We are new to Cape Breton and have been trying the different pizza places in town. Joany's is the best pizza we have had so far and will be my new go to place. The crust is great, the sauce is yummy and they don't skimp on the toppings. We will definitely be ordering from here when we want pizza.
Overall: 8.5/10
(Crust: 8), (Sauce: 8), (Cheese: 8.5), (Pepperoni: 6.5)
Best pizza in Cape Breton. Great crust, thick and chewy. Loads of toppings. Tasty cheese. Best donair pizza with a not too sweet sauce and excellent meat.
Horrible place, pay the same price for a tiny slice as you would a big slice and that's if they have slices, lunch time and they only had 4 slices out. The older lady working there doesnt wear gloves handling pizza even though covid is around horrible service
Bad pizza, absolutely misleading reviews on this place. No structure to the slice, minimum sauce, and overloaded with cheese.
Located in the Needs building, across from Caper gas, on George Street. Good pizza, clean environment, friendly staff. Take out only. Payment made at needs checkout upon presentation of receipt. And since you're in Needs, lots of drink and additional snack option are at your fingertips.
My previous review may have been too harsh, so I'm amending it here. Although I still have an issue whenever I get a pizza turnover that 9 times out of 10 it's uncooked inside, but that's just one of the many options, and the truth is I really do like their pizza, and more importantly there hero sub
Going down hill really ...I tried 6 times today to put order in and won't even pick up phone.found my new spot...thanks anyways
Make sure you get price before ordering...a Hero sub which was $10.20 after taxes less than a month ago is now $13.50 !!!!!!!
