Amazing sushi! Their spring rolls are a must try! Service is ok but the waiter was not friendly at all. Kitchen staff.. well done!
Great food. Good pricing. Front of house is very attentive. Only drawback is the waiting. It seems to be a consistent think that they are a bit slow. But if you have the time, it's really a great sushi place.
I was so happy to have something different in town. The food is great and fresh. Atmosphere is pleasant. Service can lack, depending on the waitress. Still one of my favorites. Lunch conveyor rules!
First off the place looks really nice and the veggie tempura was some of the best I've ever had!
However, the salmon nigiri was just ok and the rice in it was overcooked and not very good. I also ordered tuna nigiri but wasn't able to finish it due to it's metallic taste. I don't know why the tuna t
Ordered mixed tempura, calamari tempura roll, tiger roll, beef yakisoba, and chikin katsu. The chikin katsu is basically like chicken strips with sticky rice and steamed veggies, nothing special. I expected the sushi rolls to look more fancy than it did for the price... Wasn't anything special. I ha
Sushi is good, ambiance is excellent, service was friendly. Parking is a little bit of a walk but the neighbourhood is worth the walk through. Definitely one of the better sushi places in Thunder Bay.
The food was all excellent quality. The produce was fresh, the udon soup was spectacular, and the raw dishes were the epitome of japanese quizine. The wasabi tastes as though it's assembled in house and not just squeezed from a tube. I particularly enjoyed the unagi sauce.
Not a lot of options compared to other places in the city, but for the price you pay it is still one of the best sushi restaurants. Atmosphere is quite enjoyable and the conveyor belt sushi is one of a kind in Thunder Bay.
