Always love my experiences here! Wonderful staff and management. Sitting at the bar at the Yonge and St Clair location sipping on the De Loach Zinfandel. Wine suggestion.... Pinot Noir please! A great lighter wine for warmer weather or really anytime!

Went with my aunt before she left for New Brunswick. She told me how they have the best burgers she has had in a while and so we decided to go and were not disappointed. I got the garlic shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. Will be coming back for sure.

We were here for winterlicious, had the Ceasar salad and chicken. Food was very good. Great atmosphere, food prices were reasonable. Service was good and waitress was good. Nice to see friendly staff for a change no Kim K waitresses. We enjoyed our experience and will be back for sure.

Amazing staff. Honestly. This is one of the few restaurants with very friend staff. The GM personally walks around to ask how everything is. And as a bonus the food is awesome :)
Went here for dinner and had the Steak and frites. The steak was made to order and it was delicious!! Tried the Social Dragon Roll and new Mahi-Mahi dish which were both stellar!!! Always a great atmosphere with even better service. A GREAT local favourite.

Came here for lunch yesterday and the place was bustling! A good sign. I ordered the bowtie pasta and it was jam packed with flavour, veggies and chicken. Although the chicken did taste like it may have been microwaved or reheated but the whole ensemble was really very good. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes.
Average to good eatery. Very loud. Solid and good food. We ate by the window where the open garage doors made the noise less. Our hamburger and garden salad were good.

Heading home from downtown, we stopped at Union Social Eatery on St Clair for dinner. We have been to a couple of their other locations, and sometimes it can get noisy. On this occasion, they were showing the Toronto FC winning the MLS championship, so the noise level was understandably higher.
SWMBO chose the Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders. This was a nice twist on the typical breaded chicken fingers. In this case the breading included crushed almonds, and the coating really sealed on the juices during the frying process, keeping the chicken nice and tender. The nuttiness of the almonds gave each bite a familiar, but different taste.
I opted for the Candy House Salad and added Grilled BBQ Chicken. The chicken was nice and tender, and the BBQ sauce had a pleasant tanginess. I thought the salad itself was more interesting than the chicken. The start with a base of mixed greens, then add crunchy sugared walnuts, chunks of sweet black figs, salty feta cheese, savory roasted red peppers, and then toss it in a maple-pommery vinaigrette. Finally, they add shavings of mango on top. This is not your boring garden salad.
In spite of the soccer game, which ended before we finished our meal, service was pretty good.
It's a chic and casual place ideal for afternoon lunches to chill with pals and take a break from a hectic life. It has an array of comfort food options available along with salads. The grande nachos and the pasta selection was amazing. I enjoyed the tortellini pasta and my friend loved the penne arabiatta. The almond crusted chicken offers another reason for revisiting the place.

This place has a spectacular menu with delicious food. I have tried many of the dishes from a fabulous burger to tacos that leave you wanting more. My only complaint is it is so loud that you can't hear yourself think!
Never had a bad meal here, and always great service. The food is always delicious, and if there has ever been an issue they take care of it without hesitation. The manager always stops to talk to us whenever we visit. Our favourite neighbourhood spot, by far.
Excellent place for steak in Midtown Toronto, right on the subway line. Menu and drink selection is great and the staff is incredible! Definitely go above and beyond to make your experience special.
This restaurant has top notch service. The jays game was on and 3 waitresses came by to make sure we had a good view when a bunch of people were standing in front of us. The manager also came by to make sure we were comfortable and took care of the appetizers we ordered. Food was good as well but based on service I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend friends to this place.
After a tough defeat for my ultimate frisbee team in the playoffs, we needed a drink to regroup. The good news is we have one more playoff game next week to redeem ourselves. Our home pub closed down early for the night after they revealed they had a washroom issue. Enough said. We decided to head back over to Yonge st and Union Social was right there. When we got there were still some tables left with a sparse crowd that was watching the Jays game. It is dimly lit but the seating is very comfortable with a clean decor. They have specials for each day of the week. Today they had $4 Sleeman bottles. That was music to my ears. They also had appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and other bar fare with a twist. For the twist, you pay about $2 more than your average run of the mill franchise bar. The service was excellent and a good time had by all.
I think the food is good but not great. It does come really quick. I would have given this 3.5 but their excellent service and attention to detail is really above grade. Filling lunch as well! I would return to this location again
Food is pretty good; nothing special, but it tastes good. Service is terrific. The waitress told the owner and/or manager that it was our first time there, so he brought out their Mediterranean dip sampler, with three different kinds of dips with naan bread and homemade chips. Good beer selection and fresh too.
I will be visiting their Yonge/Sheppard location when it opens for sure.
This restaurant is a must try! Their drinks are delicious and the staff is super friendly. The manager heard it was our first time visiting and brought us out a free appetizer of nachos!I had the steak sandwich with fries (thin cut - my fav) and it hit the spot. We also started with the sushi but it wasn't very good. We ordered the poutine for the table and it was gigantic. Needless to say the guys loved it.
The atmosphere was great as well - good for a small gathering or a date!
Great food but not to accessible. Our party of four loved the food and atmosphere. Our server was friendly and we never had to wait for anything. We let them know ahead of time that we needed low sodium since me and my friend are wait for heart transplant. However their washrooms where in the basement. Which made it very difficult for my friend and I who get very short of breath when climbing stairs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who does not have any health issues.
Finally a casual place where I can hang out. Food amazing, service amazing and the place is lightyears better than the last. Will definitely be a regular.
The Union Social Eatery is what I am going to talk about in this post (and man I am ever excited). This place has done the near impossible and made it onto my "Gotta Go Back ASAP aka my GGBA" list and has secured a special spot in my heart next to Stack and under The Senator restaurant. I gotta say, I was pretty ecstatic about finding this place and bringing my dining buddies to it.

Stayed for a leisurely brunch with fantastic service the whole time. Enjoyed bottomless coffee paired with excellent eggs benedict over smoked salmon. Balanced and flavourful, they paired beautifully with some of the best breakfast potatoes around! Crispy with a hint of rosemary - I'd come back just for these!
Stepped in for lunch today and it was busy! I always see people coming in and out of here so we decided to check it out since a few of us wanted to venture out for lunch.
The service was great, but once we ordered the food did take awhile to get to our table. The server was nice enough to update us and apologized profusely so I thought that was nice.
I order the mushroom burger, but on a veggie patty. It was fabulous! One of the best veggie burgers I've had and probably one of the largest too. Won't be feeling hungry anytime soon!
What made it great was that it was nice and soft, melted in your mouth and was super savoury!
The table next to us ordered tacos and they looked real tasty, might have to go back and give those a try!
Great food and excellent quality for the price. The fries were a pleasant surprise since they really tasted homemade and were not overly greasy yet would’ve benefited from a little more seasoning. There were no salt and pepper shakers to adjust seasoning to taste. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The roasted mushroom beef burger was delicious and the herbed spinach salad was fresh and tasty. I ordered extra avocado and the rare seared big eye ahi tuna as an added protein with my salad. The tuna was a great addition and worth the extra charge. For dessert, the waiter recommended the fresh baked chocolate chunk soft cookies with ice cream and caramel drizzle which we enjoyed very much. We also tried the shrimp tacos entrée which we devoured before even having a chance to snap a picture. However, we waited a fair bit of time before getting our plates and the terrace is nice but it’s located in a very busy area with lots of traffic.
Fantastic!!! We went to our first company lunch in two years and we had a great time. They gave us a table at the back away from the rest of the dining room and the server was absolutely amazing; attentive, kind and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The manager of the place who booked our reservation was also lovely. We will definitely be back for more company outings!
We came with no reservation and the host was very nice, and found a place for us in no time. The place itself looks amazing. The drinks were very good. The staff were all nice and informative. The manager, Astha, came over to check on us and make sure we were having a good time. We had a great conversation, and it made my night. Definitely can't wait to go back.
Always a great atmosphere, they had the large front doors rolled up for summer which is nice to sit with a light breeze and some natural light. The staff are super helpful and polite, genuinely nice. Nachos were amazing, one of the best I’ve had and I love the space invader IPA. Highly recommend
