Review Vegan Pizza House - Surrey

I drove 30 minutes to get food from here because of their extensive vegan menu and I would do it again! I ordered online (which was super simple) and when I arrived there was only one man working. He still had my order completed in a timely manner, was very friendly and reiterated that everything is vegan. If you’re looking for a melted cheese type of pizza, then you won’t find that here, but the pizza was extremely flavourful and well cooked. I also got a salad, dipping sauce, lasagna, two drinks AND a nanaimo bar for only 25$!! You seriously can’t beat the prices here. The fact that everything is vegan also takes away any anxiety around possibly eating dairy or meat. My only complaint would be the interior. It could definitely use some renovations but as somebody who prefers to take-out, I’m not that bothered by it. Thank you for being a wonderful food source for vegans 🌱💚

WOW! amazing customer service and quality of food, my pizza was loaded with toppings and had a delicious cheese twas better than any other cheese i’ve had(it puts daiya to shame), they have the most diverse vegan options i’ve ever seen and offer a gluten free crust which was doughy and delicious. upon arriving to the restaurant the woman who made my pizza informed me she saw the note i made saying i was celiac and explained she had a celiac family member so made sure to give extra clean to any areas to avoid cross contamination which was very reassuring to know the person who made my food cared to not make me sick and was knowledgeable in how to prevent contamination. all and all amazing pizza and a fraction of the cost of other chains: as a comparison, for a gluten free plant based medium pizza at panago i would have paid 22.75$ where as here i only paid 17.18$ for same size and way better quality/more toppings

I have never tried much of vegan food before and was trying to find a good meat free filling substitute and have to say i was totally mindblown. Not only where the pizzas nicely topped (not something you see much now days), they tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are vegan or just trying to find something new to taste. The owner of the store is super friendly as well and you can tell he is passionate about his food which enlightened the entire experience.

We live in Coquitlam. On a lark, we decided to try Vegan Pizza House. While this restaurant is in an unusual location, and the decor is that of a typical pizzeria, their pizza was absolutely the best vegan pizza we've ever had. We ordered the Vegan House Special Pizza, and were delighted by: non-tooth-sticking-cheese, very delicious meat substitutes, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and olives. It was delicious, hardy, filling and satisfying. My son, who isn't vegan—and generally doesn't like vegan food—quite enjoyed it. We are definitely going to make the trek out to Vegan Pizza House again to try some more of their items.

Went there for lunch got the spicy beef vegan pizza, and I was very happy with it. It was a thin crust, newton free, and there were so many toppings it was massive. The place was clean, service was very friendly

I really want to support this place because it is vegan and it’s one of the few places that delivers in new west and Surrey area. It’s alright pizza. The cheese has a weird texture and is not melty. The pizza is often over topped and comes to us soggy. It’s not really a pleasure to eat unless you’re having it right out of the oven. Unfortunately, this location is also set up really weird too. They conceal there kitchen with what looks like dirty old hospital dividers. It feels dusty and old and not somewhere I want to pick up food from let alone eat at. While I would probably order the veggie pizzas again because of the delivery proximity. I wouldn’t personally recommend it to anyone. I’m leaving a 3 stars because it’s still a business that’s committed to staying meat free and their gluten free crust is actually decent.

Was difficult to find the place but was a pleasent surprise food was very good and they serve 100% vegan . Though their salad was little salty but combined with other items it neutralized. It's a must try for vegan lovers. Will post pictures next time

Going with 4/5 because place is a new find for me. Will update when I get more food from this location. I did enjoy their Combo #5 with medium pizzas (3 toppings); medium baked lasagna with salads & garlic bread. Added a Souvlakia combo. Two pizza slices later, I was stuffed, and happy with choices.

My favourite Pizza I've ever had. The owner is super nice, the seating area could use a little love, but over all I absolutely love everything I've ate there. I recommend takeout and eating in. They're a small shop doing a great thing for Vegans and non here in Vancouver � Anyone I've fed this pizza to, vegan and non, have raved about it! It saddens me that all of the low rating reviews are just focused on the delivery service, it sounds to me like they are used to say Dominos or some other franchise delivery service. Remember this is a small business and they are probably doing the best they can! ��

The pizza is so good. Daiya isn't that good, but on VPH pizza it works. The meat substitutes are good. It's perfect, classic junk food pizza. SO affordable. Like $8 lasagne? $21 large pizza? They're serving specialty food for cheaper than the mainstream. They quoted me an hour and delivered in half an hour! If you're not happy with the delivery times, they're now on DoorDash which is $6 delivery under 60 minutes. No need to stop supporting a small independent vegan business just 'cause of the delivery times! The owner is so friendly, he went above and beyond trying to help me secure a pizza to my bike one time.

This is my favorite vegan restaurant of all time! I was visiting Vancouver for a week in August and ate here almost every day of my stay. Vegan pizza house alone is a good enough reason to start planning my next trip to BC. My omni husband also loved the pizza here. I also recommend trying the spanikopita, nanaimo bar, and bubble tea!

Ordered pizza, waited 2 hours, called numerous times, kept being told ten more mins. It arrived Luke warm. They still asked me to pay for it..... Do not recommend. Will not go/call back. The quality of the pizza is not worth the wait. Especially on a nice evening, no weather or traffic issues.

Glad I found out about this little vegan pizza house. The food was delicious and you can find anything from hearty meals to healthy salads and of course pizza!

The pizza really is excellent. The crust tastes great and is the perfect thickness. Toppings are always fresh and the pizza sauce is soooo good. The staff are always friendly. The big issue is the unreliability with their hours. Two weeks ago I drove there during their listed open hours but they were closed. No sign on the door explaining why. Nothing. Today I have called 6 times and no answer. The line just drops, no voice mail. This has happened before and is really frustrating. I know this is a small business and staffing/wages can be difficult, but something has to be done to correct this situation. Die-hard vegan and small business supporters like myself eventually give up.

We arrived 9.40 and ordered cheese pizza and ham pizza , were ready in 15 min, my first time and the pizza was amazing! There is no excuse for a new vegans , now you got a vegan pizzeria! Enjoy it !

AmaaaaaaaIng!!! I got the All Dress pizza - vegan Ham, Vegan cheddar cheese, mushroom and pineapple... Loved it! The best pizza ever. Can't wait to go back and try the other!

The best thing about pay day in Vancouver was that it meant ordering 2+ pizza's for dinner. I really, really miss this place. They need to expand into Edmonton. Yes, the wait for delivery was sometimes agonizing, but it was always worth it when it showed up. I've never had a problem with my pizza's, and both the crew in the shop and whomever was delivering were always a pleasure to deal with.

It's been 3 hours since we ordered our pizzas and they still haven't arrived. No one is answering at the restaurant and the mailbox is full so we cannot leave a message. Is it still coming? Is this good customer service? We'd not ordered from Vegan Pizza House in the past due to similar shoddy service but this fixes it. Never again. Other pizza joints in the city offer vegan pizza. They'll get our business from now on.

Delicious Pizza! The Cook's Special is phenomenal but my favourite is the Classic Hawaiian, yes pineapple DOES go on Pizza! Delivery is always on time and the pizza is always delicious, still fresh & hot! So happy to be able to order delicious vegan pizza to my door!

We absolutely LOVE this place! The food is delicious, and we can't say enough about the great customer service. We have ordered delivery for special events, and the food was there on time, and our guests absolutely loved it!

Holy damn, they make a mean pizza. I hope someday they use something other than Daya, cuz it's not my fav, but everything else tastes so good I can't even. OM NOM NOM

The food is great but everytime I order in it takes over an hour to arrive and it's always later than their estimated delivery time. I love the pizzas but I don't know if I will order anymore. It's just way too long of a wait every single time!
