Review Tokyo House - Thunder Bay

Good food, friendly service. Some items on the menu are not common to see. Very good place, but somehow shorted my order.

This is coming from a person who does not like sushi so please don't attack me. However, I did try some sushi again here and so far the sushi was best in town over here. The menu is pretty big and does have so many other options. I wish there was better option for a la carte here.

Great food presentation and preparation. When I was there, they never used old oil. This resulted in all of their fried items coming out golden and crispy, and never oily/soggy and burnt. Attentive staff and great service. Decent quality food. Would come again.

This is the only all you can eat sushi spot in Thunder Bay. This beats Sushi Station in terms of quality. I just find this place was short staffed and had to wait awhile.

Ordered the food off Uber Eats. There was quite a bit of a wait time but it was definitely worth it! Ordered two sushi pizzas, spring rolls and a Thunder Bay roll. All of which were wonderfully portioned and absolutely delicious. It's a shame it's so far out for my fiancé and I, would come here all the time if it didn't mean a two day trip. Delicious, can't recommend it enough.

Food was good. Waited forever to get our food. Came in for all you can eat, waited nearly an hour between orders. When it finally came out it was missing items. Wrong good was brought to our table multiple times . The service is brutal. Won't be coming back

Cheap sushi at quality pricing! We bought from this place on our travels through and was very unimpressed. The salmon sashimi was the only redeeming part. The rest of the sushi felt heavy and tasted like a cheap all you could eat place. The simulated crab was definitely lower quality and they used cheap soya sauce, wasabi, and ginger. The share ribs were very meaty. For this price it’s not worth it.

There is a limit to how much sashimi you can get and the slices are too small. Ive actually never seen surf clams that small. The rest is okay but some of the item arent good at all. Eg tiger shrimp skewer. Price is about 50$ a person after tax and tips
