Great service, great staff, and superb food! Kevin and team always make every visit memorable. An amazing hidden gem on the Danforth. Looking for a great patio with an urban vibe you’ve found it.
My first time but not my last. Great atmosphere, Lucy our waitress was delightful & helpful! The food was amazing, the prime rib was perfectly cooked andI had the best mashed potatoes I've eaten in years. Fabulous selection of wines and we indulged in sharing the flourless chocolate cake which was to die for....a great experience!!!
I live in the neighbourhood and this is my favourite restaurant in "The Danny." I've been to Morgans many times over the past few years for brunch, lunch, and dinner and every time I come I'm always thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. There's been several times when I've said right out loud "this is the best I've ever had" of whatever it is I'm eating. They've got a fine selection and variety of food and drinks as well as some great specials most days of the week. Also the service is excellent and friendly. Being there is very comfortable - it feels like home. I also find Morgans' prices to be quite reasonable - every time I go I feel like I've gotten good value. I really can't recommend this place enough, I see it as a real treasure along the Danforth. Thanks for being awesome!
Just had an amazing dinner with the family here. Food was tasty, service was great! Staff is excited about the new menu and they should be! We’re lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in our neighbourhood.
Delicious food with a great list of consignment wines. Very friendly staff and the ambiance is perfect for a great dinner with friends. Morgans is the sister restaurant to The Hot House at Front & Church downtown, so if you love that spot, you'll love this one too!
Kevin and staff are genuinely welcoming every visit, the food is consistently interesting and Patrick makes the best martini in town! Visit soon, visit often!
Service was great and food was excellent !
Will have to come back as the sticky pudding was not on the winterlicious menu;)
Great food, friendly and courteous staff and intimate place to experience professional live music every Sunday 2-5pm including a vocal jazz jam on the last Sunday of each month. See you there.
Good selection of beer, great menu well executed and friendly and attentive staff! Will certainly return...
This is my go-to restaurant for all special occasions. Great food, great staff, great beer!
Food and people are excellent. Unique menu, great beer and wine.
great food and service, Will recommend to others.
My favorite in my neighborhood. Servers are very nice and friendly.
Great onion soup, fries, and falafel sandwich today! Service always super fine.
I dont understand the hype. It is a nice place but it gets busy and loud. Food is average but service is very fiendly. My steak was so so. But they have a great selections of beers from all over the world. Good belgian beers
Morgan's is a great little restaurant on the Danforth at Greenwood Station with friendly & efficient staff, a great all hours menu (as well as a great brunch selection as pictured in macro), good craft beer and drinks. A lovely oasis!
love this place! The food is really good, they are super kid-friendly (we go at 5pm so it's nice and quiet). My favourites are their french onion soup, beet salad, boar ragu, fried chicken. Great beer selection too. And the people are just the nicest! We go a few times a month and have never had bad service or bad food.
My husband and I typically come to Morgan's for a date night. There is a decent selection of craft beer on tap but the food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant has daily specials along with the regular menu and a lot of the menu items are a Korean bistro fusion style but there's quite a diverse selection so even the pickiest eater can find something they would want on the menu. Service is very friendly and attentive.
Looks small from the outside, but inside is surprisingly spacious. There was even a small patio with a few tables out front. Heading inside, a sheik pub atmosphere welcomed us for Summerlicious. . We were seated at the back on the upper level. We checked out the drink menu and I was impressed; they have a great variety of beer! There were many beers I'd never seen before and some usual suspects. They love sourcing locally, but they also embrace the lesser known imports. My aunt tried the Spirit Tree Pub Cider and I was going through Mill Street Organic withdrawals, so I had to have my favourite! Â
Had the pleasure of dining here on Saturday for Summerlicious. The service and food are both 5 star and I will definitely be making another visit soon! The staff are very friendly, the food is very delicious and every mouthful is magic. The combination of flavors were delightful and the portions were quite generous. Chef Anne even came outside to talk and share her memories of Trinidad and her inspiration for the dishes. She really cooks with heart and I was very impressed with every dish. I cannot wait to return to see what she has in store next. Thank you Anne and Kevin and my lovely waitress for a very memorable and amazing dining experience! See you soon.
A unique drinking experience - Bartender Pat pours me a "Smoked Old Fashioned." Woodford Reserved Bourbon, Maple Syrup, and Angostura Bitters. And then things get interesting - Bartender Pat hickory smokes the drink (at the bar) using an interesting smoking apparatus! All served over an ice ball. Interesting and delicious ($14).
We found our way east of Greenwood today, and while originally in search of Ethiopian fare, we were enticed by two happy locals basking in the sunny afternoon on Morgan’s Patio. A not-so-surreptitious glance on the food on their plates cemented the decision to dine here instead.
Great service, above average beer selection and great food. Crispy Eggplant Roll was fantastic!
Great variety of quality food. Try the nachos and the wild boar tagliatelle. Food was excellent. Service was very attentive.
Went here on a sunday and had the roast beef special. Really tasty and great value. Lots of interesting beers on tap and friendly staff. Glad I came by to check this restaurant out
Amazing food and service. Far above expectations every time and great specials - wings and muscles in particular. Needless to say, I will be a regular.
For the craft beer lover. Amazing selection of scotch and beers (lots of microbrews) is what brought me to this restaurant. It's hard to find a place that actually puts some thought into more than just wine for their diners. The food was good at fair prices. One suggestion I would make is to put some effort into creating a menu for all their bottled beers. It was a bit of a hassle peering over the bar trying to see into the fridges to decide which of the many great beers I wanted to try! I would definitely go back!
I was very happy with my first visit to Morgan’s On The Danforth. My dish lived up to expectations and between other amazing sights and smells I have no doubt I’ll be back sometime. If you’re on the east end (Danforth smack in the middle between Donlands and Coxwell) you’d be well served to pop in for some great food.
Summerlicious is here! So was the annual street festival in Little India, but by the time I went to it with food in mind, there was torrential rain, a fire truck and, from what I hear, a ruptured/blown up propane tank. Nice. I was at Morgans on the Danforth on Saturday when it was nicer [and by that I mean 39 Celsius with the humidity, ironically very close to New Delhi weather]. So I can’t review the festival this year, sadly, but then there’s the Taste on the Danforth, God there’s a lot of stuff going on the minute school stops. Anyways, Morgans on the Danforth is a pub that could easily pass as a restaurant or family place, but also one that has a very large menu of alcohol, maybe even enough to tide over a citizen of The Czech Republic [they drink the most beer in the world, and some people literally bathe in Guinness], but it looked good. So did the classy, air-conditioned seating and the talented singer/guitarist who was also a friend of someone in our group named Dan. T
I don't come to the Danforth that often, but when I do, it's almost always for Greek food. It was refreshing to come to this slightly upscale gastro pub for dinner.
The place was packed! Therefore, the service was a little slower than I would have preferred.
I had the smoky tomato soup, which was indeed smoky and flavourful, though a tad on the salty side. For my main, I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken, which was so moist, tender and crispy. I just wish it was marinated in a little more spices. The dipping sauce that came with the chicken was absolutely divine! The uber flavourful Sriracha honey sauce tasted like something you might find from a specialty gourmand shop. The dish did come with chard and cornbread, which was delicious.
I never went to camp as a child, so I missed out on the whole smore making experience around a bonfire. Was I ever happy to see that a smore was on the dessert menu, so I just had to sample it! I do believe the smore I had was a more upscale version of the camper's delight. It wasn't messy or gooey, although I would have preferred more marshmallowy gooey goodness. The smore tasted similar to that of a decadent brownie.
While the starter and the dessert were perfectly portioned, the fried chicken dish was massive! You will definitely not leave Morgan's hungry! Give it a try!
A nice restaurant on Danforth. I thought the Gnocchi's portion size was a little small, though the chicken we ordered was amazing. They ran out of most of the beer I wanted but still had a great selection. The servers here are absolute the sweetest. Would recommend.
Best cocktails. Love the ambience. The General Manager and chefs make sure you have a great time with food. Tiramisu pancakes on their brunch menu are the highlight. Great portion size and amazing flavours. Loved the plant based burger as well. Will always recommend if you are looking for perfect food and drinks. Their beer on tap and wine collection is worth a try too!
Had our 10th anniversary dinner here. The Caesar salad was good but could use more dressing. My hubby had the Morgan's burger which he enjoyed but the bun was a bit soggy from the condiments. We has the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was very good. The butterscotch bourbon sauce was amazing!!! Service was great!!!!
Great brunch. Looking forward to next time!
New #1 Brunch Spot on the Danforth! Amazing Chef Pauline and Manager Jimmy make this a brunch you won't forget. Highly recommmend you start with a coffee martini - Jimmy makes only the best (and isn't too hard on the eyes either!) We had the Peameal Katsu on a bun - crispy, heavenly peameal paired with a savory coleslaw on a homemade melt-in-your-mouth bun. And the fries! Best I've ever had bar none. My dining partner had the eggs forestiere - a scintillating twist on eggs Benedict with wild mushrooms finishing in an exquisite umami flavour. Dessert was exceptional - sticky toffee pudding is light, airy and divine and completely made on-site. Overall, ambiance is very chill with an upscale gastropub vibe. Will definitely come back again and again. Thanks for all the mimosas Jimmy - and thanks to the lovely Amore for putting up with us, you're a real gem!
Great place. Wonderful service, good food, and the desserts are to die for! Nice atmosphere and family-friendly.
