Review Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Surrey

Went through the drive thru, the service was slow but that's besides the point. I paid $26.00 for a blizzard, a salad (with chicken) and a moolate. The salad cost $13.00 which I thought was a bit pricy. I found what appears to be a piece of bone in my salad. I'm assuming it's the "bacon". I chomped on it and immediately had pain in my tooth, spat it out to examine and this is what it looks like.

Had the worst visit today. The lady working at the drive-through window (June 27 at 4:20 ) should definitely not be working there. My food items container was wet from the top, she only apologized and did not even offered to make it again. She had a sarcastic face when I said I need the receipt to give you guys a Google review. Please have more educated people working at this location as the people currently working do not know their job.

Worst experience at a Dairy Queen out of all of them I’ve been to. I’m not a picky person either. Three times I’ve been here each time thinking maybe a different staff member would make my blizzard differently but they didn’t. They don’t use the measurements they are provided with by the company and instead just toss a bunch of each ingredient in. Every other dairy queen I’ve been to the blizzards I order are usually somewhat similar in make up. I ordered my favourite- the chocolate brownie extreme and it was overfilled with the chocolate bits and hardly any of the chocolate sauce… I also tried the cotton candy blizzard and they put a disgusting amount of the cotton candy bits in it was like there was hardly any ice cream. It sucks because this place is so close to where I live it would be nice to just be able to walk to DQ on a hot summer night and enjoy an ice cream but unfortunately I’d just be wasting my money and disappointed. 😔

I’ve never had problems with the ice cream from this location, but the cleanliness of the outside parking lot concerns me about the cleanliness of the inside. I’ve seen rats running around everywhere, garbage in parking lot, all the outside bins are overfilled, and the drive thru puts you next to their dumpster and the area is just nasty. Maybe spend some time cleaning up the exterior of the place.

Zero pride from this franchise. The parking lot and drive thru was littered with garbage. Inside, the lobby looks as though it has not been clean in weeks. Employees talked among themselves and didn’t greet customers. Above average DQ price compared to other franchises. $15+ for a cheeseburger, fries and drink is very steep and not worth it at all the quality is not there. Next time I will avoid this location for something to eat and visit Brown’s Social House up the road where you get better quality for your dollar.

Quite possibly the worst Dairy Queen in the world 🙃 I’m not one to leave reviews but I hope the manager sees this. My burger was not cooked all the way through and the pop was flat as could be. Why did this take fifteen minutes to make it to the window? This was really, really bad. Every time I’ve been here service is bad but an uncooked burger?! Yikes.

Went thru the drive thru, saw the prices and left. Didn’t even order. I can get a cheaper, better quality burger at any pub or restaurant. You guys are pricing out your customers. Wouldn’t be surprised if this location (or all DQs for that matter) closed permanently soon

Trash. Slowest serice, unfriendly staff, and can't take an order properly. We turned our engine off in the drive thru because they took 20 mins for a dipped cone and a blizzard. There was nobody else there.

$6 Bacon Cheese burger does ot atch tv ads. Supposed to be crispy bacon. The bacon I got today (Jan 6, 2015) was grey, limp as a wet noodle. It was NOT crispy. It had NO color. It was the color of bacon that has just started cooking. Grey. Staff said that was how the pre-cooked bacon was supplied. It did NOT look anything like the bacon on their commercials. Avoid the bacon cheeseburger. The fries were crispy and flavorful. I can, at least, recommend their fries.

Terrible service from rude staff. Ordered a large Father's Day cake and ended up having to decorate it ourselves . No flowers or anything on the cake, just a poorly written happy Father's Day . Tried getting it fixed up again but the staff rudely refused. Oh well we used to buy lots of cakes and treats from this location but never again,,,, and we will be spreading the word.

Went there and ordered a crispy chicken burger well it wasn't crispy it was soggy and now it's coming out both ends so disgusting never eat that shit again

This location and the DQ on Scott road are absolutely terrible and the have worst customer service I've experienced. I ordered an image for my cake and at the last minute they backed out saying they don't do it leaving me scrambling to go to a different DQ store that would do it. The manager and owner refused to honor my order even though it was their lack of training that screwed my order up (They took my order and money already).Utterly disgusting service. Definitely would not go to this location ever and wouldn't recommend them either. Their store is unappealing too.
