We stood in line for 15 20 minutes glad we waited this place has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted I had the miso noodles and pigs cheeks wow! Delicious.
Will definitely return to try something different the staff where very nice and the atmosphere was relaxing.
If you like noodles then you have to go here.
This Ramen restaurant is a gem and is a must try. The quality is consistent and authentic in taste. They do not oversaturate there menu with fusion ramen like most places in the city do. A must try especially if you love the swine! Before 12pm and after 230 between the lunch snd dinner rush are the best tim s to go or you risk being in a lineup that sometimes is as long as half a city block. Thumbs all the way up.
Visited Santouka a couple times while in Vancouver and it was good, so gotta try it in Toronto. It certainly did not disappointed. The waiters and waitress were energetic and the service was professional and courteous. When we arrived the restaurant was busy and there was a quejust outside the door; which I personally take as a good sign
The que moved quickly and the customers appeared to be happy and enjoying their experiences.
The staff were polite and efficient. We didn't lack care and attention, nor were they suffocating. Perfect service!

Solid place to eat, been here a couple of times, their atmosphere is fresh, waiters are friendly and courteous, a little crowded though but that's ok :D I highly recommend this place for a solid meal with large portions, noodle, soup base, ingredients are fresh and OOohooooo tasty!

Best Japanese noodles I've had! The staff were courteoys and efficient. The quality and quantity of food was stellar and gets 5 stars from me for sure. I hope they grow into a larger space to allow for a more intimate dining experience.
Just like the ones in Japan where they are also highly regarded! No line-up when I went for a late midweek lunch.
Had the kara miso cha-su ramen with soft noodle. Absolutely delicious, and the bowl holds the heat perfectly.

Lineup is usually long; and would not recommend if you arnt the type to wait for food.
The ramen broth isnt too salty, but still has deep enough flavour.

THE best ramen! I loved everything about their spicy ramen. It's so good! Portions are big, they allow to upgrade to large for extra 1$.
Dine-in is pretty small and has a line to eat in the evening. But it's worth it (or you can try take out)
My family had our dinner here last week. We were 2nd on the line and had only waited for about 5mins. When we got in, they immediately asked us of we need baby chair, they also provided us with cutleries for my baby and toddler. We ordered edamame, Spicy Miso Ramen and Tonkutsu Chasu men. Great food, great place and thumbs up for the service.
What can I say…. Other then this is my favorite ramen anywhere. This is constantly my standard for judging all other ramen places until I find something better….
What I love more, is the consistency of this place— it’s been a little over 6 years since my last visit to Toronto, and yet this place is exactly the way I remember. Their broth is incredible on its own and their marinated eggs are my favorite!
This was my third time eating at a Hokkaido Santouka Ramen and my first time in Toronto. One of the best Ramen I have ever had! I ordered the Miso Ramen and my husband the Ship Ramen, what a dream in form of food! The broth was rich and delicious, the noodles were perfect and the staff is so nice and professional! We'll definitely come back and bring family and friends!
Always love coming here. The spicy Miso soup, the perfect seasoned pork cheek, the noodles with the best texture and the fish cake with the pink swirls. All of that with the seasoned egg. All worth it. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The experience is always good. One of my favorite places to have lunch when working .
