Review Bbq Nation - Surrey

I just came to BBQ Nation to try the exotic burgers. The place is nice, clean and ample. BBQ Nation has a sign outside saying that they have kangaroo, bison, crocodile, ostrich, dear and wild boar. I tried the bison burger. The bun was nice but the burger dressing was average. The burger Patty was well done but juice. I was told by the cook that the bison patty is 6 ounces while the other ones are 4. Cheese and/or bacon are extra. These burgers are $13 and do not come with fries not a drink. I ordered the bison burger, fries and a drink. It was $19 and change. To be sincere I could not tell if that was bison or regular cow. I plan to try them all.

nice and clean restaurant, good customer service and the food is very good also. portions are kind of small though. efficient at serving the food. I loved eating here, will definitely eat here again!

So many flavour options to pair with your delicious dish selections. Food is great with reasonable prices and service is helpful and friendly. The site has pretty ample parking spots.

Placed an order on skip the dishes. Apparently this tiny order of calamari is 10 dollars...not sure if the portions are this small in the restaurant but I definitely won't be ordering from here again. Terrible value.

They have great food! And different tastes you might not usually eat. Like kangaroo, crocodile, and ostrich meat. I had a crocodile wrap. It was really good! We will be back.

I had a great dinner with my son, it was a nice atmosphere as well. Our burgers were amazing to boot. We will definitely be back!

Went there to try the veggie options as recommended by some friends. Simply amazing. We each had the classic veggie burger with tandoori sauce (it was so good we ordered another one between the two of us), soy tandoori chops, and the fries. All were amazing and service was great. The side green mint chutney with the soy chops was very nice as well. Excited to go back and try some more options.

Taste of the chicken was good. The burger and fries are sold at separate prices and nothing extra ordinary in taste. Over priced and small portions. The calamari sounds good in the description but was avg and tasteless with a very small portion for the price. Taste is average and the advertising on the board outside had incorrect info and they refused to match that when we were ordering. Not apologetic to provide good service or to do it for a first time customer. I'd not waste my money there again.

Amazing restaurant one of our favorite restaurants ! The food is always fresh ; their service is top notch ! For our Christmas party , they did all the catering : two turkeys tons of sides stuffing gravy! A party of 60 people all loved the food ! They do all kinds of parties and catering ! The owners are so friendly ! I highly highly recommend this place ! Today : I had steak and prawns: cooked to perfection !!! Seriously: check this place out if you’re ever in Surrey: it’s a hidden gem !

Amazing food, Great Service & Best location in Surrey. They do have really good lunch Buffet. monday to Friday .. Many choices including Butter Chicken, Tandori chicken & Fish Pakora. Executive Chef Rakesh Bharti is really good.. He has great experience in Hospitality industry.. They do catering & Delivery...It's really great place to relax as they have TV.. Highly recommend to Everyone!!

Me and my wife visit this place like every week.. food is great..service is awesome..reasonable price.. they have everyday specials.. great ambiance..thank to you guys for making our visits special.. �

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Garbage staff don't know customer service. Friend found a staple in her food they didn't even give her a refund or another meal.

This place is the best! I got a bison wrap with Peri sauce (the cashier recommended it) and it was amazing! The food was wonderful and filling and the customer service was exceptional! They deliver, too~ I am for sure going back again and have already told all of my friends and coworkers about it. 10/10

Awesome! They catered our Xmas ραяту on Dec 9 2017 for 60 people. The turkeys were tender and delicious. The gravy, homemade cranberry sauce and Incredible stuffing were a hit. Everything was made from scratch and their prices are reasonable.

One of the best customer service experience we have had. Friendly owner went above and beyond his means to make sure we were happy. Ordered a family meal and had enough plus extra food for 4 adults. Amazing BBQ chicken and will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

I had the salmon. It was good. Not great but good, and I didn't have to cook it. I wasn't thrilled with the rice. I wish I had an option of what kind of rice to have. I didn't like the flavour they gave me.

Good value for the price. Only tried burgers and wings so far. No complaints about the service. Clean restaurant. :)

BBQ Nation was excellent. The prices were cheaper and reasonable. It was much better than Nando's, but I prefer the best Portuguese chicken in the world - Barcelo's.

My kids love the burgers here, so we decided to try skip the dishes and ordered the lemon and herb chicken wings. They were awful - tasted like milky pesto sauce with lemon zest. We actually rinsed off all the sauce at home and made a buffalo hot sauce and re-roasted them.

We’ve had good burgers there before but the wings we recently had were awful and inedible. Unfortunately there are so many options out there, we won’t be back.

I love barbecue nation! Lettuce was super fresh and veggie patty was very crunchy in the veggie burger. The garden salad was yummy in the veggie wrap.

When i was growing up, i recall watching National Geographic with my father. Despite not exactly being an animal person, footage of how animals in the wild look after their own and satisfy their hungerpangs wasn’t boring. Alligators and Crocodiles were a cause of particular fascination. Live in the area and was looking forward to a good burger. Didn't find it here. <br/>Ordered turkey bacon burger and fries to go. <br/>The pattie was about the size of a McDonald's burger (thin) and not fresh Frozen burger patties. Thin piece of lettuce, small slice of tomato and barely any bbq sauce plus there was no bacon. <br/>The weight was around 15-20 mins. <br/>I will say the fries were good. <br/>I would not recommend. <br/><br/>

Great Place for meat lovers. I just love the food and the hospitality. great work guys keep it up. Only place preferred  to eat!!!! Cajun chicken is my favorite.

Very cool selection of meats (crocodile, bison, kangaroo, etc.).  Burger patties are very small however (not at all like the professional photos on this page).  Service is friendly but our server was very inexperienced and made many mistakes and couldn't answer several of our questions about the food.  Our food also came out at drastically different times and the sides were served after we had eaten our burgers (about 15-20 minutes after the burgers were served).  The sides come from Costco which is fine, but a little disappointing considering the exotic meats they are paired with.

Huge surprise! Doesn't look like anything special when you walk in and the Cajan sandwich I ordered looks simple. First bite...absolutely blew me away. FABULOUS!!!

The food was good. I had the chicken burger with a Caribean Jerk rub/sauce. It was good, good flavour. There is a minor pit fall, the hours on here are wrong. They close a bit earlier the posted here. Just a minor thing like I said. But good food and good eats

Went to BBQ Nation for lunch, tried the kangaroo wrap with chicken garden salad, my girlfriend had the 1/4 chicken with rice. They introduced this new flavor called tropical spice, which is sweet and spicy. Will be trying the bison wrap next time.

We do rental management in the area & love this place.. They offer  a wide variety of healthy foods with a great atmosphere. Nothing comes close to this place in the newton area.

Nice to see they added some game burgers to the menu. I had an ostrich burger and sweet potato fries. I'll likely go back to try some other new menu items.

needs help, chicken was dry, wings were good but skinny, coleslaw and potato salad were very good, high delivery charge, would reorder the sides but maybe not the chicken

Friendly service and yummy food. The chicken on the drier side (wished it came with side sauce to put more on the chicken), but the sides we had (Coleslaw, fries & rice) were good! Fries are like BK fries but better, coleslaw was on the saucier side but very yummy, the taste of the rice is comparable to Portuguese restaurants rice like Nandos or Barcelos!

Chicken did not hit the mark appearance or taste wise (a bit stale). Wings and other side dishes (fries, spicy wedges, rice) were good. Friendly service. Might come back for more wings take out. <br/>UPDATE: The Tandoori flamed grilled chicken is good and comes with amazing grilled veggies. The other flavors i.e. Perri Perri don't come with such extras.

This place has a really cool vibe, great flavors to pick from & affordable prices. My husband is really excited he already placed a big superbowl order. The bbq flavour is great, wedges are amazing!!!

If you want to eat healthy, and have great customer service this is the place to be when you are in surrey. Try a different flavor every day of the week. Love the Caribbean Jerk. Keep up the great work:)

The girlfriend and I  figured we would give this place a try... 6:30 on a Thursday night and this joint was dead. We both ordered bacon cheddar burgers and was hoping to get mozza sticks and jalapeno poppers that are on the menu but was informed they did not have so instead I asked for onion rings which the did not have either , what a joke. I can honestly say I have had better burgers at fast food joints. I'm pretty sure the only reason the place has good reviews is cause it's the owner/staff writing it themselves.

The food is great. This restaurant is too cheap for the food that they are serving. And the best thing is... Wait for it... I can take out!!!!!! This is really convenient because I work at RBC and all my friends were tires of pita pit so this is something different and cheap!!!!! Keep it up guys and gals!!!! :)

Delicious!  This is place is a must try if you are looking for perfectly cooked chicken with flavour.  They have different levels of spice and if you ask for extra spicy – they know what you’re talking about!  A healthier alternative to other fast foods.  Great food and awesome service!  I left full and satisfied and will be back!

I travel to surrey a lot for work , was getting tired of the same old reheated Indian food. BBQ Nation was a pleasant surprise, awesome! I hope this place stays the same in years to come. Definitely would check this place out , great food , great prices and nice staff!
