The best place, the best autentic Italian food and the best service, I really recommend it, this place is amazing 😉
Excellent food, wine and service. Our group of 15 ate a la famiglia, and tasted just about everything on the menu, except for fish and seafood due to allergies. It was delicious, served piping hot, or room temp as appropriate, and totally fresh. Their private room is modern and gorgeous, with horizontally stacked wine bottles lining the walls. One side red. The other white. This doesn't however make for good acoustics, and we were a very chatty bunch. The food MORE than made up for this quibble. From the delicious bread, through awesome apps, pizza, pasta, salads, mains (short ribs highly recommended), to the dessert sampling of Italian pastries, I really loved it. Among the top group dinners of all time. And I've done a lot. This was my first time at Cibo and I'll def return.
The brunch buffet was fantastic. Loved the selection and great quality food. Really friendly manager and staff. We went cause there was a Groupon but would most definitely go back even without a Groupon.

Had such a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s & my sister-in-law’s birthday. The server was wonderful and the food was delicious! I’ve been to this place quite a few times and it’s never disappointed. We even received a bottle of prosecco on the house for the birthday boy and girl. Lovely evening.
Very lively atmosphere and the lobster ravioli was delicious. Must have the Nutella pizza for dessert.
The Chicken Parmigiana melted in your mouth 👄. The portobello mushrooms 🍄 yummy 😋. The polenta fries gluten free and excellent. The service was amazing 😉
Amazing selection of wine and liquor, excellent food, particularly Beef short ribs, great décor, huge restaurant with several rooms of varied sizes for private parties!
Simply love this place, and the one at Young Street in Eglinton area is equally good but a lot more noisier.
Love the ambiance, service was awesome and the food so delicious. Their polenta fries and gnocchi are the best.
Great atmosphere with fantastic food and very friendly staff. Prices are average for Toronto and the menu has something to suit everyone. The food was delicious, fresh warm bread, yummy pastas and delicious pizza ! We all enjoyed our food.

This is an amazing place to eat well and drink good wines inDowntown Toronto!
I have been looking for Veal milanese for a long while in Toronto and finally I got to have have at Cibo. I must say it was worth the price. I email booked my reservation and informed that I was celebrating my anniversary. I was amazed by the quality of care and experience my family and I received.
The best as always. Service is second to none. Claudio was top notch as usual. Our waiter was incredible and attentive.
Amazing traditional italien food and great wine pairing! Excellent friendly and rapid service. A great experience and definitely would go back!
The food and the service was great! Staff was very well versed in all aspects including the wine list.
Great place to have pizza or pasta, great selection of wine!
Just nearby all bars! great location for food and drinks after!
Best Sunday brunch in Toronto
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. But the service is even better. It is incomparable. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave you are treated like kings and queens. . There is an omelet station ,a Pizza Station, you can have roast beef or pasta, there is a salad bar and fantastic desserts, Including a waffle bar.
In the summer there is a patio outside as well.
Had a lovely dinner here with a friend. The food was exquisite and well prepared while the ambience was stunning. The only drawback being the slow service of the waiting staff, however they were really sweet and did the most they could to serve us and make us comfortable and happy. All in all, a must eat place for anyone visiting the fashion district.
We’ve been to this restaurant before and it feels like they’ve improved on the quality of services, main courses and desserts. It’s a great venue for large groups to dine and socialize in the trendy Yorkville neighbourhood......................................
Whatever debate rages of whether the no-car King corridor has helped or hindered business, it is a non-issue at CIBO which has always been packed by local condo dwellers or people coming before/after their outing to the entertainment district. Delicious food, Fast & Courteous service, and Great wines such as the pictured Cannonau di Sardegna (a hugely popular Grenache). Recommend the place!
Went here for an office team lunch with about 15 people! This restaurant is huge and has beautiful ambiance...accommodating 15 to 17 people was very easy for them. However, they weren't able to keep up with such a large order. We had to wait for a long long time for our food to be served. We had about 1.5hours for lunch in between our workshop and we had to exceed that. So clearly, if you are in time crunch and are a big party, avoid this place!
On the contrary, if you're just up for some good food, good wine and a good time with someone and you don't have any time restrictions, this place is definitely worth a try. Everything that we ordered came in big portions and tasted fantastic. We all returned with happy tummies! You can totally rely on the servers suggestions as well because a few of them from my group went with the suggestions and it was really really good!
With its inviting ambience and buzzing atmosphere, this is a great ‘go to’ after work. The front desk does a good job of getting you seated quickly or being realistic about wait times.
The bar service as well as the cocktails can be hit and miss and luckily the long waits are literally cushioned by comfortable seating. I’d personally stick with wine given that it is a wine bar after all, and it seems to be the drink they do best.
The draw of ‘Lobster Tuesday’ gave me my first taste of Cibo’s menu. Table service was friendly and efficient and although I was inadvertently brought bread I didn’t order, it was very kindly left with me, on the house. The focaccia itself was delicious with perfect consistency and enticing flavours. The lobster itself was beautifully presented with a very inviting aroma. It was cooked & seasoned well on a somewhat sparse bed of asparagus (I didn’t see it initially and asked where it was, only to have the waitress embarrassingly point under the lobster). I chose to add an excellently suggested wine pairing which went down very nicely.
My only gripe would be the portion size. I am not a big eater and could have easily consumed two of these. When enquiring after a side of fries, I was told that the kitchen does not offer this as an option. This was disappointing despite being offered an alternative of roast potatoes. The well informed waitress did assure me that the other lobster options (risotto or pasta) were larger and more filling.
I would return here for wine and perhaps to sample more of their menu.
Lovely dining at Cibo! We enjoyed tasting over 15 menu items all were incredible. Polenta fries, beef carpaccio, shrimp diovola, gnocchi and braised short ribs were among my favorite !! Delicious. Likely the best gnocchi we have ever had
Dined at cibo many times .. the food is always tasty (my go to being the lobster ravioli or canneloni for main) but service is not as attentive and knowledgable about their own menu as seen at other establishments .. Each time i have been I find I am waiting quite some time ust to ask for water to be refilled or the bill
Octopus was tasty great flavour but a little over done. The dish (as seen in picture) is great for a light dinner (esp for those nights where club follows dinner)
Desserts on point .. as you can see we order just about all of them and share amongst the table the chocolate bonbon being my favourite (not sure of the actual name of dessert)
Top Notch!!! We had never been here before so
I was a bit worried when we booked the party room for our company’s 20th
anniversary. I was concerned about not
being able to order a-la-carte and never experienced the “family style” serving
before. We ordered the SOCIAL menu 3, at $65 per
person. It was worth every penny. It was 14 courses, all of which were amazing (CIBO SERVICE STYLE CHEF'S SELECTION OF
SIGNATURE PIZZAS, POLENTA FRIES, BEEF CARPACCIO, ARANCINI, SPIDUCCI, GRILLED
OCTOPUS, POLPETINNE, GNOCCHI, RAVIOLI, ORECCIETTE, VEAL MILANESE, POLLO
PARMIGIANA, SALMONE FRESCO ATLANTICO, SEASONAL VEGETABLES and CHEF'S SELCETION
DESSERT PLATTER). The food was ample and
had something for everyone on the menu. The
service was outstanding, the attention to detail they provided was
exceptional. I recommend this establishment for any private
function. The way the table is set allowed for
conversation, even across the table because the room was sectioned off from the
restaurant so you can hear everyone (ours was a table for 16). We are already planning to have our company
Christmas party here. You will not be disappointed. This
place is top notch.
After living in my new place for well over a year, my neighbour and I finally got a chance to hang out! After tossing a few ideas back and forth, we decided on Cibo's King West location. The décor is fabulous; wood walls with slots for backlit wine bottles. Classy! The seating was comfortable and nicely spaced out. Noise level gets a bit high in there, but it wasn't too bad.

Absolutely AMAZING place! The food is fantastic, I recommended the Ravioli, just exquisite! The staff is so friendly, ask for Brent if you're able to because he's honestly the best and sweetest!
Wow!!!!! Absolutely loved every single part of my experience at this place. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. Original cocktails. But foremost, the food!!!!!!! I got to taste 4 dishes including the carpaccio app, mushroom app, seafood risotto and gnocchi and everything was 100% perfect. I'm a wine lover and appreciated the long list of choices. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!!! A+
Cibo is a place with awesome atmosphere as well as food. However, this should be your destination for Private Dining. They have several private rooms that are well decorated. They have an excellent group menu and they even print custom menus for your guests upon arrival. I do not think Cibo is the #1 Italian restaurant in Toronto but I would consider it as one of the best for private dining. Try the cibo style sharing menus!
Came here for a nice double date dinner on a Sunday night with my boyfriend and two friends.
Three of us went to culinary school and the other took a sommelier program. So we thought a nice Italian wine bar would be the perfect place. We may be slightly harsher critics, though, since we all have high standards when it comes to a "nice" dinner.
One thing that stood out immediately was the lack of bread. We thought it was very weird that the table had both extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar but they didn't bring out any bread. They also had trouble finding the bottle of wine we ordered. It took quite some time to get to the table which we thought was kind of weird for a wine bar (yes they have a lot of bottles but they are sorted by region). I guess the person looking for the wine was new? Eventually we did get it and it was very nice wine.
We decided to share a bunch of appetizers. The Funghi was great, Mozarella di Bufala was delicious and the tomatoes with it were very tasty. I didn't try the Carpaccio or Prosciutto but heard they were good. We got the Burrata board without realizing that was the only cheese on the board. The wording on the menu was a little vague but in hindsight it makes sense. It's just that the mozzarella and burrata were very similar cheeses, we probably should've opted for the Formaggi board instead. Both cheeses were delicious, though.
A couple other things on the Antipasto menu sounded great, too (polenta fries with gorgonzola dip? yum), but we opted to move on to entrees and come back to try other things another time.
The entrees:
-Lobster ravioli in a bechamel lobster cream sauce. Apparently it had a good flavour. Fresh in house pasta is always nice.
-Italian sausage calzone. It didn't come with any marinara sauce which is a bit odd but was according to my boyfriend it was very tasty anyway.
-Margherita pizza. Only three little basil leaves for the whole pizza. But it had a decent basil flavour throughout. Our friend is always on the lookout for a really great Margherita and apparently this one made the top 5 on his list.
-Gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce. It was really good but my boyfriend makes an amazing gorgonzola sauce so I'm a bit spoiled on that front. Next time I would probably try the risotto or something else, but it was quite good. You can't go wrong with fresh, soft potato gnocchi.
For dessert we tried a blood orange gelato. SO good. It tasted really yummy and refreshing, kind of like orange Crush.
Ambiance was unbeatable. Really cute, romantic little place. Bathroom was a little out of the way (back of the restaurant, downstairs, down a hallway) but nice. The service was okay but our server was over-apologetic. No need to interrupt our conversation to apologize for reaching ever so slightly over my arm to refill my water glass (every time).
Overall, this is a really great place that is worth checking out and going back to, but couldn't give it a perfect rating due to a couple small details.
Excellent Italian Ristorante, serving up handmade pizzas and pasta made fresh in house! Tried the Lobster Ravioli, Pesto gluten free penne and the Gigli with prosciutto and olive oil. Excellent wine selection, great lofty ambiance, definitely need a reservation on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. Loved it will be back really soon!

Lovely spot. The ambiance is amazing. The service impeccable. The food was good. I tried the gnocchi. The private rooms looked very cool. I would come back again.
As always this king west staples performs at stellar levels. Their unpretentious menu is delish all over. My goto favourite was the whole wheat penne with braised pulled brisket with a light tomato sauce. The started was a delicate Caeser salad that had loads of flavour without overpowering the garlic. I felt full but not overly. The atmosphere was perfect for my meeting too. All around well done!
Their lunch deal is great. Nice atmosphere and decent food. Great when you have a good extra minutes to enjoy lunch. Great food and value for the price.
Beautiful restaurant!! Could not imagine how big it was inside based on the entrance from the outside. Came for a birthday party with a group of 17 people - as you know large groups are always troublesome and you can expect a bad experience. However, our server was fantastic, service was very attentive, every dish was absolutely delicious. Even dishes I knew I wouldn't like were delicious!! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!!
Great place! Especially for lunch as the lunch specials are quite a good value. Fresh pasta is made in house and the bread and olives they serve at the beginning are a great start to your meal. Aside from the fresh pasta, the Nutella banana dessert pizza is worth the calories and how full you feel afterwards.

Liberty Group venues are typically more concerned with the opulence of the decor, and less concerned with the quality and reliability of the kitchen. Cibo is a happy exception to the rule, with multiple visits yielding good food and friendly service.
Walking into Cibo on King West, I was impressed by the grand dining room with modern and chic decors, and felt slightly under-dressed. But would the food be just as glamorous? Their menu seemed to have covered a lot of different Italian dishes on their menu, which might be the biggest Italian menu I had ever seen.
Our first Anipasto dish was Arancini ($10), rice balls stuffed with ragu and melted mozzarella, James’ favorite dish. It was a great dish on both textures and flavours despite its humble ingredients...
One of the best restaurants in Toronto! Amazing food, impressive wine list and excellent service! Beautiful design👌🏻 cheese platter and cold cuts are amazing!
Not the best Italian food in Toronto but an incredible venue and experience for private dining in large groups. I highly recommend the cibo service style menus that they offer to large groups. Very good
SO IMPRESSED. Went here on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and sat on their patio which was really really nice. The inside décor was stunning, I would love to come back and eat inside. I am an Italian food snob, food and a little chef, so I feel like I know and appreciate good food. The focaccia they serve here to every table is to die for, we (4 girlies) attacked it and asked for seconds (carb overload). We got the arrancini appetizer and we were able to add an extra one because the appetizer only has 3 and we were 4, I really liked that. they were delicious we were all moaning and groaning over the flavor. For the main, me and my sister split the Lobster cannelloni which was so fresh and full of lobster with a delicious rose sauce & the lamb ragu papradelle which was my favorite. The pasta was fresh and full of texture, the sauce was delicious and not to heavy and stuck to the pasta perfectly. We were all impressed with this spot, definitely somewhere to check out!
Amazing! I would normally n.... Amazing!
I would normally never taken time to write a review of anything but Cibo was so good I just had to because I couldn't fault the place. The decor was spot on, the lighting and some funky background music made for a nice atmosphere. The woman who greeted us at the door and showed us to our table was lovely and the waitress was also very nice and efficient.
They brought out bread with oil and balsamic which we're too good I had to move it away to so save room. The starters we shared were excellent, prawns in spicy tomato garlic sauce and also a mixture or mushrooms. Seriously the best food I've eaten for as long as I can remember. The mains (entrees) were also very good. My girlfriend had a tuna salad which looked good and was according to her. I went for something different and had a Gorgonzola and spicy sausage pizza which again was the most delicious pizza I can remember eating. We had one of the cheaper wines which was still very good quality. the whole meal inc wine came to $125 which I found very reasonable. I would never normally go to the same place more than once during a trip but I really want to go back even though we're in Toronto for just 4 days! I can't see how there are any bad reviews about it unless people went here on a particularly busy or understaffed night. We were here on a fairly quiet Sunday night so who knows. Top restaurant!!!!
DEElicious. From food to atmosphere to service, it was all fantastic!
Great addition to King West!. Been there several times for lunch and dinner. Consistently good! Had dinner with a friend there last week. Beautiful place; great atmosphere; scrumptious food; great wines and smooth single-malts. Our server, Karlie, was knowledgeable and attentive.
Huge menu, great vibe. I came here on a Friday night with some girls. What a scene! It feels like NYC. Great service from a knowledgable waiter. Great cocktails. The menu is huge and offers a variety of options for everyone. Portions were a lot bigger than I expected. I had a grilled calamari appetizer as my main and I was stuffed. It had 3 big whole squids. The free bread was to die for, baked in house. Prices are as expected for the area. I highly recommend it!
Fit for a king. Cibo rocks.
A+
Delicious!. The food at Cibo Wine Bar was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and I loved being able to see the chefs prepare all the great dishes! Can't wait to go back to try more menu items! Maybe ill try the homemade pasta next time!
Great First Impression!!. Stumbled in on Friday which happened to be their opening night. Great looking place!! The homemade pastas we tried were really good, lobster ravioli as a starter and the spaghetti carbonara. Also tried the braised short ribs with gorgonzola polenta, also very good. We will definitely be back!!
Cibo Wine Bar is a sister restaurant to Yorkville's Ciao Wine Bar by Liberty Group . Both Cibo and Ciao offer the same menu by Chef Saverio Macri, an authentic rustic Italian and exudes a very trendy and chic vibe that many nightlife venues by the Liberty Group signifies. I have always been a fan of the food and ambiance of Ciao Wine Bar, so I took the advantage duing Winterlicious to try the spot on King West. At first glance, Cibo Wine Bar is much larger and open concept than its sister Ciao Wine Bar. The beautifully furnished space features an open kitchen, where you can witness fresh pasta being made and a a glass wine room. That's not all! What caught my eye in the dining area is the stone walls and exposed brick... so much character and warmth! I dined that night with two of my friends so we were able to get a taste of everything on the winterlicious menu, except for one of the entrees. First Courses: Tiger Shrimp with spicy wine garlic tomato sauce featured four pieces of tige
Located in a very hot area, for new and trendy restaurants, on King Street West in Toronto, Cibo has arrived from Miami. After reading about it we decided to give it a try. I called my son Mark, who lives near the area to call and make a reservation for 7 pm on a Saturday night in late July. It is a very large space with many different seating areas. We were seated in the front section near King Street, with a nice view of the outside and side patio. They have an extensive wine selection. We chose a nice Chianti ($55) that was very smooth. A nice house baked bre
The second stop of my restaurant crawl brought me to CIBO. I’ve been meaning to hit this spot for some time and this sunny
I've always wanted to check this place out as there aren't a lot of Italian restos on King Street! I went here on a weeknight with my friends for my birthday and I quite enjoyed it! I love the vibe of this place and it has a contemporary interior! They have a wide selection of wine and it's ultra modern cellar is domiciled in the middle of the restaurant! Their selection of antipastos and the desert we ordered (hazelnut pastry) were fantastic. The main dishes aren't bad either! Our server was quite attentive as well. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Went there for Winterlicious during the winter, and I am a big fan of their in house made beef carpaccio which is arguably the best in Toronto especially with its secret dressing with lemon zest and parmigiano reggiano. My dining partner kept raving about them and has made multiple trips just to satisfy his beef carpaccio cravings speak volume about Cibo’s quality. Their grilled octopus salad is out of this world with the right level of char and juicy flavors. The semifredo with a frangelico zabaglione is also ranked top 5 in Toronto due to the precise control of caramelization. The atmosphere was cool and a trip to the washrooms would be a treat for the artistic minded.
Had dinner at Cibo the other night, and it was a nice experience. It has a fairly swanky interior, and is very spacious. There was a nice sized wine list, tiny selection of beer and a decent sized menu. I can’t say i’m a huge fan of Italian, but I found a clam and mussels dish on the menu, and have to say it was awesome. The mussels were huge, and the broth was tasty. Would definitely return for snacks and drinks.
In case you're looking for a nice date place at King's, Cibo is the place to be. It's usually packed on weekends but weekdays seem fine, even without a reservation. The place looks really fancy from the inside with nice wine cellars on the walls. You can choose to either sit by the bar, take one of the high stools or get a regular table. The menu has the perfect kinds of Italian options which are not too confusing with a good wine list as well.We ordered the Linguine with Grilled Chicken & Pesto, the Carpaccio, the Clams & Mussels and the Carbonara. Each dish was as good as the other and the portions were decently sized. The Linguine had good chunks of tender chicken and the pesto sauce was evenly spread out. The Carpaccio tasted just perfect with the thin beef slices and the arugula & lemon juice going hand in hand. The Carbonara is heavy and creamy and had good thick chunks of bacon, which completely won me over! The mussels were surprisingly huge and tasted extremely good with the diced potatoes in the sauce. Although there was a good balance between the clams and the mussels, I could have probably ordered at least another portion of the same and still not be satisfied. You can always ask for extra focaccia bread with their olive oil and dip it in the mussels sauce. It's the best ever!If you're an Italian food fanatic, you definitely have to try this place out!
This week’s Thirsty Thursday will be another special, because, why not? Drink specials for a Thursday are just as important as drinks (to me at least, I love a great deal). The week is almost done, it’s Valentine’s Day eve so what better excuse to have wine?
Cibo Wine Bar offers half off glasses of wine and bottles that are offered by the glass. I was there a couple of weeks ago and got my fill of italian food and wine and it was so much fun. We had the Sauvignon Blanc from Yealands Estate, a New Zealand wine. It was a light wine that paired nicely with my rose ravioli. Cibo Wine Bar is the sister restaurant on King W to the Ciao Wine Bar in Yorkville. If you haven’t already made plans for tonight, consider enjoying delicious food and nice wine at Cibo

I dined that night with two of my friends so we were able to get a taste of everything on the winterlicious menu, except for one of the entrees.
First Courses:
Tiger Shrimp with spicy wine garlic tomato sauce featured four pieces of tiger shrimps. The sauce was delicious on its own, nevermind the shrimp, so we used some to dip our breads into.
Baked Eggplant with melted boccoccini and parmigiano and light tomato sauce was also a very generous portion of an appetizer. The layers of cheese and eggplant was great but I found that it got a bit mushy and fell apart midway.
Arugula & Prosciutto Di Parma with shaved parmigiano reggiano, red wine vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil offered us a lighter choice from the other two apps. I personally enjoyed the prosciutto pieces with my arugula for the texture variances. Can't get enough!
Second Courses:
Diavola Pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy calabrese salami and roasted red peppers is perfect for sharing! The spicy salami gave this pizza a little fiery kick, which we all loved. It was very enjoyable.
Next was the Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms in a light cream sauce. I love mushrooms and i love cream sauce so this was an obvious hit with me. There was a good pasta to sauce ratio and the texture of the mushroom was good - not soggy at all.
We also got the Chianti Braised Short Ribs with creamy Gorgonzola polenta and crispy onions. Having a piece of the fall-off-the-bone rib with the polenta and crispy onions in one bite excited my taste buds from the different textures. I definitely fell in love with the Gorgonzola polenta and the crispy onions.
Third Courses:
Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with candied blood orange and tangerine was my favourite dessert from the three we ordered. It was of good consistency and had a nice jiggle to it.
The Tiramisu Martini was also a hit at our table. A scoop of the different layers was sweet and delectable.
Dark Chocolate Risotto Pudding with hazelnut brittle on the other hand was the richer and heavier dessert choice. Loved that it had dark chocolate with fresh berries as well. This is my first time having risotto pudding and I quite enjoyed it.
Cibo is definitely a date night or a dinner with girlfriends type of spot with such a beautiful interior that sets the mood for both. Not to mention its attentive servers and delicious Italian food, it's no wonder why it's a popular restaurant on King West.
If you're looking for a trendy & chic place for your next night out or for a date, head to Cibo - you can't miss it with its signature red vespa parked at the front!
I’ve been here several times for lunch and dinner. I have enjoyed the food each time; this time we came here for a business dinner and started off by sharing a bunch of plates for appetizers: polenta fries (very unique), calamari, two different pizzas, a charcuterie board and grilled zucchini/eggplant. The pizzas are very delicious and are fairly large. Summerlicious was also going on so a few of us tried that menu too.
Starting off with a mushroom pasta (Porcini mushrooms in a light cream sauce) for my app – this was the size of a full meal and was incredibly filling; I shared my main with my friend beside me, we had the grilled Ontario White Fish which came prepared in a spicy white wine tomato sauce with vegetables and pesto. Some of the pastas are actually made fresh in-house; the ones that are not obviously don’t taste as well. (The Summerlicious menu here for dinner is only $25 – an incredible amount of food for the price)
The gelato dessert was tasty, it comes with three large scoops of different flavours: the hazelnut was excellent, the pistachio was a little bland, and the lemon was really good but also very tart – great if you are a big fan of lemon.
The wine selection by the glass or bottle is good, although a 5 oz pour is a bit small for the price. There are a number of reasonably priced bottles.
Great summer tip – they serve Sangria by the glass and it is wonderful!
The space itself is lovely, and quite different depending on where you’re sitting: like a stone wine cellar at the back, a modern bar in the centre, street-side cafe along the windows, and a patio that blocks some of the King Street noise with glass panels.
Our server was great, although I have had slow service here before when it was very busy.
Cibo has a beautiful interior and a great selection of Wine for a classy night out, the stone oven pizzas are amazing and always fresh to order. Cibo also one of the best brunch buffets in Toronto. Be sure to call ahead to make reservations this place fills up fast!
This magnificent restaurant is very well located and has a lot of bustle around it! It is a big place but it is intimate at the same time. They have also done a great job with illumination. The service was friendly and efficient. I went there to try their lunch menu during Summerlicious. I have to say that the experience was superb. I definitely didn’t expect the portion size that they served us, but it was so good that we only left a few crumbs behind. ;) I highly recommend that you try their homemade pasta, it is delicate and flavourful. Their pizza is medium crust and well topped, a great plate to start the feast with! Their best dessert, hands down, is the cookie lemon; it is the icing on the cake
I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary. Most of the dishes we enjoyed. The over all experience was quite good. Nothing wowed us immensely, so that’s why it’s only 4/5, especially given the price. The service was also very good. The octopus dish was our favorite, with the little circular pasta that was kind of like orzo. It was very fun! We also enjoyed the preserved meats, especially the octopus which was very interesting and we’ve never seen it anywhere else. I’m not sure it’s worth the money, though, but perhaps worth it at least once just to try. We probably would not come again.
It’s located at end of hidden alley along King st. Their patio is small and cute but they have larger interior. The cocktails were overpriced but food was decent. Their service was very polite and helful and staff were friendly. Although we had overall positive experience there, we wouldn’t go back there since the price tag didn’t match the food and scale of the restaurant. They should revisit the menu and prices to attract more traffic there.
Food is delicious, especially recommend the eggplant and tiramisu. Props to Andrew, our bartender, for the great cocktails. Our server Tamara was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back! :)
Went to Buca for V Day (Yes it took me almost a month to process how amazing the food was and write a review)
The burrata pizza our my fave dish of the night - funky truffle, punchy basil, creamy burrata SO GOOD
The prosciutto was delicious, funky, and thicc but man the pickled turnips on the side were the BEST - flavour bombs - we even had to ask for extra!
The ricciola (fish) was spicy and flavourful, and super fresh - INSANITY
The brussel sprouts were also soo goood - crispy with lots of parm and funkiness from the guanciale (aka upgraded bacon) WOW
The mains were just ok (super classic fancy restaurant things). The octopus was super meaty but I wanted more sauce and onions to go with it. The pasta was a little sad - undercooked and soaked in cold flavourless broth. The filling was good but definitely could have been better.
Dessert was amazing though. We had an almond blood orange cake with mascarpone that was AMAZING and HUGE. We took half home and it was still good the next day! The affogato was next level with chocolatey goodness gelato and crunchy biscotti - don’t skip dessert!!
Fantastic dinner. Staff were attentive. Food was delicious. Cocktails were unique. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal
Buca was delicious! We went on the May long weekend and I’m still telling people about how amazing the pizza and gelato was ! I would definitely go back here. The service was excellent as well. Lauren was our server. If you’re downtown and craving pizza, try to get a table at Buca and order the burrata truffle pizza ! Then finish it off with pistachio gelato. It is soooo good !
Really enjoyed everything on the menu. Great service friendly staff cool environment .
Alil hard to find at first but now I know where it is .
There’s a nice vibe in the dining room for Freind’s to hang out and have a nice meal. There’s also a pretty cool private dining room that I’d like to try next time I get a chance to go there
