Absolutely love this place! Karma offers a very unique menu that is so hard to find in the Niagara region. I am from Montreal and have been looking for a place that offered an upscale menu with different options compared to bland chain restaurants and Karma was exactly what I was looking for! Have been here many times and always try something new each time! Their specials are always delicious and so unique! Would recommend this place to anyone! Their service is top notch as well! You will not be disappointed!!!
This pub is an awesome addition to the little town of Thorold! And even better still they had gluten free menu options!! I had the lobster grilled cheese on gluten free bread and it was heavenly! My mom had the special burger which had cheddar cheese, peameal bacon, and maple Carmelized apples...what an awesome combination!! The service (Blane) was super friendly as well I would highly recommend a visit to this pub!!
The Lobster Grilled Cheese is the most delicious sandwich I've eaten. They don't cheat you on the ingredients either. Both times that Ive had the sandwich, it was overflowing with full chunks of lobster meat. Well worth the price.
I went there expecting the food to be good but I was pleasantly surprised by how wrong I was. The quality of the food surpassed expectations by limits foreign to my knowledge. Adding that the restaurant itself has a complete and total comfortable atmosphere partly due to the exceptional staff. Now with greatness there must be a negative but I would not be able to relay any as I enjoyed lunch so much dinner was a must and also did not disappoint.
This is a gem of a restaurant and was well populated with locals (a good sign) the entire time we were there. The menu is diverse with vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options available and the food was incredible. The lobster grilled cheese sandwich was the house specialty and was constantly rolling out of the kitchen. My burger was juicy and flavourful. Food is served on "plates" of tree rings for a touch of whimsy. Highly encouraged.
One of my students works here, and has been asking me to come out and give the place a try. Tonight Linda and I did, and I'll tell you it was phenomenal.
Local craft beer, local ingredients and food, generous portions, very cool vibe, friendly and caring owners, and the menu has something for everyone.
It's also cool for me to see my athletes in their own profession. Blaine Crocker is an amazing server. Personable, funny, and able to read the table and make a connection with the guests right away. Totally enjoyed watching him work.
If you are looking for a place to try for a nice meal in a very cool atmosphere, you won't go wrong here.

had lunch there today - first visit - best lobster grilled cheese ever and that says a lot coming from a PEI Islander. The fajita burger was also great. Highly recommend it.

Took my Dad in for lunch today as he had never been. We both had the bison burger. Sooo good. Cooked to perfection, and the blueberry mustard was on point.
We love going to the Karma Kameleon. We have not found a single thing on the menu that we didn't love. The menu is so different from any restaurant around and the tastes are out of this world. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make the experience a great one! Try it, you'll love it!
Had lunch with friends, one of whom had never been before. We will definitely be returning. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff were great. I had the scallop feature. It was amazing. I ate every morsel and then asked the waiter for a take-out box LOL. A must try.
Flavourful 5-star food with excellent prices. Friendly and engaging staff. Clean and tidy establishment that provides a casual dining experience although the offerings are anything but casual. Stephanie was fabulous!
Great Place, love, love love there Lobster Grill Cheese with Harvest Salad. Pretty much everything on menu is excellent . All fresh and homemade .Definately would suggest you try this small place in Thorold.
We LOVE karma , there isn't one thing on the menu that we could say we don't like . With being vegetarian the menu has amazing options for myself ! Will & Shannon are incredible chefs & have created a great spot in Thorold ❤️
I had the roasted breast of muscovy duck and it was DELIGHTFUL!!!! Served on risotto that was done to perfection! I rarely post reviews online, but this gastropub is a must do! #eatlocal
My husband and I rarely eat out, but when we do, we LOVE eating here!! I'm especially fond of the lobster grilled cheese (I only wish they would add lobster mac and cheese to the menu). I don't even like soup, but I love theirs. My husband almost always chooses their burger of the day and is never disappointed. Food is made-to-order from fresh ingredients, and you can taste the quality. Read the chef's bio, we're lucky to have him!!
