Review Wings - Surrey - Surrey

Fast service and staff are super nice. Food is really good. But they can do better with their fries. They can make it a little bit crunchy at least. It was a little bit soggy when it got to our table. One of my friend said that her fries was cold already when she received it. The staff replaced it with full order of fries. Overall food is great and ambience is perfect for hanging out with friends and family.

Great place for a Sunday family lunch. Not only are the Wings half off, they’re all yummy too. Really a bang for your buck. My boys tried their Broccoli and Cheese soup too. We loved all the wings but my faves are Salt and Pepper, Honey Garlic and Maple Bacon. Fast and friendly service too. We will surely be back.

Asked for extra sauce paid $70 for our food and this is what we got. Complained went back and still totally disappointed that we didn’t even bother to say anything again. Will never be eating here again and would never recommend. They’re literally a wing place and should take pride in their food but clearly don’t. Go to a pizza place and order wings there instead I’m sure it’ll be better than this.

Nice ambiance and good selection of food. We loved their Cajun chicken pasta. They missed a dish from our order but the server and the manager apologized for the mixup. Because of their kind behavior we think they deserve 4 stars and another chance

Order - buffalo wings and eastern flavoured wings… The buffalo one were terrific as always but I didn’t like the eastern ones as they were too much cinnamony, so threw them away and adjusted with just one pack of buffalo wings.. Trust me buffalo wings are a must try.

Just had dinner with my Mom here today and met the manager Jennifer! Since it was understandably busy she was able to help us out with payment and was so friendly. Such a great end to the experience talking with her! Much appreciated (:

First time eating here and my server for the evening was a woman named Janelle who was a real sweetheart. Love an attentive waitress that brings extra napkins! The food was excellent, Will be back soon and will especially leave a big tip if I see her again.

First time visiting this location and I’ll never go back. My friend and I ordered the same main but the waiter forgot to give my order to the staff in the back and as a result I sat around waiting for my food for an hour. The waiter would not give me any update on where my food was. I understand mistakes can happen but the staff was not helpful at all, they did not try to make up for anything (usually restaurants will give a discount or a free dessert to make up for it). After waiting for an hour I just told my waiter to bring the bill and to not bring my food. She was unfazed by everything that transpired. Other wings locations have much better service. Do not go to this location. Boston pizza is a block away. MUCH better service there and the staff is very friendly.

Shame on you for having a drink glorifying serial killer Willie Pickton. You better do some scrambling for damage control.

Good place to celebrate special occasions

I've never had a good experience at Wing's, and now finding out that some twat put a "Willie Pickton" shooter on the menu just seals the deal. For what it's worth, I'll never set foot in a Wing's restaurant again and I will STRONGLY encourage people to follow suit. Do us all a favour and go bankrupt.

Great place, amazing service and good food. No complaints... you wouldn't know what area you are in with the level of service of this establishment.

This place should be burnt down!! .. huge disrespect to the community. I'm Disappointed and disgusted. All the employees and the manager should be ashamed of themselves. Fucking clowns
Nona Bear
Seriously who thought it was ok to name a drink after a serial killer. Someone who caused so much pain in our province something that's hits hard in community. These wounds are still fresh and naming this drink after him just cuts deeper. Why would you think people were going to be ok with this or find this funny because it's not.

Good food, price is right, excellent service. Will be going back soon..

It is disgusting that you named a drink after Robert William "Willie" Pickton who as convicted in 2007 of the second-degree murders of six women and sentenced to life in prison, with no possibility of parole for 25 years – the longest sentence then available under Canadian law for murder. Publicising his notoriety contributes to the subculture of violence against women.
Scotty Schumann
Large menu, nice big room with relaxed atmosphere. Wings were good but way over priced. Would rather go to Brewster's due to price.
Pete Rasmussen
Naming a drink after Robert Willie Pickton is the lowest, sickest thing I have ever heard of. God knows what else they do. Do Not give your money to these Very Very Sick People.
Peter Vk
Its been awhile since been there but always had a good experience.
Kari Strutt
Hard to imagine that anyone would OK this drink name. What could you be thinking? I'd make a go at damage control. Canadians respond pretty well to heartfelt apologies. A donation to a women's shelter might also be in order. Do the right thing.

Absolutely worst experience. My family went here for their wing night and we had to send our food back twice. By the time the food was correct our daughter was too exhausted to eat. They ended up charging us full price in order to get our food Togo. To make matters worse it was very poor service. I will not be returning to this establishment. And I would advise against anyone else going.

Honestly won't be coming to this location ever again. We came for the Canucks game and asked for the sound to the game. The server game back and said the bartender is the DJ and will not change it because of the vibe. We cancelled our order and decided to go somewhere else. The manager came over and changed it to the game. Then when the 3rd period started the DJ played the music again and turned off the game. We asked for our bills and requested the game again and they never changed it. Never come to wings in surrey for a Canucks game. The server Brendan was the only good part of the evening. He was good at his job.

Food was slow to come and turned out below average. Wings were smaller than we thought it would be and the chicken alfredo was very bland. I had such high hopes from all the reviews. Doubtful we will come back.
Dave
Overall it was very good. Service was excellent and staff at s very friendly. The food is also very good and well priced. Enjoyed this place and would definitely go back and recommend

Who doesn't like eating wings and visiting Wings?

NOBODY. Because everyone loves Wings. The closest location to where I lived and I couldn't be happier.

Amazing food, great vibe, good service and worth the money.

My personal favorite is their Crispy Calypso Chicken Sandwich and Grilled Bbq wings

The wings here were just disappointing considering it's their namesake. They were very dry and bland...not very appetizing at all. Honestly wouldn't come here for food.

Terrible, will not go again at all. Went there 3x with bad service and the first was alright. I usually enjoy the one on lougheed. But I live in Panorama, so this would of been the perfect spot if their staff treated us well. So, I guess we'll try the white rock location! Details: It take them about 5-10 minutes to notice we're standing at the door. And then when they come to great us, it feels like we're kinda of a bother rather than customer. Then when we sit down, without menus, we wait longer. First time we didn't experience this, hasty service and the food was alright, kinda cold when they got it to us tho. The first time we got bad service we literally sat there for a good 10 - 15 minutes without menus waiting on our server. The place wasn't rockin in no way and there were definitely enough servers around to at least let us know that they will be with us shortly, which we would of been satisfied with. After we got our menus, we then again waited.... and waited... and waited... I am not sure if anyone else gets this or is it just we go at a bad time, but either the way it's all about customer service! After we got our food, I don't think we saw our server again until we were able to catch her for the bill. The final time was the last time unfortunately, the same thing happened to us yet, instead of receiving our menus, I politely went up and got them from the host desk. Was not a happy camper, but I was willing to wait a couple more minutes for them to notice us. Waited... waited... again no service. Now I was upset, I went to the bar to speak to someone and said hey this is what happened, he said with a straight face okay, thank-you... terrible, will not be doing this for a fourth time....

Went on Sunday to give the all day wings a try (wings for 0.59 with purchase of drink). Price is average in town, however the wings with overly deep fried, i.e., too dry and skinny.
Not much service as the servers are really amateurs.
Probably won't come back unless in the area. Had much better wings at other establishments (e.g., Pint in downtown Vancouver has very juicy wings).

The service is okay but most waiters aren't super friendly just bare minimum respectful. The food however is very good and greatly priced. I recommend the cajun quesadillas they're the bomb.

I had, hands down, the WORST dining experience here. We went in a party of five and three of the meals showed up. After waiting another ten minutes, we asked the waiter where the remaining meals were and he said he'd ask the kitchen. He returned and said they would be out shortly, and while he was at our table we ordered some wings to go home with us as well. After 15 minutes the packed up wings showed up but still no entrees. He went, once again, to ask the kitchen. Then he came back and informed us that they had in fact packaged our entrees with the wings to go home. Since they had now been sitting for 15 minutes, they were soggy and lukewarm. I stated that l wanted to eat with my friends, not at home and he said "well l'm sorry, the kitchen is now closed". I couldn't believe it, so we said we'd take the bill and he had the nerve to charge us full price for everything! I told him l wasn't going to pay for my meal seeing as l didn't even get to eat it, so he took it away so l couldn't even take it home. We were nothing but nice and understanding with him but he took full advantage of us. We asked to speak to the manager three times and every time we could see the waiter go to the manager but the manager would shrug and walk away. I have never been so poorly treated at a restaurant. I will NEVER come back here.

Wings - not if you have a gluten allergy. Just returned from Wings for dinner and I will never go back. We were a table of 4 with 2 of us having gluten allergies. We waited for 15 mins for the gluten menu and when our waitress returned it looked as if she had printed it off a computer in the back office. On the bottom of our menu it listed the gluten free wing options - great we will order those only to be told by our waitress that they do not offer them, then why are they on the menu, because sometimes people like to put seasoning on fries etc. (which are not gluten free!!!!) ok i will have a caesar salad with chicken. after waiting 30 mins in a very unbusy restaurant my salad, which was served on a side plate, arrived with croutons, garlic bread and no dressing!!! really people this is not that difficult to understand, so i return it and the manager says he will remake it as quick as possible and upsize to a full size for the inconvenience. My new salad arrives again with no dressing but at this point i give up as my table has already finished eating. best part is my bill arrives and i have been charged more for a full size salad!!!! I understand it is difficult to deal with peoples special orders but really there is nothing that special about a caesar salad!!!!

Once was enough. My hot wings were thin bony wings with no sauce. In fact I thought they didn't add any sauce. I had a Greek salad with no tomatoes and way too much dressing. They even messed up our beer order. Nice people but food was less than mediocre. First time at a Wings and likely the last.

I just walked out of the Wings in Newton. When I walked in I was not greeted by the host who was standing there picking at her nails. Since it is a nice day we asked to be seated on the patio. The host sighed and said "I guess so." Once on the patio we sat there for 15 min with out being acknowledged. We had 2 servers pass us and even stand near us while having a personal conversation. We finally walked out. There were many people in the restaurant and patio but no staff in sight. I have never had a problem with this location however it appears that things have gone down hill.

Horrible service. Take out not much better.. I Have gone to eat here on a number of occasions during Hockey games and such when you want the "Pub" feel. One of such time there was a little girl about 3-4 running around the place (I'm a Mom and it was my night out) so I was not too imprressed about that, but that is not the establishments fault.

The HORRIBLE service however is their fault. I ended up having the WORST server in the world. She had 3 or 4 tables and she couldn't get her butt over to our table to do anything. I had to get out of my chair numerous times in order to get a beer, serviettes and even to complain about our wings being cold. For a place that calls themselves "WINGS" that is pretty embarassing. I ended up complaining to the manager and got 50% off my food bill (not the beer though).

I have also tried ordering out from here. I found that worked slightly better as the night I was ordering there was a hockey game on and therefor there was a large lineup. I had to push through about 50 15-25 year olds in order to even get inside to retrieve my order. I then paid and left (pushing my way out). Once home I found that my wings were still warm and tasted good, but my salad was lacking the dressing and croutons. Again a phone call to the manager and I now have 1 lb of wings the next time I order...... If I order that is.

Best Wings Ever. I have been going to this place for nearly 5 yrs and almost 3 times a month. Their wings are exceptional at this location. I have tried their other locations as well but this place is the best. A good place to hangout with friends. Their service at times is slow even when they aren't busy. Over all its a greg value for money and excellent food.

Very decent. This was my third visit to this location but the first visit that wasn't on a half price wings day (sunday). but we were surprised to find that their wings were still on special (buy pound of wings and for 20 cents extra, you get a sleeve of beer). i guess they have a special for every night of the week?? anyways, it was a nice surprise cause we had originally planned to order an assortment of wings and a few beers before getting there.
i don't know if it's just my computer, but their website doesn't work properly (pages don't open). we wanted to get a look at their wing menu before we go there so that was kind of annoying.
so we ordered 4 different types of wings this time around:
kootenay bear bbq: my personal fave. sort of a lightly sweet mesquite bbq. sometimes not salty enough but very tasty
jakarta heat: spouse's fave but too tangy for me
bula fiji: chili garlic... pretty good
texas rub: yummy but very similar to the kootenay minus the sugar plus some salt
takes guts to name a place after a menu item but the wings are that good! crispy, juicy and flavorful. i like the variety in flavors and also like how they tell you which ones are dry and which one are wet on their menu.
a couple of flavors i've tried in the past that i didn't like are: chicago salt and pepper (wasn't a fan of the too coarse salt and pepper) and jamaican (weird)
a couple of flavors we have enjoyed in the past: maui lime, and canadian maple.
we also ordered:
mini burgers: 3 mini burgers so it was perfect for us as there was 3 of us dining. they were pretty good but i wish they toasted the buns. it would have made a big difference
shrimp gyoza: hmmm... it was ok but i wouldn't order it again
dry ribs: good flavor but overdone
chicken quesadilla: not good... bland
so far, can't recommend anything other than the wings here =/
i do recommend the service we received tho. the server dropped what she was doing not once but twice when we requested something and did it first and fast.

Decent.. Flavour was pretty good, but a bit too crispy.
i recommend the cajun bbq though. delicious
great atmosphere and servers though

Best wings in the restaurant business. However, this location is heavily populated by the younger crowd, in particular, the troubled youth. Don't be surprised to see youth lighting up a joint on the premises. Avoid bringing children here. Other locations are great for family affairs.

Since they renovated and went through new management a few years back, the food has gone downhill. It took an hour and a half for us to be seated. My friend ordered the jammin Jamaican wings only for it to be served soggy and cold. I ordered the broccoli soup and it was definitely not fresh and the broccoli was past it's natural green color. Lastly they decided to go cheap with measuring how much sauce u get as informed to us by our embarassed server when we complained. This place is alright with the price but their food is definitely different if u were a regular.

Slow kitchen but good wings.

The four of us had Kalypso, Buffalo, Bacon, and Sweet Thai with 4 orders of ranch dipping sauce. I usually get the WOWY sauce.. or is it WOWE? Anyways, if you havent, try it!

Wings Tap and Grill has a location in Newton Surrey and it was just packed on Sunday! Every Sunday they have wings and beer specials. It's such a good deal that it's hard to pass up! Wings are $0.47 each…. is use to be $0.39 but I guess they had to change their prices. Maybe it was a new thing a month ago because their Facebook page said it is $0.39. One thing that is mandatory is a drink purchase as well to get the cheaper wings. The Social Media Network crew decided to hang out on Sundays for their wing special. We waited about an hour to get a table for 8. Okanagan Spring Pale Ale is a good accompaniment with wings! It also has subtle hints of honey and citrus, so it's not too bitter. The Original Westcoaster has fresh lemon peels and cracked black pepper. I found the taste to be inconsistent with a few of my wings. Some had a nice subtle lemon taste, but then some other ones would be crazy sour and salty. It definitely confused me. Chicago Salt & Pepper is just very simple, but y

I went to Wings in Surrey just this Monday after work with a buddy. We were quickly seated, and ordered 4 pounds of wings...
