Review Thai Express - Surrey

Every time I come here, either it happens to myself or I see it happen to another customer, or both, that the employees will completely ignore new customers to the point where they just walk away. In my most recent experience, it was not busy, there was 1 other customer who had ordered long before I got there, yet somehow it took the guy forever to make their order to the point that I thought it must have been mine. It wasn't. I had to wait another absurdly long time for mine to be made. Again, it wasn't busy, they had 2 customers including myself. I used to work at Thai Express, so I know what I'm talking about. Whats going on here? Do you not want customers? Do you hate customers that don't order online? Most confusing experience every single time. Also I asked for no egg and there's egg in it.

Sad to say after finding this place the last time we were in the mall. My wife and I were quite happy with the food. It was quite good, the FIRST time! Good enough we though we would try it again. I could barely eat a few bites. My wife ate about half of hers. I was torn whether to say anything or not. But did after alot of thought. The first guy dealing with me seemed like he wanted to make me satisfied. Then the older gentleman that my wife ordered with came out and basically gave me tge brush off, with no care of how this could potentially affect his business. Only my second visit and it will be my LAST! SATISFACTION NOT GUARANTEED

Surrey central location The boyfriend and I usually have a great meal and experience, over all. But today, was pretty bad. We ordered the pad sew with beef and right off the bat, noticed the beef tasted funny. (Tasted Spoiled) Bring it back, talk to the staff & manager, which they were so rude about. They didn't even try to apologize or anything, just stood there and argued. Tried to ask to get a different meat they straight up said no. After all that rudeness, we just wanted a refund. Couldn't get that either. Will never go back to this place again. #whatiscustomerservice?

It was borderline decent 2 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. Ordered a tom yum soup noodles today and it was so watered down and tasteless it's practically just noodles in hot water. I am not a picky eater and would normally just eat it if it's slightly below average. But this one was so bad there is no way i am willing to pay 10 bucks for it. They gave me a refund without any hassel so i am giving them an extra star for that.

I have been to the Metrotown location a few times and they are pretty good. I ordered the yellow chicken curry and it was watered down. Some of the vegetables tasted off, sort of rotten. I will only go to the Metrotown location as they use fresh ingredients and the sauce actually tastes like curry.

I ordered and paid for my order in their online system and when i arrived to pick it up I was told they cannot take online orders. I showed them my receipt and that I paid and they just told me they could not help me. There were 3 people working there at the time and no one could give me information on a manager or who I can contact to rectify my situation. Two just stared at me blankly and the other kept saying "I just work here". They then gave be 613 number for Ontario to someone who never called me back. I ended up having to go through their website via email to talk to someone. The restaurant would not provide my food or refund me. They just tried to brush me off.

Never try Thai food here. They have not eaten Thai food before. They don know what Thai food is. Cant find any flavor or smell of Thai food. I ordered Padthai with shrimp. It was just chinese noodle. Not a thai noodle. Better change their name as "chinese Express". I will never go again. Go study what Thai food is chef. Visit Thailand sometime during your holiday for better quality of food.

Very inconsistent quality of food - stirfrys might include an even mix of noodles/rice to veggies, or 90% noodles/rice - 5% protein - 5% veggies. You usually leave paying for mostly noodles/rice. Best to avoid.

Poor quality & too expensive. The Pad Thai (tofu version) is a poor imitation of the real dish. It's expensive too -- more than $8 for less than $2 worth of ingredients. I wouldn't order anything there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either.

Ordered the chili chili noodle special which was $8.28 before tax and came with a drink. The menu listed the drink as being 16 ozs and it was clearly much smaller than that. Taste was ok but too sweet. Menu is pricey here

Staff are quick, friendly and accommodating. Chicken pad Thai is delicious.
