Best Indian food I've ever had! The service was beyond exceptional! I have a food allergy which can make it difficult to eat out at restaurants. Our server actually knew exactly what on the menu was safe for me to eat and took the time to point out what I could have on the menu! Their staff works as a team making it so you get great service at all times. The atmosphere was incredible, the convenience of reserving a table online was perfect, and the experience overall was certainly a 10/10! Highly highly recommend!!!

This is hands-down the best Indian food ever! Mishkat is an amazing server and we had a lovely time. Will definitely be back soon. Brie pakoras. Brie pakoras. And Brie pakoras. That is all.

Food was great. Service was awesome. Price was good too. My only complaint was that we found a hair in our tamarind sauce. That was a bummer. But we’ll go back again regardless.

A great experience for my first time last night (August 11th 2015). The atmosphere was lovely, customer service was the best I've had in a restaurant in a LONG time and the food was fantastic. I'm definitely making this regular thing! Thank you Kamasutra!

Excellent food, great service. The best Indian restaurant in the GTA. If you don't see what you want on the menu, then ask and chances are they can make it.

We stopped in because my friend is a vegetarian and liked Indian food. Not the type of food I usually eat since my last Indian food experience was way too spicy. To my surprise the food was very tasty, and not very spicy. Funny that the music playing in this upscale restaurant was some hardcore rap, maybe time to tone that down a bit LOL

Delicious onion bhaji, butter chicken, palek paneer, naan and rice. Each dish spiced perfectly for our taste. Service was great.

Very delicious! Dal makhani was yummy, and a great replacement after my usual Indian place closed during the pandemic. Cannot remember now what other dish I ordered but it was also good. Haven't been to the actual restaurant in person for years, but I remember liking the atmosphere.

My first time at the restaurant was in 2010 for my girlfriend’s (now fiancée) birthday. The food was amazing then, and still amazing now (i.e., yesterday). My fiancée and I usually visit this restaurant once a year together to celebrate special occasions, whether it’s one of our birthdays, a job promotion, finishing school, etc. Last month, for the first time, we brought some friends out for one of their birthdays. We had some picky eaters in the bunch who never really had any Indian food outside of butter chicken or samosas. I ordered some shareables for the table and they loved them. My friends said they would definitely come back. Whenever we go the Kamasutra, we get the Lover’s Thali Dinner for 2 (apps, 3 mains, naan bread, rice). That way if you’re not sure what to order, you can try a few things. My trip to the restaurant yesterday was for my birthday dinner. The place was quiet and we had a nice window seat. The food and service was excellent as usual. Shoutout the Jasmeet for the great service! He was attentive, and informative when we asked some questions about a couple questions about new items on the menu that hadn’t seen before (which ended up being delicious by the way). He also did a great job balancing the going back and forth between the takeout, Uber/Skip/etc orders and us. Long story short, if you’re looking for a great place to have some Indian food, I recommend giving this place a shot.

I was taken here for my birthday dinner and it was fabulous! The servers were attentive and very friendly, the tables and space were decorated beautifully, their vegetarian curries and biriyani were very well prepared. I'll be sure to visit again.

I came across a deal that I couldn't resist so my sidekick, Raj, and I went out looking for Kamasutra. It's an Indian restaurant on Bayview, south of Eglinton, with a Green P lot conveniently located across the street. Once inside, we were greeted by a very cheery young lady, Danielle. The decor was very nice and upscale. We asked about the special that I had come across but the manager said it was only available Monday through Thursday, even though it wasn't dated. Anyway, we managed to get past that and the manager ended up taking care of us through most of our visit. We ordered from a four course menu that had lots of choices. We started with the Onion Bhaji and Tandoori Lamb Tikka. Both dishes were delicious, packed with flavour. The onion bhaji was crispy and was served with a tamarind sauce and pickled onions. The lamb was served off the skewer with a mint sauce, some veggies, and more of those yummy pickled onions. Wow, a great way to start our meal! The remaining dishes arrived all at once, each in its own bowl, making it very easy to share. It all looked delicious but the camera had to eat first. See photos. The Lamb Vindaloo is a curry stew with potatoes and spices. It was very good but Raj thought it tasted a little gamey. I loved it. The Kamasutra Butter Chicken had a lot of rich tomato sauce, maybe a tad more tomato than I'm used to in butter chicken but it did taste very good. The chicken was moist and had a good depth of flavour. This may be one of the top three butter chicken dishes I've enjoyed. Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese) may not be a very attractive dish but this version tasted very good. Again, maybe another top three. We tried the Malai Kofta, a dish I've never seen before. It's a cottage cheese ball in a creamy cashew nut sauce. Interesting, in a very good way. I would order this again. Rounding out our meal was a Chicken Biryani, Pulao Rice, regular naan, and garlic naan. The pulao rice had a little saffron, peas, and cumin. The naan was hot and crispy and the garlic naan was delicious. I love garlic. The chicken biryani was colourful and had a generous amount of moist chicken. This might be the best one I've had. We also tried Cheetah Indian beer. It's a lager that we both found was a little sweeter than the Kingfisher we tried recently. It was good. Overall, I have to say this is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. The food was excellent. The service turned out to be be really good, especially from Danielle, who checked in with us frequently. Now that I've discovered Kamasutra, I can't wait to come again. ;)
