A very nice experience with a very good breakfast sandwich. We got the “Peameal Bacon on a Bun” and it was simple but very tasteful. The bacon is high quality and full of flavor. I loved it and I would like to try all the other things too.
It doesn't look like much. However, it is a no-frills Peameal bacon sandwich with some mustard and tomato sauce. This is my first time eating Peameal bacon. I would say it has lived up to the hype for me. Overall, it is reasonably priced and a great place for people who just came to Toronto and want
Had to get the iconic peameal sandwich from here and it was pretty good! It's really just a bunch of meet sandwiched in a bun but definitely yummy
Whenever we came to St. Lawrence market we bought peameal bacon buns from here, like a tradition now LOL
Green P parking has Saturday special, $1 per hour for the first 2 hours.
We went looking for this place after watching Antony bourdain a while ago.
Delicious food, bread, Iced tea and service :)
The peameal bacon sandwich on a kaiser roll at Carousel Bakery is the epitome of sentimental old Toronto for me (as someone who grew up in the area). I remember it being really salty, as a kid. It’s now become a more balanced saltines. I crave it every time I return - it’s a nostalgic, comfort food
Very unfriendly girl taking the orders
They don’t take CC and the charge an extra $7 for withdrawal money from the ATM next to them
I tried the famous peameal bacon sandwich it was good
It might be famous, but for me was a checked
Never again
The service was fine, staff seems friendly but the peameal bacon sandwich is a hard pass. It's pretty much dry ham on a bun. Don't get pulled in by the hype on this one
