Simply The Best
I just cannot fault this restaurant. The food is amazing, fresh, generous portions and delicious. Had a “special” starter of pork belly with a super salad. Service and atmosphere just make you keep going back. Go here every time I visit Toronto.
Amazing place for someone who want to indulge into classic Italian goodness. I loved the burratta salad with proscuitto was to die for. There is a wide range of antipasti and main course reminds me of my backpacking trip to Maranello. Brought back foodie memories. Love the place for a friendly gathering.
I came here with a group of friends recently for dinner. Busy restaurant on a Friday and I can understand why. Our sever was friendly and made great suggestions from the menu.
We ordered the Fresca Focaccia to start and were surprised by how large of a portion size it came out in. It was very good and we quickly finished it. For mains, I ordered the Amalia pasta without the prosciutto and added mushrooms. The cream sauce was really good and the pasta was stuffed with spinach and ricotta. Excellent dish. I also tried the Penza (with a very good creamy tomato sauce) and Udine pastas which were equally delicious. All of the pastas were cooked perfectly al dente.
I was happy to learn that all of the sauces and doughs are prepared al minute (prepared per order, not pre-made).
Very happy with our dining experience at Grazie and will be returning.
Great Italian restaurant especially if you want to go there in a big group.

dre: I met up with some old coworkers for dinner at Grazie at Yonge and Eglinton. I ordered the Nico pasta ($19) - Pappardelle with sautéed veal strips, sundried tomatoes & mushrooms in a veal jus with a touch of cream. I am a sucker for pappardelle! The dish was really good. I shared a chocolate banana cake. It wasn't too sweet and the flavours were yummy!
I visited with 3 friends on a busy Friday night. It was about a 20 minute wait for a table, and a bit loud with a full house and a lot of chatter (nothing against the restaurant, just information), but our server was seriously wonderful: friendly, attentive, joked around with us appropriately.
It was my first time to this restaurant, and unfortunately I am disappointed with the dish I ordered. I got pasta with mushrooms, procuitto and a butter sauce, and it was very watery and salty. But the other three really enjoyed their meals, so it was just mine.
The price was similar to other restaurants in the area.
Ultimately, a very popular restaurant, great service, food hit or miss depending on the dish.
As a visitor to Toronto and once lived in the city this restaurant was the best and most outstanding in all categories we have had this trip.
Sadly there are many restaurants in Toronto is only surviving on a name and NOT quality or value.
You Will Not be disappointed and don't have to think twice by going to this restaurant...Superb Service, Food Quality, Value and all staff!!
Also noted, we went for dinner and never felt rushed although the place was packed and people were awaiting tables.
Nice cosy place with an otherwise very friendly and warm staff. Pizza was delicious and soft. Generous portions. We ordered aglio olio spaghetti but we couldn't feel any presence of garlic whatsoever. I hate it when staff won't even try to think that maybe they missed out on it. Presentation was good.
really enjoyed this place: nice service, prices are a little bit high -but it is ok for the location. also, i got the dessert free after i subscribed for their wifi. will repeat.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto. Bustling venue. You might encounter some wait time before you find a table. Note on weekends they do not accept reservations for dinner. A good wine collection. Do not miss the tiramisu!

Good Italian joint. Had the Nico pasta which was very tasty. The pizza was nice and light. Would definitely recommend this place.
I usually come here with my friends. It's a great consistent Italian restaurant. There is nothing innovative about it, it is quite traditional.
My friend and I shared the Nato Pizza and the salad with Prosciutto, crostini, fresh parmesan cheese, and sliced pears atop a bed of arugula with a vinaigrette dressing.
The pizza was good, nothing exceptional. The crust was crunchy but it was not on par with the pizza at Il Fornello.
The salad was also good but similar to salads I've had before.
The server was not overly nice but he already split my friend's and my bill, which was appreciated.
All around a decent Italian place.
It was my boyfriend who have been raving about this Italian Restaurant at Yonge & Eglinton which led me visiting Grazie. One bite of their Gnocchi and I fell into addiction. The stepping stone theory is often used to describe people using another substance such as a drug or alcohol. I say the stepping stone theory can be applied to anything such as clothes, cars and even food. Grazie's pasta is the "Gateway Pasta" that will lead you to wonder and search for other Italian restaurants that uses fresh pasta noodles and revisit your vacation list. Their pizza is pretty awesome as well!
The service is good to excellent. It can become very busy. This is currently my favourite Italian restaurant in Toronto.
I love this place! Whenever I'm craving delicious pasta and good wine, this is my top choice. There are so many authentic Italian dishes to choose from and their combinations are so good it makes choosing very difficult. They only serve calamari on Wednesdays which is why my rating isn't higher. Their prices are reasonable and their staff is knowledgeable. Also try the tiramisu! Wish I left room for it last night!
Love this place because it's consistently good every time, has an amazing selection of Italian food on the menu and all of the items sampled have been delicious.
It's a busy and boisterous place but that's what we expect for Italian. The funghi focaccia is literally to die for, so so good and a must try!
We are Italian. And this is the real deal fellas. I have eaten twice at this location in the past month. Both times the service was excellent! The food is good... I loved the chicken & salad and fell in love with the French toast.
Tastey pasta, well cooked. Plenty of variety. Fair cost and well located. Loved the Penza :)

One of my go-to restaurants in TO. I have been eating here for over 10 years now and not once have I had a bad meal. Everyone I bring here just loves it too! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion-sizes. (The prices are similar to East Side Mario's and there is NO comparison). Some servers are friendlier than others but I've never had a problem with any of them. Expect to wait for a table but it will be worth it!
Grazie (North Toronto) always delivers!. This is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Toronto. The food is very consistent and reasonably priced. Although they don't accept reservations and the it's always packed, I think the wait is well worth it. It's packed for a good reason!! I've always had a good experience with the service too.
No words to describe!. The best restaurant experience! it was my fiance's bday and it was a very busy dinner time. I tried to get our waiter and ask for a cake with candle and NO songs please, but I couldn't catch him. I ended up telling it to some other employee, and was stressed out that he will forget or it won't happen or we will end up getting a song or whatever, it was packed. Our waiter Bob got my message, caught the perfect moment to bring the cake, and it was made as he was reading my mind. Service was on high level, food delicious as always! RECOMMENDING!
I don't have enough good things to say about this restaurant. My wife and I are very picky eaters and will only eat at places with high ratings here on Urban Spoon. Since we found this place we have eaten there 3 times and is our default recommendation to any friends looking for a great place to eat. Best best best place to eat at Yonge and Eg
Great pasta. I've been here afew times, I really like the pasta and the service was great :)
Old faithful. Been going to Grazie at Yonge/Eg for 15 years. The reason is simple: solid, mid-priced Italian that is quality and pretty consistent. Catrina is my favorite comfort pasta in the city.
Warm, cozy atmosphere with high quality food fairly priced. A favorite hangout spot on the weekends for dinner and drinks.
Great Pizza. Wonderful thin crusted flavourful pizzas. Did not care much for the pasta. Actually, never ordering the pasta again but the pizzas shall stay!
Good portions and delicious. Had the bruschetta pizza first, then the spaghetti with mussels and the spinach pasta with pancetta and chicken. It's super busy though so it's a little of a wait. But it's modestly priced and satisfying. Delicious!
My Favourite Spot. I love this place! It is cozy and family friendly. The food is delicious and the staff are amazing. It is a great neighbourhood gem.
I like how they spread our the pastas into different categories (tomato sauces, tomato and cream sauces, and the oil sauces) on the menu because I have an allergy and it is very helpful finding the right choice.
I went with the baked goat cheese salad and it was so delicious! Probably one of the best on the menu. I order the Torino which is a ravioli in a rose sauce with green onions, it is heavenly.
Only downside Grazie is it gets a little loud when it is really busy. It doesn't have very good sound management but the food and service makes up for it.
Food&Service Delicious, But Very Loud!. I went to Grazie on a Friday evening around 6pm and we were seated right way. Waiters were very friendly from the start, and very attentive. The food was FABULOUS (made to order so it's always fresh). I had the Heritage Tomatoe salad to start (one of their specials for the day) with beautiful sweet, fresh tomatoes. Friend had the focccia with prosciutto which was freshly baked and melted in your mouth. We all had different pastas, each one cooked to perfection. It was, however, VERY loud inside. This was due to the music being played a little too loud, as well as the family atmosphere which included very young children and a couple of individuals with loud laughs resulting from too much wine probably (wine was fabulous as well so you can't really blame them!). Will definitely be going back!
It's good but not incredible. I enjoy it on occasion but there are better Italian places on the neighbourhood.
Great Italian for great price. For $15, I can't imagine getting a better plate of pasta. I've tried about four or five by now and have yet to be disappointed. The spinach and chicken in garlic/olive oil sauce is my recommendation.
Biggest con is how busy it is, but that's a testament to its quality. Because the restaurant is almost always full, you should go in with the expectation that your servers, although extremely polite, are serving many tables and thus won't be as attentive as a small boutique restaurant.
Great food, polite service. Although the wine list huge, the bottles are all pretty pricey... also, I think they keep open bottles for a long time b/c my glass had definately soured :(

Cold cod salad for app was really good! Parpadelle with veal and mushrooms was fantastically flavourful... only the veal was overdone and tough. Spaghetti with panchetta was also very good.

- our server though was polite, was neglectful... very hard to get his attention so we waited a really long time before being able to get a bread refill. He also forgot the olive oil for our table.
Great food (no surprise based on reviews!). We were made to feel welcome from the second we entered the jam packed restaurant by the bartender offering us drinks. Major complaint would be the sardine can feel of the tables though...if you can overcome eating with your server's butt in your plate as he talks to the table next to you, you're golden!

Great food, comfortable atmosphere, and decent prices. I can see why this places is busy every night. There is something on the menu to suit everyone's tastes - from tasty antipastos & salads, to delicious pastas and heartier meat and fish dishes.
From what I understand, they do not take reservations, so come early for dinner, or you may have to wait a while. However, it is worth it. It is one of my favorite places to dine in this area. And with a packed house nightly - it seems it's everyone else's choice as well!

Best pizza I ever had. Here they make pasta too. If I was on a date it would todaly go here. However I fell the subway in the washroom
Can't Get Enough. I tried it for the first time last week (Vaughan Location) and had the 'Udine' - a mouth watering pasta dish with cream sauce, roasted red peppers and goat cheese. The waiter was very friendly and the service was excellent.
I was so impressed with the service that I went again last night (Toronto Location) and the food and service was just as impressive at this location. I tried the Baked Goat Cheese Salad & the Bruschetta Pizza and they were delicious!
All I have to say, is that I'm going again this coming Saturday night for dinner with friends and I can't wait! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent value for their meal and a great evening out.

Comforting taste of Italy. I've been to Grazie a handful of times and the food has consistently been delicious and flavourful. The cozy, family oriented environment is inviting and the friendly staff and tasty food keeps me coming back. My last visit was for my birthday dinner with a friend and I enjoyed how all the male waiters sang "Happy Birthday Bella", I thought it was a nice touch with the light and delectable tiramisu.
Authentic italian. When you visit this place you feel like you are visiting some place in italy. the pasta and pizza were both awesome. Give their non tomato based pizzas a shot, you wont be disappointed!!!
Great food, hip atmosphere.. You have to pay bit more for the food, but the quality is a whole lot better than other new concept Italian places. The place has a nice vibe, with many young gorgeous & hip regulars. The service is very efficient & the food never disappoints, all the classics, and some house specialties, the menu is just right, not too complicated, but the dishes are perfectly executed. They also have great selection on liquor.Good place for dates, not so much a family restaurant as it get quite crowded and young children look out of place in the setting. We have been coming here for about 10 years now and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work.
Italiano. Good veal and amazing atmosphere...crowded but good.
Good, but don't go on Monday. I went there twice and the quality was so different. Nice atmosphere and I like their servers. My first time there was on weekend and food was delicious. But the second time was on Monday and it was average. Apparently, chefs are different and the ingredients are not as fresh on Monday. Should avoid on Monday.
Very good. Great food. Tasty, fresh, healthy. Service is very good also, but the place can get extremely busy, especially Fridays and Saturdays.
My friend brought us here for my wife’s birthday and this is a great restaurant for Italian food and especially to celebrate a birthday, and it was fantastic.
Firstly the Italian cuisine and the quality of ingredients were superb. Their breads, salads and mains were superb. However the highlights in their food were the baked goat cheese salad and the giovanni pizza. I will come back and have these 2 items again for sure.
The staff are very courteous and they even sang the Italian version of the birthday song. A great place to celebrate.

I had such an amazing experience having dinner here. The cocktails were great. The mussels were a delicious starter and the pasta was just too good for words. On top of that, the host and waiter were the most welcoming people. Thank you for such a pleasant first experience dining here
What a fantastic experience! Went here for lunch with my friend. Got the Giovanni pizza and spicy oil. Had a Caesar salad to start. The food here is so good! I can’t recommend it enough. The place is cozy and warm. But also the service is always so good! The people are kind and nice and attentive. If I could give more stars I would!

Amazing food and service! The staff were incredible friendly as soon as we walked in the door and my Peasro pasta dish was 10/10. Would definitely go back.
Actually went here a while ago, but I can vividly remember how good their food was, and how nice everyone was. Their pastas were extraordinary and their menu had enough variety to choose from. The server explained the daily special with eagerness and kept coming back to check up on us.
Overall, I would definitely go back!
Grazie seems a very popular restaurant. For weekday this restaurant was quite full and bustling. My first visit here and it was so wonderful that I would definitely recommend it and go back there again especially for the tiramisu, the pastas and the friendly staff. We had a very friendly team of Carlos and Lucas(not sure if I got the name right) who made sure we had a memorable experience.
All the food we ordered was perfect and well presented. The flavours were spot on.
This is obviously why this restaurant is bustling and busy.
