Was a very delicious meal. The Peking duck was definitely good and worth a try at least once (tasted like smoked duck but with skins on it). The fried rice was probably my favourite dish out of all the items we’ve ordered because it was a interesting take on a classic meal. Im not sure if I would order the tofu again or the fried chicken as it felt very average. If the price was slightly lower it would’ve been rated higher.

Excellent food selection! Amazing service! As a newly converted “vegetarian- pescatarian”, I was pleased with the options! Every dish was memorable, shareable, flavourful and beautifully presented. My friends wanted to try the duck but it was sold out that night… if interested, make sure to reserve in advance. I recall them mentioning only 2 servings of duck per night… I enjoyed the mushroom fried rice, lobster and vermicelli dish! The sticky toffee pudding is on the sweeter side but melts in your mouth! Chef and staff are courteous and engaging! A must!

Definitely a high end place. We went on Valentines day and because we went early in the evening, there was an opening in the lounge area. Otherwise, you may want to call in advance and reserve a table. The atmosphere was nice, Comfy seats, and some good music. Staff were nice, and food came out fairly quick. Drinks were definitely on the higher priced side for the amount you get. See photos. We would return again in the future.

First time here, but have wanted to check out the place for a while after seeing Eric's cooking on masterchef. Thoroughly enjoyed the service and the dishes we tried. Unfortunately we didn't sample the restaurant's famous duck, but we were able to sample several menu items all of which were top notch. The sticky toffee pudding to finish was outstanding. The cocktails were also quite varied and interesting. We will be back!

I went to R&D for my birthday and it was a great place to do so! The music is good, there's a warm atmosphere, and staff are friendly and kind. A lot of classic dishes that are familiar yet have an additional complexity in flavour! I particularly enjoyed the snow pea leaves and the french onion spring roll was warm and fatty in flavour without being too greasy. However, still to this day, I am still thinking about the wagyu. It melts in your mouth like butter. The Singaporean black pepper sauce tops it off with the mushrooms like a dream. Finished dinner off with a sticky toffee pudding and the bourbon caramel ice cream is made in-house that differentiates the dessert from others, and it's the perfect balance of bourbon and sweetness!

R&D is awesome. The term asian fusion often goes around loosely nowadays but R&D does it perfectly right. All the dishes were exquisite with the original taste and flavours you expect plus very different interpretations and twists. Staff was super nice but we felt a bit rushed towards the end. 4 stars just because cocktails were expensive and didn’t really feel that premium.

Beautiful hip location with interesting design and great menu. We went out for a casual date night with my husband and all the dishes had a great taste twist to them. From the dim sum with chicken and truffles that had a great unique smokey taste to it to wagyu beef steak with great side sauce. Everything was enjoyable and left us wishing for more. The cocktails were a great addition flavour wise. Gotta also note the small dessert place at the entrance. Everything is sooooo adorable. It was hard to pick! And all of them taste amazing. Definitely a place to come back to!

Guys this is the pinnacle of Asian Fusion food... BEST RESTAURANT OF IT'S TYPE IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO !!! The experience was amazing and most friendly staff I've ever met. Everything was absolutely delicious 🥡 extremely recommend to anyone who loves this type of cuisine. 10/10
