The cashier wasn't friendly at all, and made us feel rushed, customer service clearly doesn't matter to her. After receiving our sandwiches (we ordered 5) we were all very disappointed, it's like the sandwiches were just thrown together, they weren't even cut in half properly. To be honest, I will never go back to this location again, we traveled all the way from downtown (Dundas & Bathurst) because the location on Claremont was closed...I've been going to California Sandwiches since I was a child and have only ever been to the downtown location and personally it's the best one.

Overall good veal sandwich, my only complaint would be the cheese that was used wasn't that great taste wise (I'm not saying the cheese was bad, just didn't like the flavor). The onion rings on the other hand are absolutely amazing!!!

Let's be honest.
Tasty food, taste diffrent from other sandwiches I had. Delicious sauce.
But for that price I'm gonna say it's not worth it.
The portion inside sandwich wasn't satisfying barely can taste any cheese and you are gonna have a thick bread.
I think it's gonna be an overrated place in my opinion.

My favourite sandwich spot. Italian sandwiches are worth every penny and ate fresh, filling and delicious. I love the veggie sandwich it comes with a bunch of veggies and I usually add the parmesan eggplant patty extra. Ordered delivery but highly recommend everything! I got the sauce on the side and they give more than enough. If you're considering trying it, just do it. You won't be disappointed!

They have the best hot table! Unfortunately the hot table is only open Monday to Friday at lunch time. Any other time though, you can get the best sandwiches!! Would give 5 stars if it had a dinner time hot table!

Delicious as always. Honestly, anything on the menu is well worth the wait. The lunch crowd hits around 12:15 but the owners and staff are so efficient you don't notice the wait.

The place was clean however the steak sandwich was on the cold side. Even my daughters veal sandwich was on the cold side. Except the fries they were hot. Whuch I don't understand why it was cold when it was not busy at all. For the amountthat the sandwich cost you would think it would be hot.

Their veal sandwich is about 40% less veal as before. I guess they are cutting corners and cost. Sorry will not be going back. The taste also different. So sad. But we move on to new places.
