We showed up and the downstairs was full, we didn't even realize there was an upstairs, but the server said she would open it for us so we didn't have to wait. Food was cheap and great. Everything had such a unique taste to it. The server was also low key funny, we enjoyed how laid back she was with us.

Food was excellent... Hostess/ waitress was delightful... the Cure was playing quietly in the background so it made my experience that much more nostalgic amongst all the formica kitchebette tables and vinyl covered seats...it was worth the wait in line...

I have been going to Aunties & Uncles every weekend for breakfast for at least ten years and the food and service is consistently good. They were doing seasonal, homemade food before it was fashionable. Every item on the plate tastes good.

I hate waiting...I'm not a patient guy. Couple that with waiting with 2 young kids on a Sunday morning who are also not very patient and, you've got yourself a recipe for disaster. We had to wait over an hour to have breakfast and we weren't happy. But, I had a feeling about this place so, we stuck it out. Once we got in, we discovered the coolest little vintage restaurant I've ever seen. It's only a few tables, only takes cash, and feels a bit cramped but, the waitress was friendly and courteous and, most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! If you want somewhere where you get in right away and get super fast service, go to MacDonalds...if you want an authentic home cooked breakfast in a unique environment, go early, bring a good book and expect to wait. That's ok, I promise you it's worth it!

A delightful retro place to have breakfast/lunch. The service was friendly and attentive. The omelette I had was delicious and the challah toast, wow!

Yes, you have to wait a bit to get in, and yes, it's small.....but that's the fun of it all. Food is delicious, service has always been great! Nice vintage decorating and very hipster clientele.

First time here. We were early, lined up just before they opened and got a good table. Service and food is excellent. I didn't realize that there was a huge line up outside in the cold and we were finished but taking our time talking when the server, very pleasant and apologetic asked us if we could release the table. We were two sitting at a table for four. We left right away. I will go back. Bit a note that on a Sunday morning it is not a place to spend a long time and talk and catch up with friends. Just eat and run.

Just steps from college and bathurst you'll find this awesome brunch diner. The spot is very popular, so there are seating wait times from time to time. I was lucky enough to be in the neighborhood on a Monday, so I did not have to wait for a seat, but there were still plenty of customers. Has a front patio with plenty of seating, great for warm days. Awesome food selection. Tempted by the pancakes, but had scrambled eggs with peameal bacon, toast and cottage cheese for just under $10. Excellent service, quick, polite, and attentive. Great diner atmosphere and decor. Would highly recommend.

Very lovely place. Nice staff. Brunch 7days. I tasted the banana pancakes and they are really good. All other dishes seemed very tasty. I suggest to visit.

Delicious brunch, super indulgent and satisfying! This small place is always packed on weekends so if you're free on a weekday, get yourself there immediately! Good choice of co.fort food brunch and their potato salad is the perfect balance of creamy and Dill. The decor is eclectic and vintage-chic and I love that their menu incorporates old catalog pages. Very Canadiana vibe to it and theres a bug patio to enjoy in the summer.

What a lovey hidden spot! And what a perfect brunch, well balanced, flavourful. All three of us had the Grand Slam, and without any regret. With a taste of little bit of everything, we know they have great recipes. The eggs were fluffy and rightly done, the bacon was perfectly cooked with just enough crisp and a nice maple finish. The arugula and spinach salad gave a little freshness to it, along with perfectly seasoned potatoes and very tasty bread brioché. The blueberry pancake was unfortunately undercook for all three of us, but with one or two minute more, it would have been perfect. The portions were also just right. You’ll be full, but won’t regret your life choices. A perfect brunch at a very affordable price, in a lovely but corky décor. The “COVID” menu has a lot to offer and we can’t wait to come back!
