Our server ,Jeremy, was superb and the meal was exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We were here yesterday ( with my friend ) & its our first time here..the experienced was really fantastic,,from the way to our seat & the rest with the Authentic Thai foods plus trying their Thai beer..We have to take home our extra foods for one dish can fill me up already..Aunthentic Soup was really addictively good..I will greatly recommended this place & we will be back here for sure..Keep it up!!Ty for our experienced
We went to Bangkok Garden for Dinner before a play last night. Our first time there. Service was excellent. Told them we had to be out at a certain time for the show and they had us out with extra minutes to spare yet it did not seem rushed at all. The menu had a fantastic variety of dishes all with a symbol beside it to give level of spice which made it so much easier to order. We had an appetizer each and 4 main dishes with rice. Every single one was perfection. The price we found to be very reasonable. 3 alcoholic drinks an appetizer and 3 mains with rice for $115 including tax and tip for 2 people. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for great atmosphere, good service and excellent Thai food.
I went twice already. The food was excellent and good server. I'm going back again!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Thank you
Food was great as well as the service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner. The staff are attentive and very nice. The food fantastic. Will go again.
Great place. Really yummy vegetarian food and I love the decor
Toronto. Boat Show
Bangkok restaurant was great. Great Thai beer. Waitress was awesome and food was fantastic. Great atmosphere
Came here for the buffet and I really enjoyed it. Just enough selection and they even have a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Really loved the pad Thai and the green curry. So good! Also enjoyed the make your own soup. Definitely would come back here again ๐ค
Came here for dinner. Perfect ambience. I got one of the red curries which was delicious. Spice level was just ideal for my taste buds. Cherry on the cake was the superb service. Will be back here again!!
In my 5 day trip to Toronto, I ate here twice! Simply love the place for the food! Must try the raw mango salad and Thai curry and the sriracha chocolate mousse.
This is a buffet - style Thai food place. Usually when I go for thai I get pad thai--I love it so much that it's hard to choose something new--so I greatly enjoyed this meal style for thai food so that I was able to try several dishes without worrying that I might not like it.
Food: A great selection and very good quality food! I tried a little bit of absolutely everything that was available: some items were too spicy for my liking (which is exactly why you just take a little on the first round), other items opened my eyes to new thai dishes I greatly enjoy (white curry chicken! Mmmmm!), and when all was said and done I still got to enjoy some pad thai to end the meal (it was good but not great pad thai). Lots if options; you'll definitely find something to enjoy.
Service: Since it's buffet you pretty well serve yourself, but the staff was quick to clear dirty plates and fill up water, which is appreciated. They were friendly, too, and we were able to pay and be on our way quickly.
Price: A bit expensive, especially considering we went for lunch buffet. But you can really get your money's worth if you try a bit of everything and eat til you pop, ha! It was $18ish before taxes.
Summary: A very nice establishment with really good food. It also has a koi pond, which is really cool, but that shouldn't be the reason you go. Go for good thai food, to try new dishes, and to eat to your heart's content :)
Food In The City Toronto

With the last bit of the hot weather left in Toronto, Bangkok gardenย (@bangkokgardenTO) is featuring an exclusive โcool downโ coconut tasting menu to help you cool off your taste buds! Starting now until the end of September, Bangkok gardenย (located a block north of Yonge & Dundas)ย is offering a 7 course coconut inspired authentic Thai dishes for everyone to try. Luckily enough for me, I had the pleasure of enjoying this #cooldown tasting and it was amazing! Let me share with you the highlights of my evenings :)
We are in the height of summer.ย The days are hot. ย The evenings feel humid โ like getting off a plane in after long-awaited tropical get-away. ย And what all this really means is: letโs find a patio and chill. ย In the heart of the city, ย on one of the most well-known streets in Toronto is a hidden gem within our city.ย ย Well itโs not too hidden.ย Elm Street is the home of one of the most famous steakhouses, Barbarians. ย However, today Iโm focusing on Bangkok Garden, a rich oasis, housed in a historical building for over 30 years and is one of only four Thai restaurants in Toronto to be awarded the Thai Select Premium designation from the Thai Consulate (recognizing the authenticity of the food and outstanding service).
We have the chance to customize it to the way we want it but I figured it would be best if I tell the crew to do it whichever way they think best. And after a blurry of motions of taking a bit of each from the ingredients in front of her, she ends up with an amazing soup, flavourful with just a touch of heat. It was just there for a kick and it doesnโt burn. It gives that comfy warmth in your tummy. If the line wasnโt too long, I would have probably taken another bowl once again.
The best Thai restaurant in Canada. Everything is good but to get the best value I suggest their lunch buffet. The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. As a result, you will pay slightly more for your experience than the average Thai restaurant. Next time I'm back in TO, it will be my first stop.
A wonderful evening well spent. My girlfriend and I visited Bangkok Garden this evening around 5:30. We had an amazing and delicious 3 course meal for $33 and it was worth every penny. The portions were generous and the dishes were beautifully displayed. Our waiter Ali was very friendly, accommodating and even made great suggestions from the menu. Martinis were on special for $5 and the Cosmopolitan and Lichee drinks were very good, I would have had loved to try more but had to drive. Thank you to the staff and chefs for making our girls night out very memorable. We will definitely be back for Summerlicious.
Great Thai Food. Went here for lunch today with a friend and had the buffet. It was super tasty and the price ($15) is decent! I love their spring rolls. Seriously the best I've had, and the ground beef stir fry is really good too. I went back for seconds! The inside is also very nice and has a calm atmosphere. Definitely will go back and try their regular lunch and dinner menus.
Dinner. Loved this place! Ambience and food!
Food is nice; however.... Their buffet - they don't replenish fast...
Their menu doesn't have fish in the buffet, which is a bit odd.
Bangkok Garden. Although I found the portions to be quite small, the food was good. Clearly anything curry should satisfy any palate
Yesterday, I treated my boyfriend out to Bangkok Garden Restaurant near College station. While we were waiting to be seated, we picked up a guide of Winterlicious. The Bankok garden restaurant was listed as one of the places that were participating in the event. It was a fine dining resturant. This was our second visit. What brought us back was the magical Tom Kha Gai, a Thai Coconut milk chicken soup. The first time we had this soup, it was soo good, how should I describe the taste? A light coconut milk based soup with Chicken pieces, parsley, white button sliced mushrooms and a dried chilli pepper for an extra tickle in the throat if desired. When you take the first sip, you can tell that there is a lot going on in this soup and the recipe requires 20 ingredients (which is true if you do your research of this soup recipe). It feels like this soup
I have eaten at Bangkok Garden at their lunch buffet and it was good, with a lot of diverse items to choose from such as spring rolls, green and red curries, basil chicken, rice, noodles, and more. I came here for dinner and my experience was just satisfactory.
The friendly hostess greeted me and I was seated quickly. I had the Thai spicy curry (gang pa) with chicken and requested red chilies, as I like my food spicy. While the dish was flavourful, it was lacking spice and it did not come with red chilies, as I had requested. I had also requested traditional Thai prik nam pla sauce, and was told they did not have it. I'm surprised that Bangkok Garden, which bills itself as an authentic Thai restaurant, would not have such a sauce. I also had the frozen blended passionfruit and mango drink, which was essentially dessert in glass and very refreshing.
Service could have been friendlier. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, but that alone would not warrant a visit from me in the near future.
I finally went to Bangkok Garden a couple weeks ago. The decor was very nice, but I was a bit thrown off by the music as I could hear two different songs playing at the same time. As for the meal, my friend and I ordered too much food but everything tasted delicious. We started with Fresh Spring Rolls - very fresh and tasty. As our main, my friend and I shared the Jade Greens, Tamarind Beef Curry and Chicken Phad Si Ew. While everything was filling and delicious, I did find that the beef curry was a tad bit salty for my liking. Perhaps that's more of a personal preference. I would definitely go back again!
Beautiful setting and great food at an excellent price. Took advantage of the Elmwood Spa VIP offer (2 courses for $22). Wonderful dinner!
I know this place was not cheap but the second I saw a fountain inside the restaurant I promise it is all worth it. Stepping inside the restaurant made you feel like you are in a hide away tour in Thailand, and it was soothing to hear the water while you eat. I always come here for lunch buffet, and the soup noodles are always best with fish cakes and fish sauce. The highlight is always the small thai dessert as they are always so colorful and tasty.ย
First time dining at Bangkok Garden.
Love the ambience, very Thai feel ๐
Excellent service and food. I will definitely come back again.
We ordered Mango salad, calamari and pork noodles ๐๐๐
First time here, stumbled upon this place during a casual walk. Probably one of the best Thai Places in Toronto. Definitely one my top places so far. Will definitely come back here again. Would recommend it to any one looking for a high quality Thai cuisine.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Ambiance/vibe is very zen, relaxing, and ornate. Wood ceilings and interiors plus a water garden with Koi serves as a very relaxing background to a fine dining experience, but without breaking your bank. Loved it!
Great place, great ambiance, excellent service and to top it off the food was exceptional. Dropped in with a large group for dinner and all orders arrived within minutes of each other. Bangkok Garden will be added to my list of places for a return visit.
We tried the Rainbow trout, mango salad, stir fry, and the Green Thai curry. Everything was excellent. Would surely come back here. The servers were nice.
The locations of the restrooms at this establishment is a bit of a let down. The route to the restroom is pretty complicated.
The restaurant should have the Phanaeng curry in their menu.
Bangkok Garden has become a favorite in the family. They serve authentic tasting Thai food. They have a good selection of mains, and the food is always consistent in quality and taste. The ambiance is even better in their backroom where most of the dining takes place. Definitely will be returning.
Came here with a friend I haven't seen in a while, and it was a great experience! Very tasty thai food. I got the pad see ew and my friend got the spring roll appetizer and I think their vermicelli noodle dish. We enjoyed our meals very much!

From the outside of the establishment it doesn't look too exciting or appealing. However, when you walk inside and proceed to the restaurant's upper floor, you are greeted by warm staff and a pleasant interior. I felt immediately at home by the wonderful staff who had seated me after COVID protocols were strictly adhered to.
The restaurant was clean and beautiful and with its fantastic Thai decorations / design, I had been taken on a wonderful journey of Thailand through the amazing beauty of this fine establishment.
The food took a while to be expedited even though the restaurant had only 2 other tables occupied (wasn't busy at all). The reason for the food being delayed is due to the love and care the amazing Chef puts into each and every dish creation. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the 3 course Lunch special which is $40 and the portion size was just right. For the cost, the meal was completely filling and worth every dollar.
The only complaint I have with the establishment is the inconvenient location of the bathroom which is on the basement level down a stairwell through a couple doorways. If the washrooms were more easily accessible then this would definitely be a bonus.
I commend the staff for their excellent customer service and the Chef for their amazing mastery in the kitchen. Your establishment definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
I look forward to returning to your wonderful establishment and also referring my friends, family and business associates.
i throughly enjoyed the Thai food the chicken wings were nice and crispy...actually all the food was fresh delicious...definitely worth the $24 all you can eat is worth every penny
