Came here on a whim and I'm glad we did. They offer tapas like food so it's perfect meal for sharing. We came for early dinner during the weekend and were able to get our table quickly. The server is attentive and was able to give recommendation that suits our tastes. Food was really good (excellent
Amazing place to go for brunch! Lots of natural light and great seating. The food is also delicious! Their lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry sauce are actually buttermilk pancakes with a ricotta spread on top, but still great. Our favourite though was the chocolate chip walnut cookie!! They’re b
Highly recommend!! Makes sure you put your name down early and factor in a wait on the weekends - but it’s so worth it!! Brunch items: lemon ricotta pancakes, and braves have been my favorite. Can’t wait to go back and try the other menus!! The charming decor makes it all the more enjoyable
Great brunch spot downtown! The Fried Eggs Bravas are awesome and a must order. The Housemade Ricotta was also great, served with sourdough toast making every bite delicious. The staff was very friendly, checking our table multiple times. The interior of the restaurant looks and feels great. Awesome
I would eat here for every meal, if I could. Even the hot sauce is made in-house and tastes delicious. The avocado toast and eggs are creamy and well balanced, and the cookies...OMG, the cookies and coffees/hot chocolate. They're all so yummy. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the me
Sunny patio- delicious brunch- SMALL BEERS! My partner and I came here last Sunday for brunch. We didn't have a reservation, and got there around 11:30 and found a table on the patio right away- no waiting! The service was great, very fast and friendly. I was a little disappointed when my $8 beer
Overall brunch was amazing. Loved the steak and eggs. Service was superb. The bread on these are just divine. And the drip coffee was also very good too! Would definitely come back for another meal!
Came here for brunch and it was excellent. The food was great, make sure you get a warm chocolate chip cookie on the way out. Service was great. My favourite was the huevos chilaquiles and then the lemon ricotta pancakes. They also have additional coffees and lattes near the front door, we tried the
Was here for an event and the food was uber delicious. The PV Burger is so juicy and well put together. There is a tone of vegetarian options and the fried cauliflower is soooo good. Highly recommend it. The atmosphere is just right, not too crowded or too dim. I might add that the dessert were deli
Good place for brunch food. Food is tasty! I had smashed avocado toast with patatas bravas as a side and fresh squeezed orange juice. The atmosphere is cozy with tasteful decor. My main critique is that it is a bit on the pricey side for what you get. We arrived right after they opened on a Sunday,
Great service but the food was okay imo. I’ve heard great things about their brunch menu so I’m pretty excited to come back for that I ordered the truffle gnocchi and couldn’t get over how earthy and buttery the plate was. It’s probably just my personal preference. The actual gnocchi was really goo
Nice resturant on King West. The atmosphere was nice with dim lighting. A bit loud to have conversations if the place is filled. Not much selection on the menu if you are a picky eater but we all found something we liked. The gnocchi and fried cauliflower were amazing. The waiter let us change our d
Went for some late brunch on a Sunday afternoon, they close early on Sundays but wasn't super busy. Hostess was nice to greet us and look for a table, but then forgot that we had been waiting and didn't seat us even when it was ready. The atmosphere is nice, it's a small and cozy place with nice lig
Came here for dinner - love that these are tapas and sharable plates. Dining room was quite noisy, not easy to talk I. Had meatballs, beef tongue gnocchi, mushroom salad and bikini sandwich (re: fancy grilled cheese). Salad and meatballs were probably my two favs from the night. The bikini sandw
Had a great brunch. Smashed avocado toast was brilliant as were the huevos. The spicy Caesar was delicious and oh so spicy
Cocktail wanderlust served by a guy who actually knows his stuff. Seafood pasta and cassava fries tasted nice. And I loved the restaurant playlist attached. Not many restaurants take songs seriously and to serve it together with good food!
Honestly the best pancakes I've had thus far. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. I'm not even a fan of lemon. However, the ways they went together I couldn't imagine it, without it. Great friendly hospitality as well. Will definitely be back.
This review is for the little cafe area that also serves pastries at the entrance of Portland Variety. These are honestly the best pastries you could get in the King West area. They may not look bedazzled, but gosh darn if they’re not the most scrumptious old-fashioned baked goodness. And sometimes
