Fantastic i had veal Ptarmigan with spaghetti garluc bread my man had mussels french onion soup and escargot brushetta absolutely fabulous and really reasonably priced
My wife and I dropped in this-past December and it was great. I big improvement from a year ago. Remezzo’s will now be on my favourites list. Hopefully forever!

Located at Warden and Sheppard, in the same plaza as McDonald’s and FoodyMart Supermarket, I’ve always passed by Remezzo Italian Bistro and have never walked in… until recently that is. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was bigger than I thought! I had also envisioned the restaurant to be a little outdated on their decor, but it didn’t look as bad as I had envisioned either.

Remezzo has been in the corner neighborhood for over two decades. The fact any restaurant has history that long shows stamina and worth an applaus. Remezzo offers a casual Italian dining experience and the menu includes a lot of Italian favourites! 😊
The menu ranges from classic pastas, stone oven pizzas and daily specials that offers an abundance of choice! On the day I visited the specials were written and showcased in the front of the restaurant : there was sea bass to ribs, from specialty pastas to steaks. Everyone is bound to find something to tickle their fancy.
I decided on the angel hair agli olio, stone oven meat lovers pizza and the classic spaghetti bolognese with meat balls. Yum! The angel hair pasta was heavenly. It was tossed in olive garlic oil, flavorful sundried tomatoes and topped with succulent chicken breast. Although I cannot say the noodles were 'al dente', as it's not the style at Remezzo's. Remezzo's hosts a more casual home style Italian cooking experience. The stone oven pizza was devine. Loads of meat and rich in flavor. I'm not a huge pizza fan but I quite enjoyed this 🍕. The classic spaghetti bolognese with meat balls was super yummy. There were huge meat balls and the sauce was very rich and 'tomatoey'! 😆
I really wanted to try the tiramisu to end off this satisfying Italian meal but I was very full and could not eat another strand of noodle!🍝😄! I will definitely return back. I loved the old fashion bistro ambience and the staff were pleasant and warm. What else can I ask for? 😊❤..🍕🍝🌷👍...
We met some friends for dinner at Remezzo's a couple of days before New Years. We had not been here for a few years, and things had not changed much, which is a good thing. Good Italian food, and good service.
We started the meal by sharing a small Caesar Salad. Then SWMBO chose one of her standbys for an Italian restaurant: Chicken Parmigiana. Tender, breaded chicken, smothered with melted mozzarella. I had the Fettuccini Alla Napolitana, which was shrimp and crabmeat with pasta in a white wine cream sauce. I just about licked the plate to get the last bit of sauce. We finished off the meal by sharing a piece of Chocolate Truffle cake, which did the job in satisfying our chocoholic desires.
Top italian restaurant in scarborough. Don't let the old fashion decoration and the mostly senior customers fool you, the food is great and the service is awesome. The staff is friendly, polite, fast and accommodating.
I eat at this spot pretty often (manicotti, yumms) they have never disappointed me. As a friend says " you can buy good italian food, but you can't buy good service."
I have been coming to this place with my family for years for tasty Italian food. The restaurant is family friendly with many options on the menu to choose from and has large portions.
Last night, I came here with my parents. For 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and 2 desserts it was just under $100.
We ordered the calamari and a caesar salad to share. The calamari was a little too greasy for my liking.
The caesar salad was a little bland. It was nothing special and I wasn't a fan of the bacon on top.
My chicken fettuccini Alfredo was good. The chicken was grilled and was delicious with fresh ground pepper.
My mom's pasta special: spaghetti with clams and shrimps in an olive oil based sauce was bland.
The Louisiana pasta: chorizo and shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce was also pretty tasty. My dad enjoyed his meal.
For dessert we ordered a caramel crunch cake and a carrot cake.
The caramel crunch cake was from La Rocha. It was fresh and super light.
The carrot cake was nothing to write home about.

My work always host our annual dinner here on the Saturday over Father's Day weekend. Even with our group of over 15 with a full restaurant, our food has always been good and service excellent.
Grilled Veal Chop, New York Striploin, Filet Mignon under $30 all cooked perfectly medium rare.
Coconut Shrimp and Calamari still my favourite appetitizers.
And of course dessert.
Sour Apple Martini at $7? after all these years definitely a deal.
Veal Or Chicken Parmigiana. Veal Parmigiana was really good. Would recommend dining out here.
Not bad. It has comforting home-style decor and decent food. My linguine di mare (seafood pasta) was absolutely delicious! The sauce was perfect, I'm craving it as we speak. However, my boyfriend's meat lover pizza was less than impressive. Being an authentic Italian restaurant, we expected thin-crust pizza. But instead it was very thick, doughy and if it's any indication, it reminded me of "Chuckeecheese pizza". Overall it was a good experience and I'm definitely going to order that pasta again!
Fantastic food...excellent service. Best Caesar salad ever. Pizza is thin crust and fresh ingredients. Pasta dishes excellent. Fish, chicken or steak perfectly done. All servers are great but Helen is THE BEST.
Best Kept Secret. I came to Remezzo for the first time as a guest for an office co-workers' birthday. I didn't think much of the exterior, but what a pleasant surprise once I walked inside. It is a classy large restaurant with old world charm. Staff was friendly and the owners very cool. I had the Chicken Pesto pizza and the tiramisu. Both were exceptional. Will return for dinner one night.
I had the special of the day which was whole wheat spagheti in a tomato sauce, it was okay. I plan to go back and hopefully find something that really wows me

It's been at the exact same location for over 40 years.
It's been through one beautiful renovation.
Everything around it has changed, but this small sanctuary of consistent comfort has not.
When my friends and I think of eating out in this neck of the woods, we all agree on Remezzo. One particular gal pal and I have on many occasions, celebrated our mutual birthdays here and I have had many family gatherings and business lunches here over the years.
Remezzo has the best Greek salad I have ever had and their spaghetti and meatballs is superb!
I am definitely a loyal fan.
If you need an indulgent place to satisfy your Italian cravings, head to Remezzo. You won't be disappointed.
