Saw this place on a Best Pizza in Toronto list. Took the kids there on a Friday night and had to wait a bit as they don't take reservations on Fri or Sat nights. It was less than 5 minutes before one of the brothers seated us. We ordered 2 pizzas, the Fratelli and the Popeye, and the Pesto Penne Fratelli. The place was packed and we got our food very fast. Everything was piping hot, fresh, and deliscious. Hands down the best pizza we've had in T.O. The guy who seated us came over and introduced himself as Sal, one of the partners, and explained that Fratelli means "brothers" in Italian. His brother Mateo was one of the chefs in the kitchen, and there were various other family members working there too. Sal took time to stop at each table, introduce himself and ask the customers their name as well, and make sure and everything was okay and when they were leaving, he'd stop again to thank them and say please come back. They treat customers like family there and we'll definitely go back. Tip: don't wear a sweater. That wood fired pizza oven keeps the place warm and toasty. 😅
I didnt really believe the 4+ stars for this place on almost every review site. Everyone raved their pizza, so hesitantly, I ordered pizza (not a big fan of pizza in restaurants, eapecially when there is a risotto on the menu lol). I was pleasantly surprised at how great the pizza was! Soft bread, abundant toppings, very cheesy! Best part is that even after an hour (as we chatted) the integrity of the pizza stayed the way it was presented. I was impressed! Highly recommended. We even overlooked the fact that the server forgot to bring us bread in the beginning

Wanted to find a new restaurant as opposed to the regular chains that rush you out and over charge you. Saw the reviews and decided to try it.
Without a doubt one of the BEST meals I’ve ever had!!!!! We ordered calamari, Cesar salad, linguine Mare, and veal Parmesan. Unbelievable to say the very least. Staff were amazing, food was fast without feeling rushed and no pressure to pay and leave. An absolute recommendation to anyone who loves Italian food!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times over the last few years. The food is always hot and delicious and the staff is fantastic. Sal one of the owners is one of the friendliest person I've ever met. He greets everyone with a personal hello at the door and then mingles all night long making sure all the customers in the restaurant are happy with the meal. I would definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely amazing service and food. The quality is second to none! Definitely recommend you try it out. Authentic Italian food at its best.

This is our favourite Italian restaurant in the GTA. Delicious pizza and risotto are what we keep coming back for. Sometimes you may have to wait for a table on a Saturday but the food is awesome and worth the wait. Great friendly service too.

The best Pizzeria in Toronto hands down! Phenomenal food, amazing atmosphere, and Salvatore makes it always a great reason to keep coming back.
I have done many parties and outings here and I always make sure I tell everyone about how great this place is.

I visited the St Claire and O'Connor location. The moment I stepped foot into this restaurant I was taken by the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.
The food was very authentic like it was straight out of my grandmother's kitchen. Coming from a Sicilian background I was shocked to see a traditional risotto dish that my family makes every thanks giving on the menu and when I ordered it I was thoroughly impressed.
One of the owners was there greeting and seeing people out. Shaking every single customers hand and personally thanking them when they were done.
I was so impressed by that and the food and service I would go back there every night for dinner as it feels like I was at home.
I will recommend this to every single person I know and I look forward to my next visit.

The food, service and atmosphere is top notch! This is our go- to - place to eat in our neighbourhood. No need to go elsewhere! Jason makes the BEST Latte! :) and the owners and staff make you feel like you're family everytime you walk through the door.

I ate at the East York location last night. Matthew (the owner) came over to say hello. Service was excellent. The waitress Alexia was very helpful and attentive. By far the most authentic Italian Restaurant east of the Don Valley! All of the food was excellent. This place gives Woodbridge Italian restaurants a run for their money! I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant a lot!!! Thanks Matthew for making my birthday an enjoyable one :)
The food is amazing and the service is great as well, almost as good as my favorite Italian restaurant...

Kids had pizza, which was great. Calamari was rather chewy and the Penne a la vodka was very bland. Nice little spot, but the food could be spiced up a bit.
A hidden gem. This is the kind of place you might drive past and not think twice about .... you may think it's a pizzeria and i guess it is BUT the "other" food is fantastic!! The pasta, the veal Oi!!! Such wonderful flavour! So lovingly prepared, and yes half the menu is pizza!! I read a few bad reviews which mostly centered on having to wait .... well guess what? It's a small place with great food, not McDonalds, if you want in and out fast go somewhere else and if you have to wait for an hour .... you have to wait for an hour! Yes, the food is THAT GOOD! Sorry if you had a coupon! LOL!! If Sal or Mateo told me I had to wait an hour, guess what? I'd get a spot at the bar and wait ....
Best of Everything!. Absolutely fantastic. The price is a little high, but for the amount of food, quality of food, and quality of service you are getting it is definitely worth it. If you're planning a visit keep in mind it is a very popular restaurant and since they unfortunately don't take reservations you should be prepared for a little bit of a wait. We usually arrive right at 5 when they open or around 7:30 after the dinner rush and we don't have to wait. The staff are friendly and always make you feel like family. I will never stop going here! P.s. I highly recommend the Pesto Pasta - it's to die for!
A Scarborough GEM!. What a pleasurable experience! Went there yesterday with a friend of mine and we ended up ordering the chicken pappardelle and veal parmesan. The service, pricing and meals were fantastic! The portions were massive, I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys really authentic Italian food for an extremely reasonable price.
Great family environment. Very fresh ingredients. Excellent selection for wines and food. Their pizzas are done in a wood burning oven very authentic taste. Looking forward to going back! Very friendly owners as we'll :)
Great night. Took my girlfriend to dinner here. We arrived a little later then usual for dinner as the decision was last minute. Seated quickly though and the table was a little small. The food made up for it though and our waiter was very attentive. We were still eating by close and they didn't rush us in the slightest. I know this place is usually busy so reserve a table of you plan to eat at normal dinner time. The tiramisu and mushroom risoto was perfect. Great portions too. Would always go back if I pass near.
So Happy To See them Open Again. Regular Spot for Date Night for my GF and I - Pizzas are huge and amazing and pesto pasta is a must try -- family run with great atmosphere and wine isnt too overpriced - have been returning for many many years, happy to see them open and cooking !
Open again fantastic food. Closed for quite a while after afire but reopened and is an amazing place for good food...only problem is the limited parking near by. give it a try you won't be sorry!

Best Pizza in Scarborough!. I just went to Fratelli yesterday night for dinner with my boyfriend and it was FANTASTIC! It took a while to find the place (because it's a pretty small place at the end of a strip mall) but it was well worth it!
When we got into the restaurant, it was already packed. There was a large crowd of people waiting for tables at the entrance. Just a note: the restaurant is quite small, so if you're planning on going with a large party, be prepared to wait! Shortly after entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the host. He was incredibly inviting and made us feel welcome. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, which is not bad at all.
The servers were very attentive and nice, too! Service was quick and our orders came to us in about 15 minutes. The pizza was excellent! It had fantastic flavour and a wonderfully crispy crust. If you are looking for a thin crust pizza made in a a wood-fired oven, this is the place to go! The host was so attentive and even visited our table to make sure everything was fine.
I will definitely be going back. Check this place out!
Desserts. Went there for a coffee and dessert with a friend, enjoyed it even though it's more of a pizzeria restaurant. Cozy and inviting atmosphere, waitstaff was very attentive.
Amazing. This place is a hidden Gem in Scarborough. There are so few decent non-chain restaurants in Scarb (relative to other parts of the GTA) that aren't Philipino or Hakka.
This place is awesome. One of the best italian restaurants around. It's always really busy, and it's small, so prepare to wait.
Service is good and the servers and host (owner?) were very friendly.
A little piece of Italy in Scarborough. Fratelli is a nice little "Pizzeria/Trattoria" where you can go with your family everyday.
The food is simple and delicious in the same time; it is like eating at home.
The pizza is probably the best close to the original italian in the GTA east.
Local Favourite. Quaint pizzeria is worth the wait in line. The locals are regulars and the manager/owner knows them all well enough to give out hugs and handshakes. Pizza is done well, but I would skip the calamari. Not as good as pizza I've had in Italia, of course, but exponentially better than franchise pizza! Bonus: You don't have to go downtown to a fancy get-up for quality Italian food!

Pleasantly Surprised. I was pleasantly surprised by this Highland Creek Italian restaurant. When I arrived around 7:45 pm the place was packed, however my companion and I were seated almost immediately. If you are planning to visit with a group I recommend going in after 8:30 or calling ahead as the group that entered with us had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We ordered the Caesar salad, fried calamari and Milan's pizza to share.
The Caesar salad was coated perfectly in dressing, not too much to make the romaine lettuce wilt as can happen if too much dressing is used. The dressing was not overwhelmed by garlic or anchovies, so rest assured your breath should stay relatively bearable afterwards. The salad portion is good for one but was split nicely between the two of us. The calamari was perfectly battered and crisp. This is definitely a dish you'd want to share however ask for more garlic sauce as this finished before the calamari. The Milan thin crust pizza was crisp and not overwhelmed by tomato sauce and each slice (6) had a good portion of toppings on it. My only issue with the pizza (and salad) was that I found it too be a little salty - my companion also agreed with this opinion. I'm not sure if I noticed the salt because I tend to watch my sodium intake and never add salt to prepared meals, but definitely have a glass of water at your table. Finally, to end the evening I ordered a creme brulee that has got to be the most perfect brulee I have ever eaten. It was creamy, lick the bowl clean good. The only thing that took away slightly was that the caramelized sugar layer was burnt a little, but the consistency and flavour of the dessert made up for the shortcoming. Overall I recommend Fratellis and will be back to try a pasta dish in the near future.
So good!. When you walk into Fratelli's you're greeted by owner Sal as if you were coming home! The stone oven baked pizzas are awesome! Fresh ingredients, authentic recipes - try Sal's dad's homemade chili oil! Good wine selection, roasty espresso, and decadent desserts. My only criticism is that they need a larger venue!
Fratelli's. Great food and great service. Feels like I'm back home in Italy. The owner is so warm and inviting and treats you like gold.
What a wonderful experience all around. The restaurant is totally unassuming from the outside but as soon as you open the door you are met by a bustling and cozy restaurant. The owner made a point of greeting all the guests and seemed to know almost have of the patrons by name. Every member of the service team interacted with us and made us feel special. Definitely a great team.
5 star service aside, the food is really delicious. We really can't wait to try everything on the menu. Bruschetta pizza was a hit. Oh and Mamma's Cheesecake!

Amazing service. Good portions on meals. Toppings are fresh on pizza. Flavor in pasta was great. First come first serve seating so it's good to get there shortly after the restaurant opens.

Pizzeria is in the name and the pizza doesn't disappoint! I've lived in area for years and have noticed the place is always busy. Decided it was finally time to see if the activity lived up to the hype. It's relaxed inside and the staff & service is super efficient and very friendly. Every seat in the house was full and despite this, our meals came out quick. Looking forward to checking it out again and working my through the long list of standard house crafted pizzas!
A year or two ago I would've given them 5 stars as the quality ingredients and food was amazing. The last year or so the consistency is just not there. We basically order the same items every Thursday or Friday night. One week it will be fantastic. Exploding with favour and the next week it's almost bland.
It's still our go to Italian restaurant in the area but I miss the "old" days of this place when it wasn't so popular and more consistent.

I'm in love with Fratelli pizza! So many delicious pizza choices (Funghi and Popeye are 2 faves), the grilled veggies, and the fried calamari with lemon dip. And they're so friendly too. Nice location. I hope they're around for a long time.
Can't describe it as anything but a local gem. Great service with friendly owners and delicious food. There were so many options we ordered multiple dishes to share; and everything was so flavourful. My favorite was the fratelli dessert.
