Black Camel - Toronto - Photo album

I’ve been wanting to try this place for some time. If you walked past it, you would not really know what they sell. They serve several sandwiches, sides, desserts, snacks and drinks. You can only sit outside on their patio. The staff made good recommendations as to which sauces go well with which sa
Beef brisket with basil pesto mayo caramelized onions arugula. Good except a bit bland for my taste but that’s on me. Should’ve gone for some hot sauce. Prepped in 5 mins.
Great sandwich shop. Good for takeout. Easy to order, however pick up was a bit harder due to the line up and no clear direction. Still managed. Sandwiches are delicious and moist. Raving about the texture of the brisket or tenderness of the chicken sandwiches. Sauces are also very good compliment t
Super expensive for a sandwich place. Payed 18$ for a sandwich with no drink or fries. I ordered the chicken BLT and there was barley any meat. Sandwich was mainly bun. No seating area to eat. There was only 2 tables and they were full. I will not go back here ever again
black camel is such a cute little spot. you order at the window (maybe just for covid) I ordered the veg sandwich with hummus and pesto mayo - the veg is grilled but the bun is not, but it is high quality bread! would def recommend
Used to love this place, but the sandwich prices have gotten totally insane. It was $8.95 for the brisket sandwich not that long ago and now it's $11.45? Terrible value. I've come here since 2009 and there for sure is way less meat and more bread in the sandwiches than there used to be. Grandma Love
The place serves many kind of sandwiches that are yummy. Mind the tasty sauces you can fall in love. They’ve increased prices during COVID-19.
Loved both sandwiches - The BLT was my favourite - the thin pancetta slice was perfectly salty, the mayo & pesto just perfectly creamy, and the best part, the roasted roma tomatoes!!! What a beautiful take on a BLT. The Brisket sandwich was full of flavour - a bit heavy on the horseradish so beware
