I loved this place, it reminded me of the Supernatural series!! The BBQ rib was so good, the lady who unfortunately I forgot to ask her name was really nice. And overall I loved the vibe. Will be back!!!

The food is pretty basic and the service is not the fastest, but, this local bar is indeed one of favourites. It has nice seating area and the patio is nice too! The collection of IPA is not as I prefer it to be, but I still enjoy going there and seating with friends. The staff is friendly and there is not so many local bars uptown.

My partner and I stopped in for a lunch when we were in the area for another friends appointment. The owner is delightful and the building/decor was that lovely cozy pub feel. They were just getting over a lunch rush but still took the time to come by our table to make sure we were happy. The food was great! Fries and onion rings cooked to perfection. The chicken wrap was huge and I took half home. My partner had a burger and it was big, on a nice fresh bun with all the fixin's on the side. If you are in the area, stop by. They've been there 29, going on 30 yrs were were told by the owner. I can see why. Great place! I wish we were local, we'd become regulars.

Had a great time on St. Patty’s. The nachos and the deep fried pickle was very nice. The servers were very kind even though the place was so busy. The live entertainment could’ve been better and do not recommend the cheese sticks.

Went for dinner and drinks after work and had an excellent time. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was exactly what you would look for when going to a quality pub. Will definitely visit again to try more of the menu and enjoy drinks.

I enjoyed my visit. Beer is a good price $16 for a pitcher on tap. Food is really good! We initially got 2 lbs of wings and then we wanted to add another 3 lbs so we asked them to just make it as if we ordered 5 lbs from the start because its a discounted price and they said they couldn't do that which is bullshit because there are ways to do that on a POS system. So great but a little annoying.

When you have no other options.. In my opinion, a bar needs two things in order to be a bar. A plank of wood, and an idiot to serve drinks on top of it. Now, to the Toad's credit they certainly have an idiot. However, this does not give them claim to a bar title. There is a fundamental need to exchange booze for money that all bars must hold, but this place can take 45 minutes to turn $20 into a sad, sepia water.

Not bad. It's not a bad pub. The food is decent, i like the wings, burgers, some menu items aren't bad. Has interesting beer selection that I enjoy. It's a good hang out spot, nothing else. If you are used to Four Seasons standards, this place isn't for you.

Excellent food!. I've been in a few times and the food has been delicious. The serving staff are friendly. My children also love the food there and keep asking when we can go back.

Mortuary like atmosphere. Sadly i've been eating at this establisment for over ten years(not my fault, i work in the area) I don't rec'd the chicken wings. Period. The crowd is usually made up of local geriatrics from the local nursing home(smell included). The wait staff are usually angry. The head bartender(guy in hat, who thinks he's Ryan Gosling minus the fame) takes great offence to any criticism of the horrible food.

Nothing Funny About Being Tickled By This Toad. Went Friday night. There were four people in the place, a good size bar. I sat at a table for 15 minutes without being served. Ordered nachos and a Guiness. Finished my beer, waited another 20 minutes with an empty beer glass in front of me. My nachos never did make an appearance. The Guiness was $8.40. There were 2 barmaids and one manager walking around. I wanted to spend money there, but the staff was too busy chatting amongst themselves. Service is non-existent there along with any personality or sign of appreciation for your custom. I guess that's why the place was deserted on a Friday night. I felt like I was a nuisance and interrupting their private little party. Their half price appetizers (before 6pm) are a quarter of their regular sized serving. How does this place stay in business? Great place to go to lose weight, because you won't get fed there. I would rather eat a dead toad tickled to death by a transport truck in the middle of Steeles Ave than return to this morgue like dump!

Nice local spot. The Tickled Toad is a nice local place to grab a pint and have some good bar food. Not a very fancy place, but a good place to chill with your friends
