Review Trio Restaurant - Sydney

Trio made ended our day the best way possible. Can’t say anything about that night’s special, the “Ribeye”! Oh my god! It was so good! Very well marinated and professionally cooked. I am not a big fan of salads but my wife is and she loved the salad. Staff were really polite and caring.

Great atmosphere, service and food. Would definitely go back! The cup of seafood chowder was creamy and delicious. The seafood in the hot pot was plentiful and cooked perfectly.

Such a great restaurant. Food is delicious. Our waitress wasn't the best, but food made up for it.

The were twelve of us at the table....and each and every meal was hot, tasty and delicious. The server was second to none. He was polite, accommodating and we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend eating there and the lobster mac and cheese is to die for.....large portions....so make sure you arrive with an appetite. Love, love, love Trio.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The lobster Mac and cheese was amazing with big pieces of lobster! My husband also enjoyed his chicken linguine.

Love the new, modern, open design. Always great staff here...so welcoming and down to earth. Tonight, I tried their Pad Thai with Chicken and lovvvved it...just the right amount of heat and wonderful, fresh crunchiness of the sweet peas.

Last Friday, I had joined my friends for dinner and arrived there after they had their starters. When me and a few others arrived later, we were told the waitress Tara was not serving any of us anymore. She had expected my friends to pay and tip right after the starters. They had told her they are not finished eating and still had the main course to order. Like most, you pay at the end of the service. She made assumptions that none were going to tip at all. We ended up having to leave to go eat somewhere else. It was quite sad because we were their to celebrate a special moment. I think if my friends weren’t people of colour the service would have been a lot different. Really awful this kind of stuff is still happening. Will definitely not be going back.

I ordered the Rib Eye steak special. Cooked as ordered but it was tough and tasteless. My wife had the Beef Tenderloin. Executed to perfection. My daughter had the Beef Tenderloin. Ordered medium, served medium rare. Big difference. 2nd time at Trio. Seems like hit or miss. Shouldn't be for the price you pay Certainly better restaurants out there with better food and prices.
