Beautiful location, the inner dining area is very nice but the patio is a must on a nice day. Great view of the fiddle and the harbour. Food was really good and prices were very reasonable. Service was 10/10

The restaurant is in a great spot. You can enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace and enjoy food. The staff were amazing. Highly recommended place to eat and enjoy nature.

Beautiful atmosphere, stunning views of the big fiddle and the Port of Sydney, amazing food. Located on the Sydney waterfront on the second level of the cruise pavilion. Parking can be tricky if there's an event or cruise ship. Highly recommended.

My two daughters gave me dinner here for mother's day. My husband and youngest daughter went on Monday evening. (Our older daughter lives in Calgary, so sadly she was not with us). We have eaten here several times and, as every other time, it was so amazing!! The atmosphere is anything from dress-casual to very dressy. Which ever you prefer!! It is a fine dining standard that you will surely remember!! My very favorite thing to have is the mussel appetizer and steak entree!! The mussels also come on the Trio entree and all of it is to die for!! If you are looking for casual dining, it may seem a little pricey, but like I said, the dress is to your comfort and the food is worth every penny!! Do yourself a favor and expect a little high bill and savor your meal!! You will not regret it!! Just enjoy the experience!!

Server lacked attention when we ordered 2 lobster meals. We had to ask for extra napkins and they didn’t provide a hand bowl or bucket for the garbage. We’ve been to other restaurants that provided these extras when eating a whole lobster meal. Butter cooled off and was quite salty tasting. Meal was ok but not the best lobster we’ve eaten before while in the Maritimes.

Great staff and Manager! We caused a misunderstanding, but they made it right. Customer service the way it should be handled. Seafood plate was terrific. For beer try the local Red ale. The bistro location 2 blocks away is great also. Try the bistro's seafood chowder.

Waiters were very nice. Remarkable ambience with great food. We ordered seafood chowder and seafood trio with wine. Both were delicious. Portion sizes were good. I loved their mussles with sauce. Mouth watering! Had a great experience on our anniversary dinner out. Highly recommend to anyone.

My husband and I made a reservation on Saturday Feb 18'17 we did not have a table at the windows but the view was still awesome. Our waiter (don't know his name) was very attentive at first. I ordered a drink (GG vodka & water) and my husband ordered a beer. We received our drinks...I wanted to stir mine so I used my salad fork & knocked my dinner fork on the floor. The waiter said he would get me a fork. We talked to our waiter asking him what is the most popular etc. We started off with chicken bites that were light and crisp and the sauces were lovely. My husband ordered another beer. My husband ordered the hamburger and I the suggested prime rib. I don't know why but I was thinking Prime Rib Roast. The server not our waiter dropped it off to the table...We weren't offered salt & pepper, no 2nd beer for my husband came, no fork & my napkin slipped off my lap to the floor. My husband Loved his burger. My prime rib was a small thin steak over cooked...it tasted steamed or warmed. The potato's were definitely not fresh. The vegetables were by far the BEST of my meal & were fresh. I ate the veggies with my salad fork & I handed my steak over to my husband, the potatoes were left on the plate. We never saw our waiter again until much later. The server came back picked up the dishes asked how everything was...my husband said great, then I said well mine was not good. I explained how the steak was and told him it tastes like it was steamed. He asked me if I ever had prime rib before....we are in our mid to late 50's I cook prime rib all the time. He shrugs his shoulders says I will send over your waiter then leaves!! My husband & I talked for a bit and the waiter plunks a beer down in front of my husband and says here's your beer I forgot. About 10 minutes goes by and the waiter says did you guys get your mains yet.........at that we said we didn't want anything else. The bill was 98.00 and was not worth that let me tell you! Very Very Very disappointed. That was a first & a last.

Great food, slow service. My family and I went to dinner at Flavour on the Water last night. The restaurant was not particularly crowded. While we were a large group, we had a relatively simple order, entrees only. We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and our drink orders were taken reasonably promptly. Our food orders were taken about 15 mins after our arrival, which was a little on the long side, but not unacceptable. Then the waiting time started, and everyone at the table were starting to get a little hungry. About 40 mins after our arrival, we were asked if we would like another drink, to which I responded that we would actually like some bread to tie us over until our meals arrived. Almost 10 mins after that, we were informed that our meals were being plated and it would be out before the bread (Really? It couldn't have been done already?) and would we want it with the meal, to which we responded yes. 58 mins after our arrival, the last plate was delivered to the table. No bread was ever delivered. I understand that the server can't control how quickly the food is prepared, but as the face of the establishment, I would have expected some offer of bread or a discounted dessert or something (anything) to keep us happy and engaged in something other than discussion about when our food might arrive. And although one of the other members of the group mentioned that bread isn't normally offered at your establishment, the presence of bread plates on the table would suggest otherwise. Once served, the meal was delicious and our view of the harbour at sunset was beautiful. It is a shame that our experience was marred by what could have been resolved with a basket of bread at the 30 min mark rather than forcing me to suggest it myself, only to be denied it anyway. I think your servers may require a bit of training in customer service. Best of luck

The food was excellent! I had the lobster roll and unlike others I have had it was warm and buttery with lots of flavor! It was accompanied by the maple spinach salad which was an experience in its own right! Highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and great location.

I just got back from dining at flavor on the water. I ordered the stuffed chicken breast. It was delicious! That root beer BBQ sauce should be bottled and sold, the chicken was tender and moist and I loved their roasted potatoes. For desert, I had the carrot cake. It was outstanding! The waiter was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Hats off to the chef for a great dining experience. I will be going back soon :)

One of my favourite places to eat anywhere! Each location has its own aesthetic and atmosphere and you can always find the perfect option for any meal or meeting. Their creative combinations and ethnic fusion truly lives up to their name. Bon appetite!

Man!... was a pretty amazing lobster sandwich to the surprise backdrop of the Bluenose II... can’t really go wrong! Very friendly staff and great service!
