A new Mimico gem! It's places like this that make it possible to avoid the trip downtown but still get great food. My family was thoroughly impressed with the service, food and value. The pizzas are amazing... But the fresh made pasta is a must try! I am a sucker for an authentic ceasar salad and this did not disappoint. Extremely excited to be within walking distance of this place!
You want to eat here. Try the Ortelana with prosciutto and some fresh marinara, have the ravioli and the veal, finish it off with the ice cream and wash it all down with an aperol. This place is a huge win for Humber Shores, we've eaten there four times since July and have always left with a smile from ear to ear.
Finally made it in to try this place last week. We tried two different pizzas and WOW! Might be the best pizza I've ever had in my life. It's also a very nice place with friendly staff.
So I visited this place in September this year. It is fairly close to my house and whenever I used to walk past it, it seemed to be packed. I looked it up on the internet, and it had a really high rating on Google.
So I along with friends decided to go here on a September weekend. To being with, it was jam packed.
We had to wait a bit to get ourselves a table.
When we finally got seated, we discovered that the place did not serve chicken (I wasn't aware of the fact that Italians don't like chicken on pizza). Since neither of us ate beef or pork, we ended up ordering 2 margheritas.
Prices were on the higher side,
Pizza's came in from a wood fired oven, as fresh as they could me.
Not overly impressed by the food, but seeing the crowd I realized it wasn't my type of Pizza. Maybe the people who are fond of authentic Italian pizzas would love this place.
Great place to in the Mimico part of Etobicoke. Authentic wood burning oven Naples style pizzas are served here. I would try the Vesuzio - very tasty.
