Review Chicago Joe's - Thunder Bay

I stayed at victoria inn and I ordered the blueberry brie burger this is by far the Best burger I have ever had in Thunder Bay. I ordered the wing and they were nice and crispy. The only downfall is the waiter we had needs a lot more training or to be shadowed more. With how great your food is I gave you a 4 star but this dude we had forgot to take the menus away, didn't bring us cutlery so we can get our teaspoons for our coffee, my 2 year old wanted a pancake off of the kids menu she ended up with a four stack of pancakes and he gave us the wrong receipt the bill I figured to have was $60-$70 we got a $20 bill. He's a nice guy and all not rude but needs to pick it up and realize that the great food that this place is generating you need great service to go along with it. But this isn't one person this is also management standing around and not doing anything as well. If there not watching their staff staff then they take all of the blame.

Very delightful greetings. Didn't have to wait to long for order and the meal was exceptionally delicious. If you want to eat in a nice restaurant, Chicago Joe's is your please first great eats.

Best wings in town in my opinion. The waitress we had was okay. Customer service goes along way. If my drink is refilled and you don't come back to our table otherwise I'm fine with it. Would recommend the Ty Domi wings!

We came in just before 10 pm, not realizing the kitchen was about to close for the night. Front-of-house staff was very kind and checked with kitchen staff to see if they could still prepare an order of soup for my father, who was not feeling well. Sure enough, they pulled through and got my dad a hot bowl of soup. I'm very grateful to all of the staff who worked to help make my dad feel a little better.

Me and my lovely wife visited Chicago Joes this last Valentine’s Day. Needless to say, the food was phenomenal. We started off with the lemon pepper wings. These wings were some of the best that have ever touched my mouth. I was truly speechless. I had the Philly cheese steak as my entree. It was very good. Big portion and came with a lot of fries. My partner had the “legendary” chicken ceasar salad. It was amazing. Very creamy. I truly recommend.

The waitress was horrible, we brought our kids to the restaurant, we ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals, the waitress brought out the adult meals first before the kids meals. She brought the kids drinks out with no straws or lids for a 2 yr and 3 yr old. She put hot food in front of the kids. She did not come to refill any drinks through supper or bring cultery, or condiments to the table. We had to ask another waiter for to go containers and had to wait to pay for 20 mins. The food was great though.

Tried to call 3x and no answer. Finally got a hold of Female who took our order and advised they closed in 15mins. - Perfect. No worries, we were staying close by for the pick-up. Brought food back to our Hotel and it was all cold - not even warm? REASON FOR MY REVIEW: We called back and a Guy picked up the phone. My hubby explained the food was cold and we just got back to the hotel, his response was "Everything comes out of the oven hot, so I don't know what to tell you. I'll get my Manager." Literally just puts us on hold. WHO SAYS THAT TO A PAYING CUSTOMER? Customer Service is so hard to come by nowadays? Omg.. Manager deserves 5stars as we will be coming back through Thunder Bay within the next month or two and he gave us each a free meal. Thank you for that.
