early to get a table because this place is off the hook. I highly recommend you pay a visit..and try the smoke salmon crepe (its my favorite!)
Awesome!!! Order the chicken crepe, one of my favorite things ever!!
Something different. Went there and tried their crepes and cakes and coffee..
superb.
my only negative comment is the service though, there's one server that seemed to be doesn't enjoy what she's doing.. i even helped them cleared the used plates and she didn't even thank me..
overall, i like the place and will go back there..
sorry to say this...if that F**ng server has the same attitude, i will write a letter and let them know as she's a disappointment into that cafe house..
Don't know if I want to share this space. This my fave place to drop in for a cuppa, sandwich or crepe with a friend. The service is great, the food fantastic and the space cheerful, unpretentious and vibrant. Love the chicken sandwich with the roasted red pepper and brie. I didn't expect much the first time, but the breast was a good size, there were lots of peppers and the brie was dripping down my fingers. Their crepes and cheese perogies are great, but I don't like the meat (canned tuna) ones.
I am so pleased to find such a charming little place to eat when I come to town to shop.
A Hidden Secret Well Worth Visiting. I would have never discovered this cafe or visited it if my friend hadn't told me about it. Since she has, I have been a regular visitor here. It's nestled in a small plaza across the street from Cloverdale mall. The food here is absolutely amazing. Granted, the decor isn't anything special and it's nothing upscale - think something along the lines of Starbucks interior. It's a very casual cafe but serves many different combinations of crepes, waffles and sandwiches. The crepes and waffles are the specialty here. They serve both dinner and dessert crepes or waffles (you get to choose whether you want the topping on a crepe or waffle). They always give huge platters of food and it's always delicious.
I highly recommend this place. Desserts and dinner dishes range from $7.99 to the highest being $12.99. Starbucks lovers can also get Tazo tea here. They serve coffee as well as a number of specialty drinks (ex. tiramisu latte, snickers latte and so on) and they serve breakfast here as well. My personal recommendations are the chicken crepe combination, and as for the desserts I highly recommend getting a slice of one of the many cakes they have there or getting a waffle (or crepe) with fruit or the Polish style crepe.
I highly recommend this place!!
The must-try: Belgian Waffle with Fruit
I have a story that speaks to the quality of character of the staff/owners at Yellow Cup Cafe.
I didn't know how to thank them for what they have done, but I thought sharing the story would be the beginning of showing my gratitude.
Remembrance Day. Lunch with a friend from work at Yellow Cup Cafe. My first time there. The place is busy.
We are lucky and find a table. We eat, we chat, and soon we realize we are late for work. Wow, that went by fast. Quick, grab our stuff and head back to the office.
Phew, no one seems to notice that our lunch ran a bit over. Get started on my project again. I'm immersed. My phone vibrates with a message. It's Visa. I ignore it. Then my husband calls me. "Did you spend 1200 dollars at Winners during your lunch?", pause, "No". I go to check for my wallet, it's gone. Shit.
I call to cancel my cards, it's hard, Remembrance day is a bank holiday. More time for this guy to spend money, shoot. He obviously did some planning.
I call the cafe, maybe they ditched my wallet once they took the cash and cards. No such luck I'm told, after the woman on the phone checks the lost and found. Barbara: "Oh but I can check the security camera", Me: "You have a security camera?!" Her: "Oh yes of course we do. Now tell me what you are wearing, sitting, and the time." I go on to describe in detail. I do not have hope, 1. of her really taking the time to review the footage and 2. that she will see anything in that video of a busy cafe. She doesn't call back. I'm not surprised.
I get into the office in the morning, I've cancelled cards, ordered new documents from service ontario, called for replacements of my membership cards, filed police reports both criminal and fraud, there is a laundry list.
Then I get a call, it's Barbara, "I see them clear as day, a man a woman they take your wallet out of your purse!" She goes on excitedly about the criminals appearance, actions, and attempt on another woman. I can't believe it. We've got them. We are both excited. "I'll get my guy to make a copy" says Barbara. Wow, instead of shunning me for have a negative experience at her cafe, she has embraced it and provided me evidence for police to catch this couple. Amazing.
The details that follow are not that exciting, my back and forth with the police and credit card company. Documenting all stores, times, and locations of their spending spree. If and when caught, I want them to be charged with everything they did.
Barbara calls the following morning, the tape is ready. Awesome, thanks Barbara. I hang up thinking, wow, how can I ever thank her.
What Barbara did, she didn't have to do. A lot of people would not. I'm a good person and I think people are good, and I still didn't expect Barbara to do it. But she did it.
Out of a very nasty act, came a very kind act. And for that I will be forever grateful to her and the Yellow Cup Cafe.
