The service was very good. Friendly and attentive waiter. The food arrived at the table hot which was appreciated. The stuffed chicken breast with goat cheese and spinach was excellent. My wife and I would definitely eat here again.
The food was great, the service was great and the prices were really really reasonable. I'll go back for sure. Highly recommend the seafood linguine and the shrimp cocktail.
The atmosphere was wonderful, service was great and the food was fabulous!! Had the seafood linguini and there was so much seafood and clams it was perfectly done!! Will definitely come back
Service was great and the dished we selected tasted great!
Nice atmosphere, staff, yammi food, just a bit pricey
It's just a fantastic plase to go to , as soon as you enter, your greeted by very polite and well mannered staff, and even if the restaurant is fool they will acomodare you , the atmosphere immediately becomes cuddly and warm and than all of a sudden the atmosphere becames magic music, live music is playing a real musicians and than you hear a voice a wonderful voice singing and you get wrapped up completely by him and his song's the owner Mr Frank D'Angelo ,the food is squisite its a plase wear I would bring anny person that I would like to impress, wonderful peapole. Just love it.
The surf and turf (have the steak rare) is a must try. The best steak we had in a looooong time.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. Had a memorable first visit. We will definitely be returning. Perfect location in the theater district.
Amazing food, great prices and Service was excellent!! Thank you!
By far the best Veal Scaloppini I have ever tasted. Will most definitely come back when we are in Toronto again
I never write reviews. This restaurant deserved a review. It was so good we came back the next night. The food is first class whether it is steak, fish or pasta. The service struck the perfect balance between helpfulness and letting the food speak for itself. Treat yourself to a memorable meal!
I'm going to be honest - I don't get thee negativity I've seen in other reviews about this place based on our experience. I was here for dinner with my wife before heading to the theatre on Saturday and it was all around excellent.
I like other places on the block but the menu looked good so we thought we'd try it.
Service was top shelf - quick and courteous but not intrusive. Excellent wine list (beer options were thin but you don't come here for the beer taps). Food was well prepared and minimal wait. We had risotto and a mushroom pasta dish and both were very good. The desserts were also very good.
It's not cheap, although quite competitive for the district- $120 for two bar and tip in. And despite some of the other haters, worth every penny.
Ambiance/Decor:
We were approached by an older gentlemen outside while we were looking at the menu. He told us that they had a great deal for 3 course for $25 a person. He led us inside and seated us wherever we wanted.
The place is very nice, there are sheer curtains seperating the booths so it feels intimate. The lights were dimmed and it felt cozy in the booth.
Food:
We decided to order other food instead of choosing from the limited $25 deal. They bring over fresh bread which was very tasty and warm.
The chicken parmigiano comes with grated beets which to my suprise wasn't that bad. The veggies and potatoes were done very well. However, there were times where I questioned if the chicken was undercooked. The texture was just wierd, it was chewy, hard yet slimy all in one.
The other item we tried was the Arrabbiata which was decent but not as spicy as other places.
Though they look small, the portions were just right not too filling and not leaving you hungry.
Staff:
Very attentive and nice.
Went here for my parents 50th Apr 9th & really glad we did. Fantastic meal, great service and great value too. Would definitely & gladly eat here again. Highly recommended.
This is one of my most favourite restaurants for italian food
The service is awesome , decoration inside fits the ambiance and most importantly the food is great.
All the right flavors
Moreover the deserts are great, everything is made in house and fresh which really reflects in the flavor of the dish. Most definitely a must go spot and I do recommend everyone to try it.
Excellent food! Crusted salmon was exceptional as well as the salad. Prix fixe was $25.00 and the decor was amazing!
Exceeded Expectations. Well trained and committed staff did an excellent job. Relatively conservative menu with standard Italian fare but the food was excellent. French onion soup a superb choice as was the Tiramisu as a closer. The wine menu included a decent selection of reasonably priced options (not always true in the city core). This was a great way to dine just prior to our 8:00 pm show.
Would highly recommend.
One of the most tasty meals I have ever eaten. The minestrone was wonderful and the tortellini with Gorgonzola sauce was outstanding. Good service, good music, good wine list. Had a great meal!
The food was good but quite expensive. The service was very slow and I think the server "forgot" to place our entree order. It took over 45 min. Now I know why they named it "Forget About It'.
Would probably not go back though the food was okay but not great.

+4.5
Excellent service. The sweetest waiter. Two of the three us had pasta; really very good. The third of us had pizza, not bad, not great.
I would say the food overall was good in some areas and not so good in others. I’m not sure if I would return again to this restaurant or just FORGET ABOUT IT. (Who names their restaurant this anyway?)
Quaint place with delicious taste of genuine authentic Italian cuisine and ambiance, as if you entered an English speaking version of Roma. Mouth watering entrées, savoury soups, and delectable desserts. The lasagna would be fit for King Garfield, with the option of having eggplants or beef. The bracioli is a great combination of cheese, spinach, veal, greens, and potatoes. Crème caramel was nice and fluffy, and the tiramisu is true to its refreshing coffee & wine taste. The lighting is very low, but otherwise the dining experience was excellent.
This King St. restaurant is just steps west of the Royal Alex and Princess of Wales theatres and distinguished itself by a friendly, talkative, older gentlemen who positioned himself on the sidewalk and conversed with potential diners explaining the menu, specials and service. We had about an hour to spare before our theatre schedule so decided to give the attractively priced, three course dinner special, a try. Our table of 4 was served within 15 minutes of ordering. The garlic bread was excellent but I thought the tomato salad serving size was a bit skimpy.
By the time I finished the main meal I was full, even though I thought the salmon serving quite small. The food flavour was outstanding. My wife ordered the squash soup and chicken meal. Her soup was very good and the chicken was extremely tasty.
Service was both professional and prompt. The silverware and table cloth were fresh and clean. The washrooms were down stairs and I'm not sure how a wheelchair would be accomodated and if this could be an issue for your party you should phone the restaurant and check.
We all loved the food and will return to 'Forget About It' to enjoy the restaurant again.
We dined here on Saturday night and had a wonderful time. All of the staff were wonderful, our waiter especially. He was very kind, attentive, made suggestions and catered to our needs. Each member of our party had different entrees and all were very good, beautifully plated and served. The flavours were perfect! We also enjoyed the ambiance. The environment was conducive to having a really nice time. We happened into this restaurant just walking by, but we will definitely visit again.
My Wife and I dropped into Forget About It for diner before going to see Blythe Spirit
The service was excellent and the meal was outstanding. The salad appetizer was very good. I had the stuffed chicken which was tasty and not dried out. My wife had the salmon and it was done to perfection. We both had the tiramisu and it was light and tasty. The atmosphere is quiet and spacious.
AMAZING. Everything was above par, the food was excellent, all the meat was of the highest quality and the veggies were fresh. They had pizza, pasta, soups, salads, steak, etc and it was all made fresh from scratch in the kitchen! I was very impressed with the very kind service, they were very very attentive. Because all the food's prepared on site (unlike some of the other restaurants) it took a little while longer, but it gave us time to just sit and relax, enjoying the beautifully decorated place. They have great booths for little kids and the tables are large and comfortable. I will NEVER stop going there!
Visited long time ago and it was average then. Tried it again today on their special and regular menu.
Asparagus soup was great, chicken pasta was tasty, didn’t like the lemon cake as much. Hubby ordered veal scallopini, taste great! I ordered shrimp risotto very pleasant as well.
Will return for sure!
Right in the theatre district, we went on a Thurs eve 730 pm, not busy at all, quiet, easy to talk, food was great, had Caesar salads, veggie angel hair pasta and tortellini, food was very tasty, were given the complementary pizza appetizers which we thought were very good. Overall great value for the money as we each had a glass of wine and bill was about $30. Would return and would recommend. And service was great.
