Review Melody Restaurant - Thornhill

We ordered a takeout spread for New Years. Igor was very easy to talk to, very accommodating. We got the Stuffed Goose, a litre of Borscht, and smoked salmon among other things. Everything was delicious, the goose and borscht especially! Definitely ordering from here again.

We celebrated my friend's birthday in this restaurant. It was amazing! The food was excellent! All dishes were cooked with great love, at the highest professional level. The assortment is the widest. The taste of all the dishes surpassed the most daring expectations. Plus a very pleasant atmosphere, attentive and caring attitude of the staff. We recommend everyone to visit this restaurant and you will get unforgettable pleasure.

Nice Mediterranean/Fusion cuisine and great service. The place itself not very big and works great for our family private events. The chef has plenty of his own authentic recipes, which are very tasty and have beautiful presentation.

We had a work social in Melody Restaurant. The event went beyond everyone's expectations: the food was unsurpassed, everything tasted so amazing, the variety was impressive. The chef, Igor, has a real talent for cooking. Music and the atmosphere was great as well. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone as well as book this restaurant for future events. Amazing atmosphere of a small restaurant owned and managed by the great professional. Fresh and tasty food, the smoked fish and seafood are highly recommended. Live saxophone, cozy setting - the best place for family events! I'll be happy to visit it again.

The food and service at this place is 10/10. Super authentic Ukrainian food. Comforts my heart & belly EVER. SINGLE. TIME! So good !!! You have to try the borscht, blintz&caviar, and the chicken Kiev. You will not be disappointed !

This as a great little place. The owner/chef came came and talked with us soon as we sat down and recommended several different dishes. I had the chicken Kiev, and it was delicious. My brother had the perogies and he enjoyed them a lot too. I'll definitely be back!

On Jan. 25, 2017 we had an afternoon lunch/dinner for 25 mostly Ukrainian people...all family gathered together for a meal after our mother's funeral. Igor promised us a feast and he did not disappoint. He delivered on a delicious assortment of Ukrainian/Russian starters and main entrees which were amazing in variety and taste. Incredible traditional dishes which were prepared lovingly and reminded me of my mother's own cooking...and she was quite the cook. Everyone praised his cooking. He was also a caring and gracious host. Thank you, Igor! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to have a great food experience whatever the size of your party.

Nice little restaurant. We've just celebrated my in-laws' anniversary in this small nice restaurant. Everything was just perfect: the food is very yummy - even our very picky kids loved it; the music is great, owing to the musician who did his best to create a lively and fun atmosphere; the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and courteous. We were 9 adults and 3 kids, so this place is ideal for a small party. Thank you very much again!
