Most of the poutines out there have salty aftertaste, this tasted sodium free with healthy portion of cheese curds. Nothing wrong at all!

This place gives extraordinary service and flavorful meals. One of my favourite restaurants around town. The meals are served at great pace. Ask for raman if you want a meal you won't forget for life.

I absolutely love the food at NY Fries. My only issue lies with my most recent order via Skip the Dishes. I requested to have more than the usual 1 packet of ketchup for my fries. Instead, I got almost a dozen mustard and relish packets, with my hotdog slathered in ketchup (I only ever use mustard in my hotdog) A lack of attention goes a long way at times. Still a good meal.

Best place to get a poutine or fries and gravy. They have delicious gravy and their fries are perfect for poutines. A little crisp on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. They use a good quality cheese curds for the poutine.

New York Fries is my favourite place to get poutine. The gravy is so creamy and flavourful. The smell of the fries are mouthwatering. Honestly speaking this place has fries much, much better than the fries I’ve tasted in other restaurants.

I love New York Fries, it is so delicious. It's a meal in itself. I have one whenever I go to the mall and I'm never disappointed in my choice of delicious fries lathered with gravy and cheese. My kids loves them so much that they would go to the mall just for this delicious treat.

Very generous gravy portions on the poutine! I love it!

Good fries. Good poutine. I sometimes will buy a hotdog. But with Covid , they have less toppings. No sauerkraut.

Their fries are so good. Always buy large boxes of Poutine and the Works. Never get tired of these.

Came her January 24th and the closing staff wasn't friendly or inviting, my poutine was over done and tasted horrible and like the frieds were done prior and just dipped in the oil again to heat it up. Not impressed.

Try as they did it just wasn’t worth the price. Firstly we ordered the works which has...well everything so, free or not, up selling the chipotle sauce offered nothing except to waste a sauce. The fries were overdone, under seasoned, and all I could taste was the chilli. Then the cashier went to handle food in the back without washing her hands after handing money, that’s going to get someone sick.

We got ‘the works.’ The fries were very crunchy. The amount of toppings to fries ratio was off kilter. There was tones of gravy left over after we finished. It just felt like we got soup vs fries with toppings. The lady doing the cash went and was also making food with out washing her hands, then back to doing the orders. She had a new staff that she was training. Don’t teach new employees your bad habits. Service was slooow at the best of times.
Yum Yum
Slow service, bad service but good fries. Been here many times and always get the grumpy big kid taking my order. Why does he work there still?!always rude and always looks pissed off. Fire the kid pleaseeeeee lol

I haven’t had New York Fries in probably over a decade. When I was at the new Guildford Mall over the weekend, I had a sudden craving for some greasy, deep-fried fries. My friends and I ordered two different poutines: the pulled pork poutine and the braised beef poutine. I don’t think either was available when I last had NYF. My friends enjoyed the braised beef poutine. It had slow-cooked chunks of Angus beef, carrots, onions and mushroom. There were generous amounts of cheese and fries. It was served piping hot and was quite tasty. I liked the pulled pork poutine better. I guess I am more of a pork girl. It had slow-cooked pulled pork in a spicy, smoky sauce. It also came with lots of cheese curds. My friends weren’t really a fan of the pulled pork sauce, but I enjoyed it. Like eating anything deep-fried, it eventually gets too greasy and filling. We didn’t end up finishing the two regular-sized poutines, but we did a pretty good job. I would go
