What does it tell you when a place is always busy with people waiting to dine in? It means the food is great, and my visit today was no disappointment. I had #33 chicken with spicy sweet and sour sauce. Servers were attentive even though it was very busy. Portions are large. Good value in my opinion. If you haven’t eaten here I highly recommend!
We ordered one of their combos and their food was delicious! Their Jjajangmyeon was flavorful, noodles are chewy and I would definitely come back for more. Friendly staff too!
What a great find! I really enjoyed the food here. The jjajangmyeon does not seem to have a very strong flavor when you first try it, but trust me it's low key delicious. The sweet and sour fried chicken was also very good. It was cool how the chicken was on a bed of veggies with the sauce underneath, it keeps your chicken crispy right to the last second, and a single leaf of spinach with my mouthful of fried chicken just makes me feel a liiiitle better. 🤣 The spicy seafood noodles were nice too, lots of flavour.
Also, despite other people's complaints about the cost increases I still thought this place was very reasonably priced. For $50 combo C was more than enough for my group of 3, it could have fed 4 people no in problem. It must have been really crazy cheap before though.
Haven’t been here for a while but as usual it was busy.
They have waiting system and texts you when your turn is up. Nice to have this option for a small restaurant.
We ordered combo B. Black bean noodle + seafood noodle soup + sweet and sour pork.
Black bean noodle and sweet and sour pork sauce is little bland. Price is a little bit more expensive than others but overall good.
Employees are nice and very polite which is always a plus in my books.
Great restaurant. Food was served quickly. The portions were very big. And, it tasted so good! The Fried Chicken here is really text book perfect. The service was really good. The servers were moving in every direction to get it done. And, the beauty was asking any server for help would work. They all managed the front of the house as a team.
I look forward to coming back!
Chuihong Korean Chinese Restaurant has been on my list for a long time and I finally got to try it!
Their seafood noodles with black bean sauce was so good and they were able to make it without pork. If you’re not a fan of onions you need to ask them to tone it down because this dish typically has a lot!
The kkanpunggi (spicy sweet & sour fried chicken) comes piping hot, crispy, and a perfect balance of sweet, tart and spicy flavours! I love the Korean version of this popular Chinese dish when made well and not overly sweet.
It was quite busy at lunch time but it’s a good sign that the food is authentic when most people inside are Korean. The servers weren’t the most attentive but once they noticed we needed something they were very quick to come and were efficient and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and get more nostalgic dishes!
Friendly service, and great food. Definitely recommend for the authentic Korean Chinese food.
Quaint, small restaurant with delicious Korean food. The black bean noodles were our favourite, and the spicy seafood noodle soup was a bit flavour less. Prices were surprisingly inexpensive. They don't use fresh seafood, wish they gave an option to pay extra for it.
