Review Manchu Wok - Surrey

Amazing food and fantastic service. Katherine at the front counter always greets me with a warm smile (through the mask lol) whenever I stop by for lunch. I often have a hard time deciding which incredible combo items to choose as they all taste delicious. I have been coming here for a while now and will continue to be a regular.

Gotta be here on good day of the week when the food is fresh, if you are lucky its best meal for 10 bucks.

This place is hit or miss. The food is excellent but if it's been sitting there for a while it's awful. So it's always a risk eating here. You never know what you're going to get. Today the food was great. There's always a good variety. The food is full of flavor. The prices are high but it's a food court so it's to be expected. I really enjoy the soup here. And they make it fresh to order so the noodles are never soggy and old. Wherever the food looks not so fresh I go with the beef noodle soup.

The best Manchu Wok out there. I don’t know what their secret is, but food always fresh, tasty and the portions are very generous. I’d travel extra just to go to this location over any others.

Updating my review from a few months ago.the food didn’t taste that great last time I ate there and I had to throw it out so I gave them a bad review.I decided to give them a second chance recently and it was very very good. Maybe they have a new cook now but it was wonderful and very tasty

Pretty good food! I never ordered here before and the employee--I didn't get her name--was very helpful by telling me how it all worked. Can't really say much about it since I've had like one order, but not bad at all in any accounts. She recommended the honey garlic chicken and that was a winner. Thanks!

Owner is always so friendly and nice, my go to is their spicy tofu on white rice - yum 😋

So I come here every so often because my son loves sweet and sour pork so he always picks Manchu Wok when we come to the food court for lunch. I don’t eat pork but I have had the honey garlic chicken and it is wayyy too sweet, but overall the food is quite good. The reason for the 1-Star rating is because they are the rudest people I have ever encountered. Honestly I don’t understand how they get away with it. One time they were trying to tell me that I ordered an item that I never asked for and they were arguing with me and yelling at me, then speaking Chinese to each other thinking I didn’t understand but they were swearing and saying really mean things. When I told them I understood they swore at me in English. I banned them for years and went back because of my son, but another incident occurred recently when they gave me a scoop of sweet and sour pork and the I got the sesame chicken for my daughter who doesn’t eat pork either but they put less than the pork. So I asked them to put a bit more and they were so pissed saying that they gave me the standard amount so I just asked can you please just add a couple more pieces of chicken to make it even? They were arguing with me again when it was clearly uneven in their serving sizes! People were staring but they did not give a sh!t and were so rude to me, raising their voices in front of my kids! She finally added one piece of chicken and shoved it back at me. I will NEVER return to Manchu Wok again - they have no right to yell at anyone or rip anyone off for that matter! If you want fast food Chinese, go to Top King or Guildford food court.

Wow!. Worst ginger chicken ever. Tasteless covered in fat and dry. Terrible customer service. Walk past this.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced from the employees at the surrey central location. I will never give them my money again. They will lie and say that you ordered something you didn't and try to make you pay. Awful.
