Review Jj's Family Restaurant - Thunder Bay

An amazing amount of food like always! Unfortunately they don't have Bon Bon spareribs anymore which was one of my favourite foods to get. Also didn't get any fortune cookies with our meal. Wish they were also open more often than 12 hours per week.

When in Thunderbay you gotta eat here! There has never been a place that serves chicken calls like JJ’s. Trang puts her heart and soul into each and every meal that her and her staff make. Trang supports the community and its members, going above and beyond to make such a huge impact in the community. Whenever we come home to visit family, it is our go to place to eat- we come all the way from Saskatchewan and trust me when I say….you will never find food or staff like you will here. @yougottaeathere should really come and eat here!!!

Great food. More food then we could imagine. Excellent staff, happy, friendly, smiling and helpful. Best Family Restaurant in Thunder Bay. Thanks.

Love J.J's, I am heading there right now for the best Poutine in town! Another day and I am back yet again! I have just discovered a new favorite! Perogie Soup! Yes!!! it is a thing! So delish!

Amazing food and the staff are so kind. The food is given in very generous portion sizes and you can taste the flavours of each ingredient in your food. If you're unsure what to try I always recommend the pierogi poutine or anything you haven't heard of before. The dinner for groups is also perfect for take out wether it be for dinner or a party. The prices are also a steal, it's cheaper to buy from here for many things rather than buy the ingredients and make it yourself. Every experience is wonderful. I would love to see milkshakes become available here one day though!

Seems to be closed more than it's open now. 2-3 week long closures for "holidays". No hours posted on the door anymore. They were closing at 7 for a while but now they removed those hours and close whenever. They haven't had grill food for a long time now, so no burgers etc. Only fried stuff. I was a long time customer and loved them but now it's never open and when it is you can only get fried stuff. Such a shame. Maybe decide on some hours and stick to them and get your grill fixed or whatever the issue is there.
