Review Harbour 60 Toronto - Toronto

Nancy Cavazos
We recently had a corporate dinner in one of their private room. The room itself was beautiful, equipped with its own bar, and completely private. I loved the fact the decoration was real flowers. The staff was great, friendly and so ready to help. The food was delicious, we had a set menu but the options were more than enough. Overall a great experience!

An upscale restaurant where the high cost reflects the high quality ingredients. The Korean short ribs which was highly recommended, did not disappoint and were fall off the bone delicious. The scallops beautifully seared. The wedge salad was refreshing, but suggest getting the dressing on the side. The filet was cooked perfectly (the pic says it all) Ordering 2 sides were plentiful for me and my husband. I recommend the truffle fries and the lobster mash. We were so full, we skipped dessert, but drank instead. The wine list is literally a novel. We dined inside the restaurant, although the heated patio was beautifully set up. We were seated in smaller room beside a window that created an intimate ambiance. Unfortunately our server lacked enthusiasm compared to those in the next room. Overall a fantastic experience and definitely will return.

Marvelous! Top-notch quality from top to bottom! It defines the standard of a fine dinning/steak house. I went there to celebrate my gf’s birthday. We loved the atmosphere there. Music wasn't too loud like some others. Every one of their staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent service all around! We ordered oysters, their featured fish and the NY Strip steak. The seafood was as fresh as you can get and the steak was one of the best I have ever had in Toronto. I found the food portion quiet generous too. I would give it a 6-star rating if the sixth star was available 👍

Overall experience was good. The patio decor is beautiful and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good, only down side was the lack of dessert by end of night but they said they had 800 guests that day. Anyways, our waiter who cashed us out bought us the dessert because they didn't have the first 3 that we wanted. Very sweet of him despite insisting for him not to. But we appreciate the gesture. I just hope it was comped by management and not literally out of his pocket.

Absolutely wonderful birthday evening I had the opportunity to spend at this gorgeous place! They truly deliver a fantastic setup on their terrace, as only a few restaurants were operating in the city due to COVID restrictions. And although that particular night weather wasn't the best (as any other cold January in the City) their heaters and terrace set up were incredibly perfect and you could barely even feel you were outside in the middle of the winter. Their attention to detail, their outstanding service and the delectable food, really created a unique experience for me and my friends! It was a fantastic birthday night! Thank you!

Definitely a great dining experience! Made a last minute late lunch reservation for a birthday, thankfully they can accommodate it. We ordered an oyster and truffle parmesan fries for appetizer. Oyster was so fresh! Had burger, tagliatelle pasta and a tomahawk for the mains. Tomahawk was really good ! Cooked perfectly medium rare and served with a black Himalayan salt which interesting. At the end we got some cream brulee. I love how the server paid so much attention to details. Overall its a really great experience.

Everything was great very good service. Love the environment and food was très delicieux. The beef short ribs fall right off the bone and has a very good sauce. Kansas steak was very thick and cooked to perfection. Brussels sprouts were a great side. The dessert was perfectly made with real vanilla ice cream. Looking forward to try the Parmesan fries next time. Thank you Harbour 60 for such an amazing night.

Love going here it is my favourite place. We went early and it was the best food service we’ve ever had. My husband and I had such an amazing experience. Our waitress Barbara was so knowledgeable and friendly. You couldn’t tell when she was refilling out water and wine and that’s talent. She made great suggestions and it was a great outing for us since having our baby before the pandemic hit. A place to go to when you want great service, great food and a beautiful environment.

This is my second time at Harbour Sixty. This Steakhouse is by far one of the best in class. The service is amazing; the decor is super lux. The food is fantastic! The have the best caesar salad I've ever had. I would only go here on special occasions as a result of the price point; it's a high-end Steakhouse but, well worth every dollar spent. Can't wait to go back!

Took my friend here for dinner the other night and the food was great, but the service was even better! I've eaten at many 5 star restaurants but I must say my server here was one of the best I've had the older gentleman was very humble and passionate which made my dinner that much better!

One of the best steak houses I’ve ever been to. Have been there multiple times now and each time every item ordered was perfect. They are one of a very few restaurants that have a grill hot enough to cook a steak the way they do. Food, service and atmosphere are all 2nd to none. Last nights steak made me realize just how good they are. I frequently choose fillet when dining out. None can compare to Harbour 60’s fillet. While at the top end price wise, when thinking back to meals at other restaurants and what they charge for a fillet, Harbour 60 is in line with or cheaper for their fillets. I highly recommend dining at Harbour 60.

I would recommend this place! Amazing food . The service and staff were very welcoming..A shout out to our server Alexandra your recommendation to food and wine was excellent. Service was amazing Thank you

Thanks to a recommendation from the Westin concierge we found Harbour 60 and had a fabulous lunch! Fantastic food, atmosphere & great staff. Can’t recommend highly enough & look forward to coming back one day for dessert!

Enjoyed a late lunch with my best friend and we essentially had the lounge area to ourselves. Though we easily could be have ignored or neglected as the staff recouperated from lunch service or busy preparing for dinner service ... such was not the case. Service was still attentive, personable, and spot on to match the excellent steak frites we enjoyed ... definitely proof of why this is a premiere destination for steak in Toronto. Thanks for another enjoyable dining experience Harbour Sixty!

I’ve never been disappointed with Harbour 60. The steaks are bar none, seafood is just as good, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth their desert menu is off the chain - baked Alaska!! Great vibes on the weekends too for drinks at the bar. One of my staples in the city!!

We went last night for my son’s 10th Birthday celebration and as always the service was on point. We have enjoyed coming for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of food and the service

I must say... I’m usually reluctant to order steak in restaurants because I like them on the well side but I’m so glad I did. It was the best filet I have ever eaten.

Absolutely fabulous. Everything top quality, Steak lovers will not be disappointed. First rate service!!

Truly amazing service at Harbour 60, and the food is worth every penny. Consistently amazing and a perfect place to create a memorable experience. Cheers.

Best of the Best<br/><br/>We recently had finished filming another movie in Toronto and wanted to celebrate another successful project and decided upon an awesome steak.<br/><br/>Harbour Sixty is hands-down the most incredible steakhouse I’ve ever eaten at.<br/>Their bone-in Tenderloin is completely unbeatable.<br/>The flavor that saturated throughout the selection is indescribable and MUST be experienced.<br/>And don’t miss the Shrimp cocktail to start with shrimps the size of small lobster tails and as tender as baby shrimp...<br/>Another awesome selection is their Caesar Salad!<br/>Don’t visit Toronto without experiencing Harbour Sixty!! Seriously!!<br/>Don’t miss this delectable restaurant.

Food is very good (but not outstanding) and service is excellent. However, the price is astronomical - highest I've seen yet in Toronto! In other words its very good but not the greatest value. Hence the 3/5.

Harbour Sixty Steakhouse | Bone-In Rib Steak | Toronto, Ontario || Harbour Sixty is located at Harbour Street and is well known for its steak. I ordered the Bone-In Rib Steak since Rib Steak or Rib Eye is always my go-to steak cut due to its tenderness and marbling, and has become my benchmark steak to compare when visiting steakhouses.

One thing I didn’t expect to be wowed when coming to a steakhouse was their truffle parmigiano fries. The truffle oil was just wafting with aroma as the fries were served, and it has a very strong

Most over-rated steakhouse in Toronto.<br/><br/>This restaurant is tricky to find and is in an old building with a strange layout. Although, I like the traditional decor, the dining room that we were in felt very narrow. I was very surprised that I didn't enjoy my meal at Harbour Sixty. I was even more surprised by how poor the service was. In my opinion, this steakhouse is highly overrated and over priced. I paid much more for my meal at Jacob's Steakhouse and left that steakhouse a very happy customer.<br/><br/>At Harbour Sixty, we were given an antipasto plate. The cheese that they served was the best. It was mild and similar to feta in texture, but creamier and lightly salted. The flavour of the cous cous, however, was overwhelmingly strong in parmesan flavour. Also, the olives they served were not gourmet. We ordered the bone-in rib steak, porterhouse steak, twice-baked potato, mushrooms, and onion rings. The portion sizes of the steaks were far larger than any other steakhouse. Also, the quality of the meat was quite good, being soft in texture and having good beef flavour. The steaks weren't over cooked, but the outer crust on both of our steaks were burnt and tough. Their steaks are cooked under the broiler, and I much prefer char-grilled steaks. I also didn't like that the spice rub they used on the porterhouse steak was overpowering in flavour. The spices didn't taste bad, but when I eat steak, I want to be able to taste pure beef flavour with nothing added other than sea salt and pepper. Good quality steak doesn't need marinating. In terms of the side dishes, in my opinion, the twice-baked potato was nothing special with a one dimensional creamy taste, the mushrooms were too heavily buttered, and the onion rings were bland and crispy as opposed to crunchy (my preferred texture). The onion rings were so unappealing that we barely ate any of them. It would have helped if the onion rings had come with any sort of dip. We didn't try any of their desserts (we usually go to DT Bistro for their incredible desserts and caffeine-free tea).<br/><br/>Most surprisingly, was how bad the service was, considering the dining room wasn't even full. Although our waiter seemingly had a smile and a good attitude, the quality of the actual service that was delivered was very poor. We kept having to ask for our water glass to be refilled, no one ever checked up on us during the meal, and the wait times were long. For example, it took us a while to be able to find our waiter so that we could ask for the bill. Then we had to wait a long time for him to actually hand us the wrong bill. The bill he gave us was for a different table and it was 50% more expensive than what ours was supposed to be. We waited again for him to correct his mistake and then had to wait even longer for him to bring the machine so that we could pay the bill. So, needless to say, I don't plan on returning to Harbour Sixty. I'll happily stick to Jacob's (for special occasions) and Peter's Fine Dining (for a better value).

Attentive, thoughtful service from our waiter Joe; surprisingly abrupt sommelier. Elegant, old-world surroundings. Steaks are huge and sides are delicious. Our ribeyes verged on being too charred, and were different doneness, eventhough we'd requested the same cooking for both steaks. We very much enjoyed the perfectly cooked asparagus with its lemony finish.

This is our go to special occasion place. The steaks are very good and so is the seafood. Be prepared for an expensive night. This place is not for the faint of heart. If you are doing a full meal (appetizer, meal , dessert and wine) be prepared to spend $250 a person.

Their steaks were absolutely phenomenal! As well as their lobster mash, they definitely stuffed in a lot of lobster in there! The truffle fries though were a huge disappointment. There was really nothing special about them at all. I had high hopes to capture the same flavours which Gordon Ramsay serves at his burger joint in Vegas but sadly it did not come close to that. Their heirloom beet salad was phenomenal. I'm drooling just thinking about how wonderful it was. Their Caesar salad was good but I would definitely have to say the beet salad was much more memorable and savoury. Their desserts, omg, the Key Lime Meringue sorbet was sooo delicious!!!! OMG!! It definitely was the icing on the cake! It was spectacular. I also ordered the ice cream sandwich, it was too chocolatey for me and a bit too bold on the peanut butter, but my bf enjoyed it. The service was nice, I think they could kick that up a notch.  :)

Should be infinitely better for the prices charged. I have dined at the Harbour Sixty many times over the years. It has always been overpriced but the food was decent and the atmosphere is lovely. I was not as lucky this time. The Prime Rib was so tough and sinewy I had to send it back. It was also not medium rare as ordered. Our server was absolutely lovely and offered to replace it with another slice or something else from the menu. I decided that roast was not going to improve with another slice so ordered a small filet mignon instead. My dining companion had ordered the filet medium rare and it was delivered extremely rare. Once again the server was extremely accommodating. However now we both had to wait all over again as two new entrees were prepared. I want to emphasize how wonderful the wait staff were. there were no excuses made and they brought out new sides and sauces with the new meals so they would be hot. They also offered a complimentary dessert that we were really too full to order. The prices at Harbour Sixty are really up there ( almost $60 for a 10 oz filet, $30 for a Bloody Caesar yikes! ) While the service was worthy of the price tag the food sadly was not. I've been away from Toronto for a couple of years living in the U.S. where you can have wonderful prime beef at fine restaurants at a fraction of the price charged here so I don't see any reason that Harbour Sixty can't offer better quality meat. I can't say enough good things about the service, the food, not so much.<br/>By the way I submitted this review on Open Table and it wasn't posted. Found out from my son who is a server that the restaurants have some control over the postings and can block under certain circumstances.

Enjoyment. A fantastic meal in an environment of elegance. My dinner was equally rivaled by my surroundings. The staff was attentive and gracious. My dinner was prepared exactly to my liking. Thank you.

The service isnt personable and the lower level dinning area is a freezer in the winter.. I decided to go to this restaurant instead of Jacobs on King Street. Such a disappointment. Although, the wine server is great knows his stuff.<br/><br/>As far as service from sever and the million people that come to your table. I was very disappointed. <br/><br/>Management shouldn't seat anyone on the lower level during winter months especially with the door to the back parking lot opening every 2 minutes. <br/><br/>I called in to make a reservation and I felt like I was calling Pizza Hut terrible service. I thought this was a first class restaurant but it makes typical steakhouses look like world class.<br/><br/>Also, you take the elevator up stairs to only be led back down stairs seriously how stupid is that. Also, because the closet down stairs for coat check is small the hostess suggested we put our coat on the back of are dinning chairs are you serious?????????<br/><br/>Also, if you happen to sit down stairs don't sit near the bar there is a hvac vent that literally blows right above your table. Who would want dust particles, cold air and noise as you're trying to have a romantic dinner.<br/><br/>Seriously, even mc donalds has a better heating/ air condition layout.<br/><br/>Also, my steak was really under cook. got sent back to the kitchen and no manager came out and addressed this issue. <br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Pricing is ridiculous especially for the quality of food and service.

Birthday Dinner!!. Came here for my birthday dinner which was a great choice! The service was great...from the hostess to our server. We were seated in the Main dining room, which was cozy. They brought us bread, olives and a cheese dip which was soooo good, definitely going to try to make the dip at home! I started with the Buffalo Mozzarella which was good. Next I had the New York Strip which was very good! We got 2 sides, asparagus and mash potatoes all so good. For dessert we shared the baked Alaska, definitely a must try! I will most definitely be back here! p.s. ladies check out the washroom hahaha.

Food was nothing amazing. We had a corporate dinner at Harbour Sixty Steakhouse last night. The Atmosphere and service was great, but the food was nothing amazing, they serve tastier steaks at East Side Marios.<br/>My Bosses steak was extremely overcooked, so he sent it back, the server made him seem like an idiot by making him slice his steak into 6 pieces before they would take it back.<br/>The steaks had no flavour, and we ordered A LOT of sides, items and wine, not even their most expensive wine could make the steak taste good. <br/>For a $90+ steak this place is extremely overpriced. <br/>I will never recommend this to anyone. Your better off going to the Keg!
Mark
You get what you pay for. We spent over $500 for dinner for two and yes did go all out, this is what this place is about and the ambiance is like you are on a $100 million yacht and the wine list has bottles that cost more than most peoples annual salary. Had surf and turf and Moet, if you like to spend money and eat like a king, this place is for you.

Mediocre - Over rated.. My wife and I consider ourselves to be foodies. While we don't like to<br/>spend $250-400 at a restaurant ever week, we do enjoy spoiling each<br/>other on occasion.<br/><br/>We both love steak, and pride ourselves in trying the best steakhouses<br/>in the city (and outside of the city).<br/><br/>We our visit to Harbour 60 was well over due.<br/><br/>We decided to spend out 7th year anniversary there this past weekend<br/>and were not impressed.<br/><br/>Service- free valet parking - bonus. But when youre directed into the<br/>back of the restaurant and have no one to welcome you - very odd.<br/>After we managed to find our way upstairs and through two doors we<br/>finally found a hostess. No welcome or hello. Just - reservation? Yes<br/>and thank you.<br/><br/>Even though we were celebrating our anniversary and requested a window<br/>seat at reservation - we get seated in a 5 person booth, despite the<br/>restaurant being only 1/3 full. Oh well.<br/><br/>Waiter - personality of a door knob. No welcome - just trying to rush<br/>us to order. Must have come about 7 times to get our order in 15 mins.<br/>Hello have you seen the wine book? It may take me a few mins to choose<br/>a bottle!<br/><br/>Free apps - amazing bread selection. And amazing chucks of feta. Good job!<br/><br/>Paid apps - lobster bisque - mediocre. Tasted like canned vegetable<br/>soup with chunks of lobster.<br/>Caesar salad - decent, but come on its a Caesar salad.<br/><br/>Steak - we ordered their famous steak, as per recommended by the<br/>waiter, the bone in ribeye.<br/>Ordered medium. Received as rare to medium rare and barely warm.<br/><br/>We're trying to enjoy the evening so we try to eat it but barely can<br/>finish a third because its so cold and undercooked.<br/>I told the waiter that it was cold and ill take it home to cook it<br/>properly to see if he'll get the joke - but no. He says. "Okay." And<br/>brings it back in a box.<br/><br/>Dessert - we order the donuts. Pretty good but who can screw up fresh<br/>donuts? The caramel sauce was amazing though.<br/><br/>And again - this is the first restaurant I've ever been to on our<br/>anniversary that we were not presented with a complimentary dessert or<br/>glass of champagne etc. not looking for freebies but still, would a<br/>happy anniversary kill them?<br/><br/>All in all - nice location. Nice place. But bad service and bad food,<br/>especially for what you pay.<br/><br/>Not impressed.<br/><br/>Ps - excuse my spelling and grammar as I'm using my iphone. Thx.

Just Ok.. What can I say about the place? It's good..but just good. It's not great. I had the fillet mignon with mashed potatoes, string beans. The appetizer was a bit of a olive/feta/horseradish mix which was ok. The bread with that was ok, a bit hard.<br/><br/>They had valet parking but it was borderline for show, no real need for it. As for the steak..again good but not amazing as was expected for the price.<br/><br/>I think that Toronto and its BS steakhouses are starting to get on my nerves. We don't have classy places here...de don't..don't kid yourselves. If you've ever eaten in NYC you KNOW there is NO comparison.<br/><br/>Good effort..not worth the money and overall ok food.<br/><br/>I can eat at the keg for a lot less money for the same (if not a bit better) food quality.
ChocolatSaltyBalls
Not worth the price although it is good meat.
CMR
Expensive, but for great quality and HUGE portions. I really liked this place. The service was good. The ambiance is really nice, but it's a much older crowd and much classier than the Keg.<br/><br/>The marbled steaks are delicious. The prices are quite high... maybe $65 for a steak and up. However, the portions are also 2-3x the size of what you'd find in the typical steak chain restaurants, so you're getting much better quality than a place like the Keg, but also 2x the portion. <br/><br/>I think the price was really ridiculous for veggies though... $12 for asparagus? REALLY???

Oh my goodness this place is amazing. The steak is to die for And the service is remarkable. Highly recommended.

LOVED IT. Food 10/10<br/>Service 9/10<br/>Atmosphere 9/10<br/>The food was fantastic. I started off with the calamari, and it was fantastic especially the sauce. My wife had the shrimp tempura and it was also fantastic. For our main courses we both had the 10 oz new york medium and it was cooked to perfection and the salt was just enough that it made it delicious. On the side we got the creme spinach and the french fries and they were both ridiculously good. Finally came dessert and I got the molten chocolate lava cake and my wife got the peach cobbler and both of those deserts were fantastic. In my previous visits the food has been very consistent. My favourite desert at harbour 60 is still the coconut creme pie. I highly recommend harbour 60. It is a little pricey however 100% worth it.

Big portion. Everything was just OK, and the portion was huge!!!!

Phenomenal!. First off, anyone who reviews this place poorly needs to get their head examined. This probably one of the best restaurants in Toronto. The bar is amazing with only the top tier liqures, wines and drinks available. No cheap stuff here. The ambiance is just incredible with the valet parking, to the elevator service to your table and the waiters/waitresses are very attentive and on the ball. The food is just remarkable. Be prepared to spend money folks. This is no cheap venue and cheapskates need to steer clear. Food os cooked to perfection and there isn't one thing on the menu that isn't good. I enjoyed my night with my wife and was very satisfied. People who complain about this place need to go back to Kelsey's or McDonalds because they do not know what good food / drinks are. Cheers.
GG
Not worth the price. Service was good, but not excellent. Food quality was good but preparation was poor. If you like zero seasoning and a bland visual experience you might give it higher ratings. Went here with a group. Very dissappointing. Quality of meat cuts was excellent which give this a bit higher rating but not really prepared to memorable taste. So bland I think the meat wasn't seasoned at all. Meat was on a plain white plate with nothing to add visual appeal on the plates. Family style veggies were bland and tasted frozen and not really fresh as one would expect from such a high priced restaurant. Would not recommend and won't be returning. 2 of 5 spoons

Mediocre.. So I voted that I didn't like Harbour Sixty, but I can't say that I hated the experience. If I had never had dinner at a steakhouse before, I might have been more accepting of the food. In an overview, everything was all glitz and glamour, with very little to show for. The venue is beautiful. Valet parking, coat check, huge displays of expensive wine bottles. And I couldn't believe how big the venue was. You have to take an elevator to the dining room, and next to it is a large bar area lit in cool blue lighting. Just looking at it make me want to order a drink.<br/><br/>Okay so back to the food. If I could only use one word to sum up all the food of the night, it'd be SALTY. I started with the tuna tartare. Everything except the tuna was heavy on sodium. But at least the freshness of the tuna made up for it. The creamed spinach and truffled mac and cheese sides were a different story. Extremely salty, and there was nothing to balance it off but thick creamy cheese. It wouldn't have been so bad if the steak was more netural in flavour, but unfortunately the steak on its own was already sufficiently seasoned. The Ribeye that we ordered was cooked perfectly to our rare request, but the quality of the meat was mediocre. There was a tough tendon that ran through the entire steak, and I was literally sawing away each time at the plate to eat it. <br/><br/>So bottom line is. If you have the money to spend on a meal at Harbour Sixty, then take your money somewhere else like Jacobs and Co. They serve steaks that will wow you.

Steak Houses in Toronto Sucks!. Sorry to have to say this but just about every high-end steak houses - H60, Jacob, etc. simply don't measure up in value, quality, service and giving a memorable dining experience. The steak houses in the mid-west US are simply the best - Chicago Chop House, Gibson, St. Elmo etc. I just hate it when I pay sky high prices in Toronto for a steak and feel ripped off each time. Are we that in-adequate and un-sophiscated to have a top notch dependable steak house that I can bring visitors to?
TIM BOUSQUET
Bad ... avoid!!!!. I do not understand why people still patronize this bad restaurant. Overpriced, non-creative food, too salty. Service is often rude, waitresses don’t know the menu, and have no idea of what will be on the plate. For half the price you can find much better steakhouse in Toronto.
Morgan
Cheap service. I visit here frequently for dinner, especially with work clients. For my boyfriend's birthday this past weekend, I pre ordered a coconut cream pie. (If you have read any reviews, you will know the coconut cream pie is legendary) The waitress charged me $14 at the bar - realizing when I got back to my condo this was the price of one slice of pie, not one full pie. Having worked in the service industry many moons ago I called the restaurant to let them know the mistake (and save the waitress's head later in the night)<br/><br/>The SAME waitress answered the phone, and chose to quickly correct her mistake by having me give my card over the phone to her and voiding the previous purchase. Obviously I expected to pay the full price, would not have called in otherwise, but barely even got a thank you from her. From such a high-end restaurant, I would expect much better service, especially considering they had been the ones to make the mistake in the first place.<br/><br/>With all the restaurants of this caliber you can dine at in Toronto, I would not choose this one again, purely because this service experience was so off-putting.
Diner From Aurora
Serious disappointment. I have never written online reviews about anything but had to post something after dining at this restaurant. Chose this place for a celebration night out. While the service was excellent the food left a lot to be desired. What a colossal disappointment! Lobster bisque had absolutely no flavour. Halibut was overcooked and came with a mayonnaise-laden pile of something indiscernible on top and the boiled fingerling potatoes were hard. My partner ordered a medium-rare steak that came out blue rare. Can't believe the price they charged for this disappointing meal. We won't be back.

As good as it gets. No flaws here. Amazing service, amazing meat, amazing ceasers! You will spend a lot of money here but will be very happy about it.

Great Everything. Food is awesome, great wines, service couldn't be better. One of my favorite places to enjoy a dinner out and relax!

Good steakhouse. Good steak house , old school service , pricey wine list , the sides are huge <br/><br/>very nice comfortable space.
Food Lover
Poor experience. The rib eye was cold and had to be sent back. The Sommelier was too arrogant to spend anytime explaining anything to us and refused to bring us a decanter for our wine choice. He also poured the wine in our butter and bread while he was filling our glass. There are many other steak houses in town that give you a better value for your money.

Good Food Great Service. No complaints about the food. Yes it is on the high side but the portions are big, especially the side dishes. Plenty of side dishes and desserts to choose from the menu. The wine list is enormous.<br/>Sat in the vintages room (great atmosphere). The servers were very good and very freindly. The place gets very busy on the weekends, especially before hockey games. Will go again!

Overpriced!!!!!. Decided to go to Harbour Sixty with my husband for our fifth year anniversary. Seeing as I don't have a big appetite, we decided to share a meal. We ordered the surf and turf (filet and lobster tail) with 2 sides (garlic mashed poptatoes and button mushrooms). I must say that the serving sizes are enormous, and even sharing we still brought some home. For the high price you pay, I would expect that we get our steak done to perfection the first time. Not so, we ordered medium well, but it came totally rare in the centre and had to be returned. The lobster tail was large and delicious, the mushrooms were good, but nothing spectacular and the mashed potatoes left alot to be desired.......very bland and reminded me of "powdered" potatoes. We then moved on to deserts, banana chocolate soufle and creme brulee and both were delicious. My husband had 2 beers and I had one vodka drink. We were expecting to pay quite a bit for our meal, but were shocked when we got the $300 bill!!!! (We didn't know the price for the lobster tail, beer or vodka drink before the bill). Imagine if we would have eached ordered a steak dinner! All in all, although the meal was good (after the steak was re-cooked), it was definately not worth the price. This meal was not any better than the one we get at the Keg.

Review of Harbour Sixty Steakhouse. My favourite restaurant in the whole world. A spectacular place, 9.99 out of ten. Just a whirlwind of gastronomical excitement. When you arrive, you come into the lobby. You get to see all the fine spirits; such as The Macallan 55. Very impressive. Also there are empty bottle of notable vintages of win and spirits. You walk into the restaurant itself through their wine cellar, which is a massive treat for an oenophile like myself. We sit down at this lovely table with comfortable chairs; important to me. There was cheese and olives there; they were good. We ordered the pan-seared foie gras, which was the first time I had the delicassy, and I loved it. Our waiter was amazing. Personal stories and a lively character made his presence enjoyable to all. They had a sommelier, which I found spectacular, and he really seemed to like me. I gave me a free glass of wine; and I appreciated it because all the wine at Harbour Sixty is high-end; my kind of drink. They have a massive leather book filled with their wines. Amazing stuff; Petrus, Screaming Eagle, Margot, Haut-Brion, La Tache, it was amazing. I had a 10-oz. filet mignon, and we all ordered sides. What they do is they just give you your steak, fish, etc. and then you order independent sides to go with it. I had the Mac and Cheese and the French Fries. Good stuff; I was blown away. Also on the table was asparagus and baked potato; and H60 made me like (at least temporarily) asparagus ( I typically don't like it)! My brother had pasta, my dad had halibut (he says it's the best fish he's ever had), and my mom had a steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, and was tasty. When you're done a course, a team of waiters swarms the table and scoops off the crumbs, and the way they do it makes you feel like a king or queen. For desert, I had a great Crème brûlée. My mom had a molten chocolate cake and she said she enjoyed it. My brother and dad had s'mores. I was impressed because they brought the usual s'mores ingredients but also a flaming ball of jellied alcohol! These guys also have a great drinks list. Some of the stuff on it was: Woodford Reserve, Crown Royal Extra Rare, Patron Platinum, Hendrick's, Grey Goose, Appleton Estate, and the aforementioned Macallan 55(!). Good beer selection; domestic stuff (meh) but also premium beer: Alexander Keith's, Moosehead, Creemore Springs, etc. Good imported beer: Heineken, Stella Artois, Corona, Innis & Gunn, etc. Surprisingly, though, they don't have Sapporo beer, and even more shockingly, Pingus wines. EXCELLENT CHAMPAGNES!! Krug, Dom Perignon, Perrier-Jouet, etc. BEST PLACE IN CANADA!

Superb restaurant! Will be back!

Wow... What an amazing experience this place is - a little costly but you get what you pay for ! The food was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was also exceptional, our head server Joe was extraordinary he looked after our needs. We had great wine, great food, great company and the atmosphere was beautiful - what else do you need - a great classy place. <br/>I was wondering if anyone can help me in finding the little cookies they serve after your meal with you coffee - it has Valrhona chocolate.... I was told they are made specially for Sixty, but was also told they are selling them at a coffee store not far from there. Thank you for a great evening and our next time in TO we will visit again.

Steak.. This was likely our 4th visit and the steak was, as always before, superb - 1 rib eye and 1 bone-in fillet. Sides serve 2 people - fresh peas (that lacked seasoning), and lobster mash (that lacked nothing). Molten chocolate cake - exactly as on the label.<br/>Carmelo was our most professional and pleasant waiter - ask for him, listen to his advice and you will likely be well pleased.<br/>Okay, drinks and wine are outrageously expensive (e.g., a factor of 7 over LCBO cost for Johnnie Black) so decide in advance to toss money in the air, drink tap water, or avoid the place all together.<br/>Having known in advance as to the high costs, we just let it happen at $217 food, $15 water/coffee, $192 wine/drinks plus tax and tip.<br/>If you are planning your first visit, be sure to ask about available seating as some tables are in the bar, others are along the servery. All are fine, just know in advance so that you are not disappointed if you expected the main dining room.

Excellent wine selection, great food!. Harbour Sixty is a Toronto institution. The food is excellent and the staff are truly among the best in the city. The bar scene here is one of the best, especially if you like bacon like I do. The cones of double-smoked bacon that they have at the bar instead of peanuts are irresistible and will keep you drinking, but it is worth it. The bartenders here do not skimp, and they know exactly how to treat their customers. If you are a single diner, you will love their bar.<br/><br/>The wine selection is one of the best in the city and the sommelier is friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to share his vast experience with his customers.<br/><br/>The desert selection is incredible, I highly recommend the coconut cream pie, the lemon tart, or for something especially unique, the campfire s'mores, complete with tabletop campfire.<br/><br/>Of course, the cuts of meat are excellent. The bone-in filet is a favorite. They also have one of the largest (if not the largest) filet mignons in the city at 14oz. Usually served slightly undercooked, but who can blame them, I wouldn't want to ruin a piece of meat like that either.

Call me crazy but I just didn't like it. Can barely remember what I ordered that's how plain I found it. Our server was clearly new and messed up everything from our drinks to our apps and our meals. She didn't know much about the menu and couldn't answer many questions about the wine. I would try it out again hoping our experience was isolated though I definitely feel a server needs to be on his or her game working at a restaurant like Harbour Sixty; in this instance the service compromised the experience.

Quality has decreased in the past few months. Staff is hit or miss. Food quality varies from very good to so-so. If management has changed things this year (2011), they are not working!

Worth Every Cent. Though it is incredibly expensive, Harbor Sixty is the easily one of the best restaurants in Toronto. The shear ascetic beauty is breathtaking and the service is impeccable. Save up and treat yourself to a visit. Be sure to get the Molten lava cake or the coconut cream pie to finish off a meal that you will crave until your next visit.

Great... Expensive. Prepare to be impressed by food and service, but you will be separated from a lot of your money!

I had read all the reviews and decided that I would try Harbour 60 for my 1st wedding Anniversary. Being a foodie, I was sure that the insanely high prices would guarantee a first class experience and some incredible food which wasn't exactly the case. First thing that disappointed was that there was noone to valet park our car which is something they advertise and it's actually hard to figure out where to park your car since they share a lot with other businesses. When we walked inside and told the Hostess, she asked for our keys and said she would take care of it. Fantastic until 5 minutes later when she showed up at our table and gave our keys back saying "sorry, I couldn't find him either." Nice.<br/> I expected the food to be expensive but $22.00 for a martini and $27.00 for a glass of Chardonnay is just plain price gouging. The food was great and so was the service but when it came time to order dessert, we were shocked to learn that the Baked Alaska was not available and I had been dreaming about it all week! This was their signature dessert! They told me that they sold out on Saturday and they have no pastry chef on Sundays. Nice. I explained that this was a main reason for coming here and reluctantly ordered 2 other desserts. When the dessert arrived, they had written "Happy Anniversary" in icing on the plate. Disappointing and tacky. Would it really have killed them to give us a free dessert? Final bill = $400.00 This is not a way to impress first time customers.

This has to be the best steak in toronto. Great atmosphere. A real steak treat. everything top notch.

Leafs game and a steak. Usually go before or after a Leafs game. Makes up for the game. Like the steaks, like the atmosphere. Almost always a good time.

For $500.00 a couple, you should be able to get medium rare.. Since medium-rare is an easy task for an amatuer griller, I was not happy to receive a medium-well filet. Service was lackluster when evident at all.. A dinner at Harbour 60 is a good example of how a fool and his money are soon parted. Judging by the rating, there are a lot of fools in TO.

Fantastic! Worth the money for a big occasion. I just ate here with my boyfriend last night and let me say that the food was absolutely fantastic! We are both fairly new professionals and the menu is probably the priciest dinner I've ever bought for us, but I absolutely think it was worth it.<br/>Breaking down our order we got:<br/>- 1 caesar salad (large enough to share and then some!)<br/>- 1 salmon dinner<br/>- 1 10 oz filet mignon<br/>- half a bottle of the cheapest ($30) cab sauvignon<br/>- one side order of the truffle mac and cheese to share<br/>- one side order of the mashed potatoes to share<br/><br/>We also were given a large selection of bread, butter, olives, and feta cheese as soon as we sat down.<br/><br/>Our waiter was fantastic, the restaurant was gorgeous, and I must say I enjoyed myself very much!<br/><br/>The food was absolutely delicious- I did not have a problem with one item that we ordered. If I were to do it again, I think we would order a selection of sides and share them, as they are very generous portions and it would save us a bit of money. I wish I would have had room for dessert, because they all looked amazing.<br/><br/>All in all, a pricey restaurant but I'm willing to eat like a university student for a week or two to make up for it :) Well done, Harbour Sixty!

My favourite steakhouse. I have eaten here many times and have never been dissapointed. The service is always impecable - they are both knowledgable and down-to-earth. <br/><br/>The steaks are melt-in-your-mouth tender. Sides are always delicious, though with the size of some of their steaks, not always necessary. Be sure to share amongst several people. Their salad starters are always great.<br/><br/>You are never rushed, the meal is served at a liesurely pace, and the ambience reminds me of a gentleman's club from the 50's - very warm and intimate, but upscale.<br/><br/>Pricey, for sure - but well worth every penny.

Prime rib look like it's from the flintstones. This place is pretty damn good maybe priced a little steep for what you get. Would most definatly go for Jacobs on top of this. But still a great venue

A steakhouse disastor. Given its association with Ottawa politico trash, we should have been warned off. But off we went to celebrate our anniversary and be greeted by a bevy of Jennifers, Amandas, and whomever that would have made Jack Astors in Burlington proud. But we weren't in Burlington; this was supposed to a first rate big city steakhouse. After being introduced our servers dutifully disappeared only when we requested them to take our dirty dishes. As to the food the steak was overcooked and dried out. The tuna requested to be cooked medium rare arrived raw and cold, naturally. And that was after an inordinate wait between appetizers and the main course. Give this restaurant a miss.

I've eaten here many times, always very good service and food. Maybe it was the company I was keeping...

W Hotel Meets Steakhouse. Sometimes you just need to be lucky instead of smart. Like showing up at Harbour 60 two days after its reopening from an extensive remodelling. Think "W Hotel", except with better lighting.<br/><br/>My colleague and I chose to eat at the bar. (The hostess stated "the waiters in the dining room are men; in the bar you're waited on by women".) Duh.<br/><br/>Any bar that has Bulldog Gin or Tito's Vodka on the same shelf has got my attention; this one had both. The martinis were delightful and the service impeccable. The expansive wine list included an hard-to-find Lebanese wine - another bonus point.<br/><br/>My colleague chose the halibut and was completely delighted. My petit filet mignon was prepared perfectly; it's been a while since a steak melted in my mouth like that one. <br/><br/>Service was impeccable: respectful, timely, yet never rushed. Laura, Jenn and Amanda were expert in their knowledge and service.

For our appetizers, we ordered Calamari and Ahi Tuna Tartar. For our mains, we both ordered Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini on the side to share. And for our drinks, we ordered a glass of wine each. We were expecting high quality food based on the reviews and the price for everything we ordered, but we were we in for a surprise. Classy interior design in the dining area. Bread served with butter and a side of olives, pickled peppers and feta cheese. Calamari ($22). Spicy Buttermilk Fried Calamari with Sea Salt and Lemon Aioli.  After placing our orders, the waiter came back in less than 5 minutes with the Calamari. We surprised how at how fast it came out because usually it should take at least 15 minutes to freshly prepare a new batch, especially at a high-end restaurant. The calamari wasn't hot, fresh or crispy. The texture was more on the soggy side, as if the calamari was sitting out and just reheated. There is without a doubt that the dish was pre-made and possibly sitting under a heating lamp. Definitely a bad start to our meal.

After completely devouring the crab cakes and bread our steak arrived shortly. The first time I came here I ordered the Porterhouse Steak ($60) I highly recommend going with that as your first time choice here! It's a huge portion though.. This time around I ordered something smaller and simpler to see if they could make the simple taste expensive: the 10oz Filet Mignon ($55). Lina ordered the New York Strip Steak ($65) which is slightly larger than my 10oz. The steaks come on a hot plate so be careful!

When The Fiance and I graduated from university, a group of mutual friends planned to celebrated with dinner at Harbour Sixty. Then we looked at the menu and realized that as new grads, the steak was a little out of our budget. Now, being employed, one of the best perks is being able to splurge on a meal.

The service is impeccable; it's one of those places where you feel like you're a celebrity dining alongside celebrities. I've been here a few times and every time is a fantastic dining experience - from the exciting food to the tantalizing drinks.

Habour Sixty has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while, but seeing as it's not an inexpensive meal I've been holding off. To a point where I almost forgot that I wanted to try it. That is until a month ago when I wrote up my review on Jacobs and Co . People started asking me how it compared to  Habour Sixty , and it was like a lightbulb lit-up in my mind. I thought to myself "I must make time to try this!" And so I did, and the rest is history. Harbour Sixty Steakhouse If you're arriving by car and worry about where you'll need to park, then you can rest at ease. Patrons of Harbour Sixty get complimentary valet parking. A nice touch! Harbour Sixty patio I absolutely loved this bar. Contemporary and brightly illuminated with cool blue lights. I felt a need to walk right up to it and order a drink to look cool. Table bread and a variety of parings Ahi Tuna ($25) -wasabi, avocado, sesame seeds As s starter we opted

And if the world had truly ended on December 21, I would have been supremely pleased with my choice of Harbour Sixty as my last meal on earth.

girl meets steak :Harbour Street: I have an intense and passionate relationship with steak. I love it. What's a girl to do then when her time is up and she hasn't tried all the steakhouses.  Simple, she turns to her friends to help her narrow down the field. Sidebar: Of the ones I have tried, I loved House of Chan .  I like Ruth's Chris  and I enjoy  mainstream joints like the Keg and Canyon Creek.  I'm not a fan of Morton's or Le Biftheque. My shortlist was Jacobs, Ruby Watch Co, Barberians and Harbour Sixty.  I surveyed 100 Facebook friends and Harbour Sixty won the majority by 1 vote, Barberians was second and Jacobs was third.  I nixed the latter since most people raved about the table caesar.  Greens are secondary to me. Minnie and I headed to Harbour Sixty on my Final Friday (in Toronto), and it couldn't have been a more perfect finale.  I'd go back for an encore if I could. It was one of the best meals I've had - starting with the impeccable service.  Comfortable, not stiff; pol

Mixology hasn’t really gone too far in Toronto the way it has, say in Vancouver or Seattle. However, I’m seeing more and more hints these days that Torontonians are starting to get into their cups a bit more seriously. Now, I can’t really count myself as

AMAZING food and drink selection! I personally do not eat steak but my boyfriend said it was perfect. I had the halibut and to this day i dream of this meal. It was mouth watering. The baked Alaska is really cool desert and the seafood tower is epic for groups to share. The restaurant itself is ok in presentation. It looks more suited for business meetings and old rich men.

My bf and I came here after reading great reviews online. For our appetizers, we ordered Calamari and Ahi Tuna Tartar. For our mains, we both ordered Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini on the side to share. We were expecting high quality food based on the reviews and the price for everything we ordered, but we were in for a surprise.<br/><br/>After placing our orders, the waiter came back in less than 5 minutes with the Calamari. The calamari wasn't hot, fresh or crispy. The texture was more on the soggy side, as if the calamari was sitting out and just reheated. Definitely a bad start to our meal. The Ahi Tuna Tartar was another terrible dish, worse than the calamari for sure. The Ahi Tuna was warm and the flavours of the sauce were just bad. <br/><br/>Now for the Filet Mignon, we both ordered our steaks medium rare and the outer edges were fine but the center of the steak was too raw for us, and the outside crust of the steak was really dry and overcooked. One thing I noticed when eating my steak was that I tasted a lot of curry flavour. I'm not sure if the steak was meant to have a curry taste, but I definitely tasted it and it wasn't pleasant at all. No steak should be served with curry flavour unless it was stated directly on the menu.<br/><br/>We had a terrible dining experience at Harbour Sixty and we couldn't understand how this restaurant received many great reviews. Either the chef on duty was severely slacking that day or that this is the norm for the restaurant. We've been to several high-end restaurants and never have we experienced such distasteful food, especially the extra added curry flavour on the steak. It's extremely unbelievable at how much money we spent on poor quality food. I don't recommend this restaurant to anybody considering it because there are tons of steakhouses, such as Jacobs & Co Steakhouse, that offer top quality food at almost the same price.

Impeccable service. Staff was very friendly. Knowledgeable, had the extensive wine list explained to us. <br/>Upscale atmosphere. At this famous steakhouse, had the steak of course. Was cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was ok. Really enjoyed the creme brulee.<br/>Great place to bring a date or family or business clients.
