Great burger, really tasty! Don't really know if I would call it the best burger in the city, but you should definitely try it, in my opinion it was a bit expensive... The fries could have been a bit crispier, but overall a good experience.

I first heard of Burger's Priest through Instagram and then through word of mouth and when my sister and I were famished and walking through Spadina looking for a place to grab a bite, we immediately didnt think twice before entering BP.
I ordered the veggie burger and to my surprise, it is, to this point, the most delicious veggie burger I ever tasted in my life. Not Joking. If you are a vegetarian and your friend wants a burger, go to BP and get the veggie burger, you are going to lick your fingers after it. The fries portion is generous, yet bit too oily to my taste.
Overall experience  ; recommended.

Ate The priest double beef cheese burger and The token with my friend. The cashier is friendly and helpful. Have to say however "the token" is way bad than we expected. Looks totally different with the picture hanged on. It's small and shabby.

Not a Fan of Mother Junk but went to this place after great reviews as one of the best places in TO for burgers.
Tried the Veggie burger. AWWWWsomee...The veggie patty had spinach and mushrooms and the cheese along with almost fried buns...you can customize a lot of stuff here..There is also a secret menu which is not there on the menu so you can go and ask about it and have a kick ass 3000 Kcal burger!! But yes..Junk tastes good coz its bad for you!!

I heard about this place from z103.5 and my buddies from the city so I had to try it.

I have been touched by the burger priest !!!! Holy the best burger I have tried and I'm the type of guy who goes out of my way to try burgers. I live and Barrie and I went to Toronto to try it out. Now I learnt that the burger priest is coming to my city.

It time to Introduce to place to some friends and family

Good food, fair price, good people

Awesome place

Being a major foodie, I had yet to try Burger's Priest. So I finally decided to try this place and the hype is definitely real. I ordered the Pope burger which is basically the Priest with an extra patty which came up to about $16. The price is definitely on the higher end of burgers. The burger was quite good and flavours were spot on. After this experience, I've become a big fan of their burgers. Overall, it was a pretty good dining experience and I would definitely go back again and again to try their other burgers especially the ones on the secret menu.

Love it! Really good burger for the price, though it's pretty small. I wish I came back for the last time before leaving Toronto. But it's def a good go to place!

Overall, the burgers here were quite yummy, although not the best burger I've had. The burgers were juicy and a good thickness. I liked the Priest burger better than the Magnum as it was more unique with the panko portabello. The fries were crispy and fresh, although nothing particularly special or memorable.

One suggestion for this joint is to include some coat hangers, especially during the winter season, as it was a bit awkward trying to find space for it while sitting on the small stools.

The food here was the bomb! Best burger I had at Toronto. I had the vegetarian burger and it was just breath taking . I would definitely come back to eat here once I visit again. The crew needs a but of cheering up tho, they were nice but they seemed low on energy. Overall it was really good

Burgers priest is our absolute favourite burger joint ever! Hands down...the best! This location is a little small but still amazing! My favourite is the High Priest. Similar to that of a McDonalds Big Mac but soooooooo much better!!!

This isn't the best burger place in the city, but it's still a pretty good burger for the price. If you plan to go here, there are some things I should warn you about. First, the place is very small so it will get cramped during peak hours. This is also a cash only establishment, so plan accordingly.

I had the Vatican City and Vatican on Ice. I prefered the later since it was a unique combination of grilled cheese and ice cream, while the Vatican City tasted slightly better than any other burger I could have gotten in the city.

Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good cheap burger.

Best burger in town in my opinion! I always go for the basic cheeseburger unless I'm super hungry I order the High Priest (which is their take on a Big Mac). Some of their burgers look triple the size of a regular burger! Be prepared to take out since most of the locations have little to no seating. A must try if you ask me!! Delicious!!

Juicy tender beef. Definitely the best burger in town. I'd recommend the California Classic. Those buttered buns are too die for! My friend had the the Priest burger and loved their mushroom topping. It's a MUST VISIT!

The priest is a must try and that's the burger with the option. People love to hate the priest for different reasons but mostly because a lot of people like it and it's popular.

Yes it's pricier than McDonald's but it's also better, with fresh ingredients and a real bun. It also allows your body to digest it which is a plus. Yes, you'll have to wait in line because they don't have the fast food system worked in so they actually cook the burger and the demand for them is high. I find that it's worth the wait and so will you.

If you're going to try it, get the option on top to experience this in all of its glory. Yes, the burger isn't huge but do you really want to ingest a burger with more than 800 calories? I think a line must be drawn, even for a gourmande such as myself. Enjoy!

Went for some late night eats at Burger's Priest and left completely satisfied.

The staff was so friendly and patient with us when my friend didn't realize it was a cashless place. They let her place her order and began preparing it while she ran down the street to her ATM.

I ordered the high priest. Calling it a massive high class Big Mac would not begin to do this burger justice. Everything just tasted so fresh and juicy. I ordered fries on the side but was so stuffed from my burger that I could only manage to scarf down a handful.

I also tried their cherry creamsicle which was both an awesome drink and dessert all in one.

So sad I won't be able to have these burgers back in the states.

0 By Marc Smith on 29 April, 2015 Where to Eat/Drink Share This Post Food is my religion, and I pray at the altar at least five times a week! While I love a light and summery salad or a hearty roast beef or lip-smacking ribs, one of my biggest guilty pleasures is a burger. You know what I’m talking about, a juicy flavourful beef patty, soft bun, crisp lettuce and tomatoes and if I’m feeling decadent two slices of crisp bacon over top of melted golden cheddar cheese. OMG, I’m hungry just thinking about it. So here I am in Toronto, and I’ve got a craving for a quick ass burger but I don’t now where to go. First I look online, and then I query my Toronto friends. The questions I ask is “If you could only eat at one burger place in Toronto, what would it be” They all answered with the same name, and it is The Burger’s Priest , the best burger in Toronto as polled by my friends. I never argue with such overwhelming  feedback so off I go on my pilgrimage to eat the best burger in Toronto. The Bu

A number of my colleagues were speaking highly of this place, so decided to give it a try. Burger's Priest definitely lived up to the hype built around it. Had High Burger with reg. fries. To keep it short - meaty, zesty and flavorful. Noticed a number of guests went for the Vatican burger. It's a very busy place, at least the one on Queen W., so make sure you're not in a rush while coming here.

Today was my first time here (I have no idea why I waited so long) and all I can say is I can't wait to go back! I got the California Burger (single patty because I didn't want to fall asleep when I got back to the office) and it was perfect. The patty was full of flavour, the sauce was amazing and the caramelized onions were a nice touch. Fries were supper yummy but I barely had space because the burger was so filling. Looking forward to going back and trying something else on the menu:)

They do NOT have "gluten free" options.. This location is small and usually busy, but the food is good, service is fast and friendly, prices are average for one of these "fancy burger shops". Some people are complaining about a 10 min wait for their burgers, well I'd rather wait 10 mins then have some pre-cooked patty that has been sitting for who knows how long.

One thing I didn't like- they advertise "gluten free"(see above) but when my GF asked, they said they only had a "low gluten bun" or "lettuce wrap" instead of a bun- that is NOT gluten free! That is a bun with "low gluten" or NO bun...
A lot of fancy burger joints are offering a gluten free buns, if Burger Priest wants to stand out, they should step up.

A good burger. I had a cheeseburger and some fries. The the cheese was breaded and deep fried which was a surprise. The flavours were good. It's a bit expensive for a burger ($12-16), but it's a good place to go with friends when you're shopping along Queen Street.

Good burger. - The burger is good, check their website before going if you want one of their secret menu burgers (but be prepared to pay additional).
- It's hard to get a seat and the line up is long. Annoying but not the restaurant's fault.
- They are not gluten free as the profile suggest, just gluten reduced.
- Their biggest flaw is not taking debit or credit when you're likely going to spend $15+ here and not a few dollars.

Her burger would definitely make your mouth water, but it’s a tad difficult to devour. Two roasted portabella mushrooms, breaded and deep fried, sounds pretty tasty. The burger patty was sufficient and the buns were soft. The size of the burger was the perfect amount for me – but I’m a pretty small eater. Seating is very limited, but most of their customers just take it to go. The interiors are bright with white walls and black accents and fixtures. The kitchen sits along side the ordering and waiting area. Burger’s Priest is a convenient place to grab a quick bite, their fries are crunchy and fresh!

A while back, we visited The Burger’s Priest for the first time. I don’t know why it was that we hadn’t gone there considering our burger love and the hype but I guess the Queen East location was too far so we went to the one on Queen West.

In case you didn’t know, Burger’s Priest has a regular menu displayed at their restaurant but they also have various secret options that are available for those who dare to venture.

Nash ordered The Tower of Babel. Yes, all the burgers have rather biblical names. Between two grilled cheese sandwiches were two beef burgers, lettuce, tomato and the veggie burger deemed “the option”. Why on earth would you want a veggie burger AND meat patties you might ask? Well, their version of a “veggie burger” is a custom blend of cheesygoodness sandwiched between two portabello mushrooms AND deep fried. Yes that’s why. After eating this, you’d probably end up needing to pray for your survival.

IMG_9267I ordered the less scary Holy Smokes. It was a double cheeseburger with deep fried jalapenos. The kick and crunch were a very nice addition.

IMG_9268It was very unnecessary to do this, but I ordered the chilli cheese fries. Because why not? They were oozing with cheese.

If you ever need a serious splurge of calories. Burger’s Priest is definitely the place to be.

For someone who doesn't crave burgers (I'm more of pizza gal) the amount of saliva that fills my mouth when someone mentions Priest is Pavlovian. The portions are smaller than your standard size whopper because these gems are actually made with quality ingredients and a whole lot of TLC. Plus if you add the "option" (which is more a must than a recommendation) and fries then you should be sufficiently suffonsified. Only downside is that seating is limited (and they only took cash last time I was there but it could have changed). Totally a TO foodie bucket list must!

I ordered a vegetarian burger and my friend something else. Mine came out in 5 mins and hers in 1/2 hour. I was very surprised by the small portions of my burger. It hardly filled me up but at least it tasted good. The seating arrangement is very uncomfortable but I think thats on purpose. They want the crowd to keep moving I suppose.

I really do like Burger's Priest, and I'm glad that their food seems to be rather consistent across locations. I almost always order the Option - the vegetarian burger (even though I'm not even remotely vegetarian). It's so good, deep fried portobello mushrooms and almost too much cheese (is there such a thing?). The food is really heavy, so the burger really fills me up and slows me down. It's so worth it though. Maybe next time I'll try a different burger... but probably not. The Option all the way!

Absolutely sinful, this is not the place to go if you're thinking of diet food. I got the single California Classic and it was cheesy and delicious. The only downside is that the restaurant itself is quite tiny, and gets ridiculously crowded at lunchtime. Seating is minimal, so plan to grab and go!

Amazing burgers - not sure what else needs to be said.  This place had been hyped up prior to my arrival in Toronto, and I can confirm without hesitation that it has lived up to the hype.  I was impressed with the standard options before even discovering that there was a [delicious] secret menu.  Only thing to note is that this place get PACKED during the lunch rush [shocker], so keep that in mind if you're heading here expecting to grab a quick lunch.  Typically end up waiting an upwards of fifteen minutes.  Quite worth the wait, though!

THE BEST BURGER IN TORONTO. OH WAIT, THE BEST BURGER IN ONTARIO. WELL, CANADA. OKAY, THE WORLD!!

I am OBSESSED with The Burger's Priest. Obsessed. During my one month stay in Toronto, I ate here 12 times. Twelve. Yes, you read it right.

I could endlessly named all the burgers that I had there. But my fave is The Religious Hypocrite. You won't find this menu on the menu board, because it was in their SECRET MENU. OH HO SORRY TO SPILL YOUR SECRET, BURGER'S PRIEST! :P But seriously, anyone who read this review should check out their official website and see their secret menu selections.

The burger contains their signature Option Patty (melted cheese and mushroom patty) and bacon. I usually add double bacon to the burger, you know, just for the sake of bacon.

The other thing I like off-the-menu is The Vatican City. My fave from their regular menu is The Priest. Signature chocolate milkshake was also awesome.

This place is the highlight of my Canada trip.

Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Price: 5/5

If there's one place that's been hyped in the right way, it's The Burger's Priest. They have an array of burgers to choose from. I ordered the California Classic. You don't want to eat the burger in the middle of office hours because as small as it may look, it's amazingly greasy and heavy. The bun is toasted well and has melted cheese in it. The beef patty is cooked well and even though it's the simplest of ingredients put together, the burger is tastes like heaven! We also got the Chili Cheese Fries which are SO good.If you plan to go there during lunch hours, be ready to wait for at least 20 mins because it gets really crowded. So if you plan your trip to The Burger's Priest, you could probably get your burger in 10 mins flat!A very interesting fact about The Burger's Priest is their Secret Menu, which has even better sounding and looking burgers. Look it up online and you'll find it!

I’d give BP a 4 but for the cramped interior. The restaurant is always full to bursting when I go there. To be fair the burgers are damn good. The problem is that with so many people, it’s difficult to get your burger hot, much less a place to eat it. If you’re in the neighbour-hood and it’s not lunch/dinner time, definitely check it out.

Lunch Time madness. We needed something to eat. How can we resist the extremely yummy burger priest right around the corner. Contrary to other days, there wasn’t a long line, and we quickly placed our orders. I ordered a California Cheese Burger with fries and drink. Burger was yummy and cheesy. Next time maybe I should try out the burger they recommended, i.e, the High Priest.

I probably made a mistake in ordering the veggie option and I'm not saying it was bad. It was good but nothing special. The patty consisted in cheese and a Portobello mushroom accompanied by some slices of tomatoes and onions. The fries weren't crispy and lunchtime is crazy there. I will go back to try other burgers but I found other places to be much better than this one.

If you’re in for something a little hearty and filling, a burger will get you where you want to go. Thanks to my cousins D and A for telling me about the awesome Burger’s Priest at Queen Street West. Just one several locations popping up all over the city! The posted menus are small and basic, if you really want to try the real menu, spend a little time online looking for their secret menu of burger options. I chickened out and got the basic cheeseburger above to which you can add a myriad of free toppings or extras like sliced bacon for a dollar or two more.

My cousin D went all out and ordered the secret menu item the Vatican City Burger. And what is this burger exactly? That’s a double cheeseburger in the loving embrace of two grill cheese sandwiches acting as the buns. Wow. What you see is the mild mannered Clark Kent personality, what you taste is the Superman of flavours, custom made to your liking.

So what do you think? Is a burger for brunch in your future? If it is, let me know what you think of the Vatican City On Ice (An ice cream sandwich with, you guessed it, two grill cheese sandwiches instead of cookies!)

Burgers Priest is hands down the best burger place ever. The burgers are mind blowing and the meat is juicy with loads of flavor. The chilli fries are something you would not want miss although you may take forever to finish them, sharing it with your friends might help and  the pricing is not too high . But The place is kind of tiny and you are lucky if you get a seat.
