The Sal - Thunder Bay - Photo album

JalapeƱo poppers were delicious and the gyro was very filling. Excellent lunch overall. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.
By total fluke I ended up here twice this weekend for lunch, and I was blown away each time. Breakfast one day, and lunch the second. Both meals were absolutely delicious, and well portioned. They maintained the classic diner atmosphere but with modern twists, and a creative menu that's not bloated
Traditional Diner in all the best ways. The burgers are full of flavour and served exactly the way you want them to be. You simply can't go wrong with any think you choose.
A great burger and really good fries and gravy! The Coney sauce on the burger had a hint of cumin or masala spice that really hit and the bun was very soft. The staff were friendly and the Sal has such a good hometown feeling to it that it puts you at ease while you eat. I don't make it out to Westf
A good place to get something to eat that was a lot better a couple of years ago, some of the best items on the menu where removed and it's just not worth it for me anymore.
Absolutely incredible food! One of the best restaurants in this city in my opinion!
Decient portion sizes The monte cristo and the burger nip were pretty underwhelming and cold But the Battered Fish and Tartare sauce made up for the loss The fries were quite soggy but we got them replaced Staff was nice and the environment was nicely decorated with local art The BLT was a BLT
Neighbourhood restaurant, lots of locals. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food.
