Always great
Service was great as usual. After a trade show you can always count on Canyon Creek for amazing service and great food. My steak was really tasty and tender. Service was quick and friendly.
Once upon a time a man and his girl ate here...
And they liked it. We got the table d'hôte. 6oz steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables and a dessert. Which was either a double chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream or creme brûlée.
The brownie was a bit dry but the ice-cream fixed that. Service was polite and good.
Good steaks. The thing I like about this canyon creek is you very rarely have to wait for a seat. The coconut shrimp and Asian nachos are a must as appetizers.
Above Expectations. I'm not a chain restaurant fan. But is was freezing cold and the restaruant was a short walk from the hotel. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. I was alone so I took a seat at the bar. The place was slammed but I service was top notch. I opted for the Chicken and Goat Cheese pasta. It was excellent. Fresh grape tomatoes in a tomato cream sauce with a nice portion of bite size grilled chicken and crumbled goat cheese.
Good service - check
Nice atmosphere - check
Served a great dish that is not a steak, chop or burger in a chophouse - good show!
Better than expected meal experience at a chain - check.
Eaten at a few CCCH over the years. All have been pretty good, this was above average. Thanks.
Best Airport Area Option. Let's start with two disclaimers: First, we too were skeptical about eating at a chain in the airport area; and, second, we've admittedly only dined twice during lunch hours.
That said, we are very impressed. Our first order was the sliders, which consists of shaved prime rib with horseradish and a real au jus. A real treat when you can never handle the size of an actual prime rib. There is no compromise on the quality of the meat, and the horseradish is nice and hot.
We also sampled the prime rib Quesadilla (yes, we were on a red meat kick) which while not as yummy as the sliders, was very tasty.
Our third appetizer and one of our favourites was the Thai chicken lettuce wraps. They came with a good variety of julienne vegetables (carrots, onion, snap peas, amongst others) with a beautiful lemongrass aroma. They were served with exactly the right amount of bib lettuce, with two choices of sauce. We particularly liked the tongs they provided, making it clean and easy to fill your lettuce leaf.
We also indulged in one of the two soup offerings. Again, on the red meat theme, we enjoyed a prime rib and vegetable soup. This delicious soup could best be described as a stew, and when served with lots of freshly ground pepper, it was a real taste treat.
Finally, perhaps the most pleasant surprise of all - an incredible crisp, fried, chicken breast sandwich served with a jicama buttermilk coleslaw and jalapenos. The meat was tender and juicy, and the thin batter managed to provide a crisp texture without being greasy.
Overall, we loved it here. Generally the Airport area is a food wasteland and we're happy to have discovered a place we can eat when trapped out here.
Food's great. The best roast prime rib! Ambience was also amazing - like Pickle Barrel, but a lil more romantic. The waiters/servers that night were really friendly so that added to our great exp overall.
Ate the black cod in miso soup base. It was good. The ambience was nice with good noise in the background. The rare tuna was decent. Service was great.
"The Chicago". My favourite dish has to be the Chicago-cut striploin. I had never heard of this type of steak before. When I asked the server he was very knowledgeable and told us all about this unique steak.
It comes from a 20 oz New York strip that the chef cuts in half. This makes the steak almost two inches thick! I had it cooked medium rare. On top of the steak they poured a garlic-cabernet jus and topped the steak with freshly prepared onion straws.
I'd say this is the best steak I've ever had!
First Time At Canyon Creek. I have to admit.... I heard of Canyon Creek, but never had been there till this time. All I have to say is WOW. Brand new.... great decor, as soon as you walk in you feel welcomed, the staff are always friendly even tho they are always busy. We were seated, and was greeted by our server. Told us the specials, always smiling. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops.... OMG TOTALLY AMAZING!!! Way better then the keg. Main course, 2 steaks, with veggies and potatoes , they came perfectly cooked.... med well and med rare, the flavor I must say was perfect!!! Great combo if spice and very tender! We didnt have dessert, way to full to even look at the menu. Anyways.... OVERALL Experience, Perfect, This is what I wish all restaurants can learn from and experience.
Nice service and very clean bathrooms! The dip is great. Probably one of the better salsas I've had from a restaurant. They give extra chips if you still have chips left over.
Unfortunately they don't serve the honey butter and fresh baked bread anymore! ):
I got the prime rib sandwich with thin fries. The sandwich is okay. The horseradish may is really strong, which was off putting. My fiance got the lobster tail and steak. The steak was really great.
The dessert was double chocolate brownie. It was not too sweet.
I have to say that I really enjoyed Canon Creek. Exceptional service and great food!!
Prices were good for the portion size.
Will definitely visit again! Very nice ambiance.
Photos include: Lime in the Coconut drink, Creme Bruelle and Chicken Pasta.

Thank you, guys
Food was amazing. Great experience. The Punch Drunk Rum was delicious. Could have had the whole thing to myself. My steak was slightly overdone for what I ordered but it was still yummy.
Wonderful experience. Delicious 😋 food with great customer service. Loved it.
Great food and great service. Menu was reduced from pre-pandemic times so expect some items to be missing. They forgot bacon on my loaded baked potato but after a prompt check in the issue was resolved. We asked for a candle to be added to the brownie dessert and they added a sparkler and took the brownie off the menu. Very happy with the visit and would certainly come back again.
Beautiful place to visit. amazing service great server ( Dona, the one she served us). Delicious cocktail. They have great veggie burger. Few other veggie options to explore. It was real fun to visit the place
