District is a trendy restaurant which hosts a versatile menu full of foods from different parts of the world (each with its own unique a twist). The lavender lemonade drink was so innovative, it’s a must-try for sure! The food came out piping hot and full of flavour. The waitress was a gem! She made sure everyone was comfortable and went above and beyond to make our first experience at District as welcoming as possible. She noticed most of the items we ordered were vegetarians aside from one and came back over to our table to confirm whether bacon in the grilled cheese was in line with our dietary needs. She was incredibly thoughtful and displayed a high standard of customer services.

Went for dine in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasnt so busy but it took around 5 min for someone to notice us at the door waiting. The drinks were great and the server was nice. We ordered steak and mushroom sandwich and chicken sandwich. Steak was cooked to our liking and the chicken one was just a chicken sandwich nothing special that I would say I’ll order again. Im not sure what was the problem with songs and sound outside but it kept getting disconnected and connected again and it got a bit annoying at some point that it kept changing.

Awesome service... Yes we were the only people in the restaurant but I guess that's one of the positive side of the pandemic. Lovely staff, great food and the price was right.

Visited District a few times and it’s slowly becoming my go-to spot to grab drinks. The vibes are really nice, fun atmosphere, great music. The rooftop patio is stunning. Staff is really friendly and the service is great.
Price is $$. Will definitely continue to come back!

I have been to District restaurant many times and I like this place (the only one that offers kombucha ;))
The waitress Raquel was amazing!! She has fixed all the bed experience with good in a very professional and kind way. She was very proactive and easily understood what was happening.
P.s. if you are thinking about ordering “district bowl”, take a second thought;) you might regret it.
The three starts go to the waitress and the atmosphere. Unfortunately food isn’t the best there

The patio was cute and the service was great our waitress was super friendly! However I was kinda disappointed with the zucchini pasta, it just tasted like vegetables in tomato sauce which maybe I should have expected. The cashew white Russian also wasn't that great because it was mostly just cashew milk.

Normally, if I'm watching a film at the Lightbox or Scotiabank, I opt for the pubs in the neighbourhood rather than the posh restaurants for the post-film meal, where you can have a relaxed chat and sit for a while. District offers a good mix of both. The food is more adventurous than your regular pub fare (although it comes in smaller portions) and the beer selection is worth a try.

We stopped by District when we were in Toronto last week and overall had an amazing experience. The staff is great (shoutout to Brandon, he was hilarious) and the ambiance makes it feel cozy and trendy all at once. The cocktails are amazing! Definitely treat yourself and get one. The Serrano 6ix was perfect. We found the pull-apart cauliflower to be good value considering the size. The vegan style came with a beet bacon which was really interesting. The berry grilled cheese was the perfect compliment to the cocktail and delicious dinner on a hot afternoon. Great flavour all around. We will definitely come back.

Love this place! The staff, managers, bartenders, servers, etc. are so friendly and attentive. I’ve never had a bad service! Shoutout to the manager Taylor who was amazing and so accommodating the last time I visited. My favourite thing about District is the creative and unique selection of cocktails which are also crazy delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place with an awesome vibe in downtown Toronto!

Worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. Waited for a server. Had to order second round of drinks a second time, as they never showed up. Food was tasty, but lukewarm when it arrived. Then we were completely ignored and had to ask for our bill three times before it finally came. "Apology" for the delays was insincere and came from a different server than either of the other two that had "taken care" of us. Would not go back.

Decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat at lunch. Food was quite tasty, but portions a very small for the price. The steak sandwich was very good, but also ordered the roasted cauliflower as a side. For $5.75 I got 5 medium size fleurettes; I was expecting way more than that. Service was bad though. When I arrived there was no host/hostess so I had to peek into the kitchen and ask on of the chefs if I just seat myself. Finally was provided a table and then it took almost 30 minutes for my food to arrive even though the restaurant was practically dead. Literally saw 2 other tables that had people and that was it. Overall not impressed.

Food and drinks were okay. The service was slow, and the drinks arrived halfway through the meal. The restaurant wasn't that busy, but it still took the server 10 minutes to greet us and another 10 to get the bill.

The host sat us on the patio and we waited for almost 30 minutes without anyone taking our order so we left. We let the host know on our way out and he seemed indifferent about it.
