Cosmic Treats is literally amazing. I was getting a chocolate cookie dough milkshake here almost everyday when I lived in Toronto. Basically every treat they have is great but the peanut butter crisps and the 'cookie brownies' were my favourite. The 'Chicken' ceaser wrap Is the best fake chicken (or any meat), wrap that i've had anywhere ever. The lasagne is perfect and so is the red lentil & sweet potato chilli. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and there's free wifi (+plenty of places to charge your devices). Looking to eat vegan? Not a vegan but looking to eat some delicious treats? No doubts, this is the place to go.
Where to start. ..Vegan chocolate bars that are better then the dairy versions like peanut butter cups and butterfingers...the real deal. And all those other delicious candies on the shelves. The custom variety of the vegan ice creams. ..when i order a pint it's always half of 2 different flavours because they are so delicious. The treats and desserts are unique and mouth watering delicious! The food. ..if i loved next door I'd be there frequently for my diners. I've lived everything on their menu. My favourites include the delicious vegan pot pies. ..the lasagna. ..the breakfast with pancakes /waffles. I've taken non - vegans both adults and kids and they've all loved the food. One friend put aside the fries and waffles at first saying too much carbs. ..then ended up eating everything because it was so delicious. Besides the great food they have great staff that are truly heart warming! Love this place! Looking forward to a second location in the Annex/Seaton neighbourhood!
Went to Cosmic Treats yesterday afternoon for the first time. As soon as I walked in it really felt "cosmic" with the awesome wall art that make you feel like you're in a spaceship and the futuristic-looking light fixtures. The atmosphere was great! I'd have to admit the slanted glasses tripped me out of a bit, haha! I ordered the lasagna main dish that comes with a side of salad. It was SO good! The best lasagna I have ever had, I'd recommend it to everyone! Decided to get a treat after and went with the birthday cake ice cream. It was my first time trying cashew milk based ice cream and boy was it delicious! Also, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back. <3
Went there for dinner! The staff was awesome and super friendly!! The food was amazing! I hardly ever get to go out for vegan food due to limited places where I live, so this was great. I got the Caesar wrap which was amazing because I haven't gotten to have one since going vegan!! I wouldn't have known it was vegan. I also got to try the spaghetti & meatballs and tofu chicken. Both were great but the tofu was to die for! I wished I could have ordered that too after trying it! Got the birthday cake & cookie dough nice cream and it was sooo good! I ended up buying a bunch of sweet treats to try for later!! I bet they will be amazing too!! I took family who all aren't vegan and they had an awesome time and kept forgetting the food was vegan!! Highly recommend going here!! I know I will have to come back next time I'm in town!!

I've been vegan since 1997. I've seen the vegan restaurant scene change in Toronto. I'd eaten at all of them up until a couple years ago when they started popping up in the east and more north. I've also traveled around eating at various vegan places across Canada and the US. We've been a little behind savory food that happens in the US and EXTREMELY behind sweet treats offered by our neighbours. When Cosmic Treats opened I realized Toronto had FINALLY gotten a restaurant that compared with the dessert places in the USA. I have not been disappointed with ANY of the sweets I've had from Cosmic Treats - and I've had PLENTY. The coconut creem pie is indistinguishable from the "southern diner" types, the cookie brownie meshes my two favourite baked goods, the peanut butter cups melt in your mouth, the cupcakes are fun AND taste good (!) and the ice creem is basically the best in the city (it is extremely creamy and not too sweet! Plus the flavour varieties never cease to delight!). So I can't recommend them enough - and this is coming from someone who was making and serving vegan desserts for 20 years!
SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! We shared the Mac and cheese balls to start and they were absolutely to die for. Next time I'm not sharing� The chicken Caesar wrap was the best one I've had at any vegan restaurant in toronto. And although I'm not much of a dessert person I couldn't stop 'tasting' my friends orders...they had the mint chocolate chip ice cream, a cookie ice cream sandwich and chocolate mousse cake.
Wish I didn't live far so I could go more often but it will definitely be worth the drive in from Whitby!
Looking forward to taking my non vegan ice cream loving friend here...they won't be disappointed!
Fantastic food, atmosphere, staff and owner! I literally cried when I tasted the deep-fried macaroni and cheese balls because it reminded me of a food I loved before I became allergic to lactose from an illness - the taste was perfect! Their main dishes and desserts are fab and the owner is very knowledgeable of what is being served in his business and relishes feed back to keep quality up. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone!

I absolutely looooove Cosmic Treats. Amazing, friendly staff with a menu full of vegan goodies. Their homemade ice cream is the best I've had so far! Very unique menu and the atmosphere is great too.

My partner and I enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. The full breakfast with pancakes was yummy and the quiche was great too. We brought home a bag of treats and so far the cinnamon bun and peanut butter cookie were awesome. We can't wait to return!
The cashew ice cream is insane delicious! As is the quiche and the pot pie. We love this place, and our daughter can't get enough of their ice cream and cupcakes! �
Finally got to try this place after seeing this everywhere in Toronto. I ordered the all day breakfast and I enjoyed the cornmeal waffles and the potatoes are addictive! Plus the people here are super nice.
This place was recommended by "vegan gains" so I had to check it out.
I ordered two scoops of waffle cone ice cream: chocolate and cookie dough. Chocolate flavor is classic and you can't go wrong with that. Cookie dough is very creamy and I recommend it if you like Oreos.
Honestly this is the best vegan ice cream I ever had. And I have pretty much tried them all. Super friendly staff even though I walked in during closing time. I'm a huge fan of the place and I'm surely coming back to try other items on their menu.
Great place for lunch and dessert!! I love their selection of candy on the side of the cash counter!! Their cupcakes, ice-cream, pies and more are all excellent, especially the coconut cream pie!!

A great spot to sit and have a cool treat on a hot day in Kensington. If you're hungry you can order up a main from their pretty extensive menu.
For a great experience:
Order the lasagna to eat one of the best in the city - better than some Italian restaurants I've been to.
Then order up any one of the desserts, you won't regret it.
Courteous staff. We tried the peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake, berry cheesecake, cinnamon roll, jammer cookie, chocolate mousse cake. All delicious. Definitely recommend coming to this vegan treats shop! The shop also offers plant based savory comfort dishes that smell mouth-watering.
Kensington market has recently started to become a hot spot for many different types of cuisine, especially when it comes to vegan options. Cosmic treats is definitely one of the better places for vegan restaurants.
I decided to try a chocolate milkshake with almond milk and cashew based ice cream. I found this to be much better than expected because instead of an overpowering sweet taste like most ice creams, you get the crunch and richness of the almonds and cashews. This makes it way easier to have in a short period of time without feeling a stomach ache or your teeth hurt. The only complain I would have is that it was definitely a lot runnier than I expected, which made it a lot easier to spill for a clumsy person like myself.
I would love to see what Cosmic treat is capable of when I have the time to sit down for a meal. Until then, I'll stick with the milkshakes.
Cosmic treats is one of the better vegan restaurants I've been to.
I came here for a friend's birthday party and was impressed by her selection. I ordered their lasagna (which was super filling), with a side salad, and a brownie with ice cream for dessert.
The sauce for the lasagna was not my favourite; as it was a tad on the sweet side. However, I am usually critical of tomato sauces. The 'cheese' was surprisingly similar to the real thing, and therefore satisfying.
The chocolate ice cream was super creamy and I couldn't tell it was vegan and no ice crystals were to be found! The brownie was a little dry but the luscious ice cream made it much better.
The best part was the chocolate fountain my friend ordered. It was fun to dip my left over pieces of brownie into the chocolate.
This place was pretty good for a vegan place but I'm still a little too stingy. I would come back with vegan friends but not on my own accord.
Really great dinner here - we tried the Veggielicious 2016 menu and had a great time.
Dessert was especially wonderful but the Dorito-crusted tofu really stole the spotlight.
Check it out! I would definitely recommend it.
Amazing place with the best vegan icecream ive ever had. Their hot chocolate and cookies are also very good. Next time i'll come back for some beer and bar food.
I've been following this place on Instagram for some time, but when I actually moved to Toronto I knew this had to be one of the first places I hit up. This place has by-far the best vegan desserts I've ever had (and I've had plenty). They're cashew ice-cream is to die for and all of my friends would agree. I got an ice-cream sandwich which is customizable (chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal raisin, etc.) with two chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cashew ice-cream and it was AMAZING. Like I'm still in a good mood, and I ate it like an hour ago. I also purchased a Cinnamon Roll for my breakfast tomorrow morning, and I am expecting only the best. Will be returning as soon as I can!

Amazing new vegan restaurant with incredible cashew ice cream sundaes. People who don't usually eat vegan stuff will like it too. Everything tastes like there is love inside. The food menu has a surprisingly big selection considering they are a treat shop. A huge leap forward in the toronto vegan scene.
