I got to know about this famous Canadian chain who serves amazing pastries. So I wanted to try them badly and I am glad that I tried. It was something different from the normal ones because I have never seen the bread of pastry being deep fried.
I tried their BrWownie Pastry and just loved it. The pastry had white chocolate and brownie chunks and just tasted amazing. Also this outlet has a pretty ambience as well which added on the top. Overall, I had a great experience.
Amazing experience. Staff was super friendly and patient as we decided from their menu. The taste was just something out of this world. Highly recommended.
I heard from someone that they didn't taste good so I avoided it for years but I tried them yesterday and I liked them! I like the original cinnamon & sugar topped one. The other one pictured is hazelnut spread
This beaver tails outlet was welcomed with open arms by the harbourfront community. It's become an incredibly popular destination for tourists and locals visiting the waterfront as it's unique location stands out and makes a for a fun place to sit and eat a treat.
BeaverTails pastries have been a big part of Canada’s food history. The product first debuted in 1978 and more recently and locally, have opened their first permanent store in Toronto on the harbour front, replacing the seasonal kiosk. A BeaverTail is a wheat dough that’s stretched, deep-fried and then served with a mass of confectionary on top. We ordered out the No. 5 Avalanche with Skor Cheesecake and caramel. It’s all sizzled to order and it wasn’t long till this oval health hazard was in our hands. I had my doubts, but this treat was fantastic. The fried dough becomes an indulgent, sugary pleasure and it was a messy, guilty pleasure that was happily shared. I had to block out the part of my mind where I consider calorie counts and fat contents but for a once-in-a-rare occasion, BeaverTails sure hit my spot.
Nice sweet bite and pretty good poutine!
We stopped by after a day at the Island.

This permanent location was opened not too long ago..first one in Toronto. Besides beavertail, they offer gelato too. I can see it getting quite busy during the summer. Beavertail was pricy. It's tasty..best when it's warm.
