Oh my! We came in from Thunder Bay and had the Bardi's Special with baked potato. Everything was over the top. Best steak ever. Trust me, we eat a lot of steak. Our first time at Bardi's but it surely won't be our last. Great birthday gift for my husband. We both enjoyed ourselves! Thank you to our server Miguel and all the staff.

My Granddaughter and I visited Bardi's prior to a concert last night. I had not visited there in 45 years but it was the very same cozy decor, wonderful service, and delicious food as it was back then. My Granddaughter raved about her Caesar salad, said it was one of the best she had ever had. I felt the same about my French Onion soup. Delicious! We both ordered the grilled chicken breast with seasonal veggies and when it arrived, the portions were more than ample. If we had not been attending the concert, half of the order would have been taken home. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I definitely won't wait another 45 years to return to Bardi's!

Time for a more updated review! My husband and I went to Bardi's earlier this week during our short stay in Toronto. We're from Alberta, so we know a good steak when we see one and the ones we had were cooked to perfection! We both had the surf & turf meal and I can honestly say that was the largest and most delicious lobster we ever had to accompany our steaks. We started off with a shrimp cocktail and they're not kidding when they're serving the largest. We also shared a French Onion Soup, which was good too. Jaime Flores, the Manager, was our server for the evening and was very friendly and not pushy. He said a few times to sit back and enjoy the evening. When I was choosing between Riesling's, I was unsure of which one to go with and wasn't sure I wanted to pay for a whole bottle. Jaime made a different suggestion instead (Pinot Grigio) that he let me sample first. His recommendation was great and I could order them by the glass instead. Although some of the reviews below claim bad service, all the servers that were working that night were spot on and were helping each other. All were polite, friendly, and accommodating. I finished my meal with a simple raspberry sorbet and it was great too. So for those questioning whether they should go check out Bardi's - you definitely should! These past reviews are clearly outdated!
Great location if you want a quality steak before catching a Leafs game at ACC. The decor of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, and it's pretty open and loud, but it has great steaks. More for grabbing a meal with the guys before a game then entertaining a date...
Great Steaks!. I went there with a colleague for dinner on Friday night. It was not very busy, as most of their business comes from lunch time and Leaf fans. The service was very good and prompt. I had the "Bardi's Special" bone in rib steak cooked medium-rare. It was perfectly prepared and one of the most satisfying steaks I've had in some time. The price is fair given the quality of the steak in my opinion, but that all depends on how much you're willing to spend. My colleague had the green peppercorn New York cut steak cooked medium and really liked it. After our meal, we chatted with one of the managers on our way out. Really friendly guy with some nice stories. I would definitely come back here again.
The environment is small but cozy and romantic, the staffs, owner and waiters were very friendly and welcoming.
We tried Cheese and Garlic Toast that was delicious, Wolfhead Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon (picture), it was very good too and the largest shrimps you’ve ever tried 🤩 (Shrimp Cocktail).
The stake was good as well.
Best Steakhouse in Toronto! The waiter was very kind and the Steak was BEYOND 5 stars! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fancy dinner. Keep up the great work!
Met with some clients and had a great experience. Warm and quiet environment with a solid menu. The steaks had a perfect cook on them, sides were fresh and it all tasted good.
**UPDATE** Came here again tonight for my bfs birthday. I had a few requests which they actually did! I requested 2 glasses of wine to be ready at the table for our reso with the shrimp bardis appetizer, and they came through! My bf was very thankful and surprised! Dinner was beyond amazing 👏 thank you guys for helping to make this night super special for us. Everything was perfect! I love that they are attentive and welcoming. They even let us take a photo with the beautiful cellar! We will always come back here. They have a digital menu, sign in for contact tracing, sanitizer, and everyone follows the covid protocols. :)
Staff are extremely pleasant. The food is beyond amazing. I had the bardis special. A giant rib steak (bone in) and had the shrimp bardis as an appetizer. Their wine selection is out of this world. The zinfindel was a nice pairing to the steak. Overall simple yet beautiful place to eat. Thank you Bardis!
