Review Cheapsters Wings And Things - Timmins

Enjoyed a comedy night at Cheapsters. Large stage available for performance, unfortunately the majority of seating is retro style diner booths, making it difficult to either adjust for odd size parties or allow everybody a comfortable view of the stage. A large bench also cuts the venue in half, again blocking the stage. Decor is a collection of just whatever was lying around. There's some nautical stuff, some hockey memorabilia, a couple of wooden child size firetrucks, about 10 Tiffany lamps hanging next to each other on one side and some LED strip lighting. No cohesiveness to the space. The wings smelt delicious, although I did not order any food or drinks due to the long line at the bar. Would be great to offer table service on such a night.

Terrible service. And not cheap as the name may imply. Nacho appetizer was very poor. Nothing much on it at all except nacho chips. No cutlery or extra plates to put our appetizers on. Wings are small. We were a party of 4 and spent $200 just on dinner. Definitely don't bother with this place.

I did go there for the first time , and when I went... Wow. It's a shame such a big place with such potential looks like this. It was not pleasing to the eyes. I don't think there name should be cheapsters, it not cheaper then any other place. I do not drink so I can't say much about the service there. The owner was friendly , maybe a little strange but... Okay lol. Hopefully they get rid of the things that don't function and do some well needed work in this place. It could be great but it's not.

Great food and excellent service -the wings are great - cheap prices and the beer is cold!! Very nostalgic feel to the space - lots to look at! Highly recommended for anyone looking to try a place out of the ordinary!
