Review Nando's Guildford - Surrey

Food was great as expected from Nandos. A young Asian guy took the time to go over the different platters which recently changed, rung me up and got me out by the time promised for my pick up order. Great service and food as it’s been a while for our visit here since we’ve moved out of the neighborhood.

Simple delicious succulent chicken, bold flavors and great service. Creamy garlic mashed potatoes perfectly balanced. Totally hit the spot today.

The food is delicious, the place is cheerful, the menu options are fresh and rich. It is a delicious, nice and clean place. Good vibes there

Another great Nando’s location in the lower Mainland. This relatively new interior creates a great atmosphere. With Nando’s the key is working your way up the peri peri ladder. So start at the bottom and then make sure you visit enough to increase the flavour!!

Normally people post food on plate but I am so happy with the new renovations and the ambience of new wide open dine in place with the great selection of music 🎶 loved it and will come back again

Manager was very rude. They made a mistake in their order, and wanted us to pay for something which we never wanted, when we questioned. He left without answering it, He further sent one of our employee, don’t know her name, but she is black, and was very rude, and left the receipt at my table. After questioning, she said you have to pay. Never had such customer experience ever in before. We felt so embarrassed, not wanted to stay there for even 1 more min. we pack the food and decided to leave right away. Never ever going there again. I have had friends and my family going there, shared that experience with them. Never ever going there.

We ordered chicken breast n fries. Amazing. Very good portion size. Very quick service. Vast variety of soft drinks available, better to go for FREESTYLE i.e. take Mug from them and self serve rather than to go for packed pop.

Very pleased with my first time eating in last Thursday at the Guildford location. Staff was friendly especially a tall blond white girl she was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Yes! We are at another Nando’s flame-grilled chicken location! It feels like we have been to all of the Nando’s restaurants by now but there seem to be more we have yet to visit! If you’ve never been to a Nando’s flame-grilled chicken location before, you’re missing out and here’s why!

Nandos is nothing short of amazing! Same food, new look! This place was actually recently renovated, and it looks amazing. It is now very modern, and the atmosphere is great. It is also refreshing to see that the food hasn't changed one bit - you will still get quality chicken here, seasoned with the sauce of your liking, and it tastes amazing. There is something special about flame-grilled chicken that you can definitely taste. It is very smoky, and it gives their chicken an addicting flavour. That, and you know that it just came off the grill a few minutes after you ordered it.

The service here is usually very prompt and kind, although I find that during the rush hours, they do get a little busy. That will never stop me from coming though, there is a reason why it is usually always packed with people! If you come here hungry, you will leave with a smile on your face - and maybe with some peri peri sauce on your mouth.

This place is always good to me. Good food just the way you like it, usually very friendly staff, always packed inside. And why wouldn't it be. Fresh, tasty food and you get what you pay for.

My mom LOVES Nando's chicken, and there has to be a side order of grilled chicken livers for my dad whenever I pick up an order here for family dinner. So needless to say, when the cravings hit, it's a bonus for the convience of having this location near our house. There has never been a time that the staff weren't cheerful and welcoming. I would say I frequent here at least once every month or so, and they already have my recent orders on file whenever I call for pick up. Once in a blue moon, there would be minor things like the rice tasting a little stale or the buns would be rock hard. Aside from that, the chicken is always juicy and served warm. If you're a spice fiend, they have different levels of spice for both the baste on the chicken as they grill it as well as the dipping sauce. I have to admit that I'm scared to try anything else but the lemon and herb and since my spice tolerance isn't too high, the garlic peri peri sauce already has me reaching for a drink. It's the type of spice that you'd keep wanting more of and you definitely have the choice to be adventurous with your food! Must have sides would be garlic bread, peri peri fries, and I recommend trying their sweet potato! Don't skimp out on dessert neither and order a slice of cheesecake! I always order 2 because it's that decadent.

If you're ever deciding for a place to have dinner or order dinner from for your family, and want to opt for a healthier dish version of chicken, go to Nando's! It's never disappoints.

-
P.S. when ordering quarter pieces, the breast+wing always have more meat than the leg+thigh!

Me and my daughter dine at this branch once every other week, The food is great but recently we found a female hair once in the coleslaw and the other day on the chicken. Please advise your kitchen staff to put on a hair net or protection at all times. Thanks.

Chicken is as close to real Portuguese bbq you're going to get around here. Traditionally, you get the chicken whole with the grease that runs off which is a tasty addition to your rice, fries, etc. This part is missing but the chicken is still delicious. The Piri Piri fries are my favourite side and you get a large portion. Don't get the Portuguese buns, they're stale as all hell, opt for the garlic bread if it's an option. All in all, this is a go to when we don't want to cook and don't want fast food. You pay more but so goes the saying.

Boss food! Love your chicken! Love your fries! Good food and good service! Always eat from Nandos, and always will. My family loves it here for your food and service. Just simply amazing.

Mixed feelings. No doubt the flavour is there but visually very displeasing. I've never been so hesitant to dig into a dish before. Definatly not the best bang for your buck. When I leave a food joint still hungry they have failed.

Love their food! We often get the full pack that includes a whole chicken (sliced into pieces), two large sides (we pick Mediterranean salad and the spicy rice), and 3 Portuguese buns (that can be requested to be made into garlic bread buns). Total is ~35$ including tax. Though you do order like you would at a fast food place, service is exceptional as they always greet you when you come in, and come by to check on how you're doing (if you dine in). I'm not much into the spicy sauces, but the people in my group who do use them love their peri-peri garlic sauce the best! A+

It beats McDonalds and Wendy's anytime, food is fresh, tasty and how spicy you want it.. These other people are just whiners.. Sandwich, side and a drink$13 and you leave satisfied.. For fast food great taste, and no regrets after

Darn fine chicken and great service. Friendly people and a consistent product these guys break the franchise food mold and always produce a meal that I enjoy. If you ask for the "Extea Hot" spice they deliver! The meat is always moist and the salads fresh. Eat here... I do!

This restaurant is a rip-off of the real Portuguese cuisine known as Frango. It honestly seems like they just put heaps of hot sauce on the chicken to imitate the real Peri-Peri sauce. If anyone ever travels to Portugal and tries the real chicken recipe, they will never be able to eat this again.

Love the chicken, but not the portion size.. We love the chicken here, but I find the portion or size of the chicken they use is always very small. We LOVE the hot sauce!

Quick. Good food. Kinda dark inside though. Chicken a bit greasy.

My favorite part, the Peri Rice. MMM MM GOOD. We ordered a large on the side.

Nando's chicken revolves its food around the African Bird's Eye Chili, and spicy pepper thought to be indigenous to Mozambique.
