Review Khufus - Sydney

Me and my sister tried it out yesterday (January 5th).... never again... Half of the food from the buffet was lukewarm to cold right out of the bain marie steam table. It was so dry and old to the point of being almost inedible. None of the salads or cold foods were on ice of any kind and sat out the entire time of our meal. The dessert... how do you mess up dessert? The pastries I tried to eat were so old and hard they clinked on the plate when I tapped them against it. My sister grabbed this rice/coconut pudding (was the only thing covered with plastic wrap by the way) it was so bland and it tasted like we were eating coconut scented hand cream, and just to as insult to injury a fly landed in it. I was so disgusted I will never go back, they waitress avoided us for most of our meal even as I stared holes through her when my water glass was empty from the food being so dry. At the end of it I just walked up to counter and paid so we could get the hell out of there. As someone with a culinary background I was excited to try the food so it was really disappointing that their food safety practices were so poor, do yourself a favour and don't bother trying this place out.

We dropped in for supper after the snow storm & ordered 2 appetizers, 3 main courses, a fatyr & a salad. We were delighted by the delicious food & excellent service! The portions were large & we had lots left over. We will be back soon. There is a buffet on Saturday starting at noon.... good way to sample the menu!

This place is amazing! We went on a Saturday to their all you can eat. The gentleman that served us was very polite and took us through each food and explained what it was. The food was great! (I recommend their home made cheese cake for dessert)

Lunch on Friday. Ignored by waitress, Very long wait even for menus. Don't try to save time by getting one yourself because you get yelled at. Table not cleared. Forty five minutes later one very dried out plate arrived. So did two more people. They were served by cook before second patron received anything.Furious owner asked what do you want? Perhaps food that had been ordered? Would you sit in a cold room and pay people to ignore you, treat you rudely? We left. There is much better food available in other restaurants. Really wanted to support any new business. You expect some opening hiccups for a new business, but that's not what was happening here.

Disappointing I went there once in winter and the service and food i got was really good. Today, I suggested my friend to have food from there. When i entered the store it was dead and I didn’t see anyone over the register and i had to ring the bell to get the service. I ordered Khabsa, which I had last time of my visit, the food looked entirely different from the last time and the taste was same for both food. I never suggest the restaurant to anyone again.

Had high expectations but the shwarma was cold and chicken was old inside of it and than order a rice plate for three but the rice was old and no flavour on the beef and the whole thing was dry. Complained about but they still charged it. Didnt wanna argue with them but will not be going back and wouldnt recommend anyone to go there😡😡

Nice place to have arabic food

Never again, horrible. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and my friend orderd a khabsa they both taste same. Looks like they microwave it.Wasnt delicious.
