PRO: Love their dedication to recycling. Happy they don’t offer samples, it’s just a waste of plastic. Lots of flavours. CON: Portion sizes are small. Owners lack personality. It’s a shame they couldn’t be a little more friendly.

Prices are outrageous, probably since they're on a beach they'll always attract customers. This is forgivable if the food was decent but ...... 6 tiny chicken nuggets for $5. I admit they were tasty, but I've tasted this same nugget in multiple places. I'd rather go to Wendy's. $15 for 2 fish filets & chips seem okay, but the fish had a weird flavour to them. I don't think it was fresh. Frozen fries from the grocery store taste better than these. Like others said, there's a $0.15 fee for card payments.

Overpriced lacks adequate seating. No credit cards accepted. Charged a service fee for using interact. When I mentioned this politely to the owner. Owner suggested that as a customer I didn't understand the bigger picture. Unthinkable that for a $35 meal the business made us pay an additional fee for using interact. Bad customer service in my opinion. Items were missed in our order, when we asked them to make this right they acted like they were greatly inconvenienced. To be fair, the fish was tasty.

This place has the worst customer service. Tonight My husband and I wanted to get ice cream so we stopped at Red Baron Restaurant. When we arrived, there was 1 couple in front of us waiting for their order. My husband and I ordered 2 cones thinking there isn’t a line up so it should be couple of minutes. After the old man took our order he told us to wait on the right side where it says pick up order. After we ordered there were 3 kids that came to order their milkshakes, and then another family of 4, then another couple, then another group of kids. There was a line up starting to form at this point. About 10 minutes go by this little old lady that works there comes to the counter with milkshakes that the kids ordered right after us and hands it to them. Now it has been more than 10 minutes still waiting for our two cones. Why are we still waiting for that long for just 2 cones? The old lady comes back with another milkshake to give to another customer who ordered after us. I asked the old lady how long will it take for order number 32? She responds by saying the man is having his dinner. I repeated back what she had said. She’s like it’s ok and mumbled something and walked away by that time there was already 12 or 13 people lined up waiting to get their ice cream. And now it’s been over 15 minutes waiting for our cones. So we decided not to get the ice cream anymore and get a refund. So my husband goes to the older man who first took our order that he wants a refund on order number 32. The old man responds by saying you guys are doing whatever around here and have no patience. He was getting mad at us. I then said to the old man that we have waited 20 minutes for 2 cones. He kept saying something and mumbling behind the glass window. There was a family there who was waiting for 10 minutes and they were getting upset too. Finally he refunded our money, and was making us feel like we did something wrong. That old man, and old lady need to go! They are terrible, rude, and has zero customer service skills. I will never go back there. Definitely don’t recommend this place! You guys deserve a 0 not even a 1 star.

Pretty disgusting icecream, fake flavours and basically just heavy cream. Overpriced too, save your money.

First time taking the kids to Crescent Beach & we decided to buy them ice cream. Our boys have peanut allergies so we asked the cashier if they can wash the spoon before scooping. The elder cashier snapped at my wife saying we should not be feeding them ice cream if they're allergic to peanuts. We understand the risk but all we ask is to wash the spoon. Thanks for the life lesson but we have been to many ice cream stores in the last 11 yrs with the kids and never have we been declined service or been told not to give ice cream to our kids. Word of advice - Customer Service is very important!!

This is near the south side of Crescent Beach. I came here for a quick ice cream fix after walking along the beach. They have huge selection of ice cream and gelato to choose from. I tried “Shark Bite” flavor which is blue raspberry and shark grey vanilla ice cream with a red raspberry ribbon. It was good. You can't mess up on pre-made ice cream.

Crap. Crap and crap. Never ever coming here again. Service was terrible, the people who run it look like they hate their lives and the food was NOT good.

Crap service. Crap food. Take your money elsewhere! Martino's down the street is waaaay better!

Really, really bad. This is absolutely the worst fish and chip place I have ever tried in the Vancouver area. The fish pieces were really tiny. Both the fish and the chips were frozen not fresh. The oil the fish and chips were fried in was old and left a bad flavor to the meal, maybe it was even rancid. Never, never will I go here again and you shouldn't either.

Red Baron. 50+ flavors to choose from. $3.25 for single scoop<br/>not the best ice cream but reasonably priced with decent portions.

Great Ice cream selection, typical beach prices, decent service but lots of signs about what they won't do (Contemptuos of customers) and no credit cards under $5.00 and no American credit cards. But..... Great Ice Cream selection.

Ice cream by the beach. What's not to like? A little on the pricey side though.

Located just down the road from Sunflower Cafe on Beecher Street, this Crescent Beach ice cream parlor offers a plethora of ice cream flavors to indulge in and it's an excellent respite from a hot sunny day. Red Baron's a family run place, big on volume and is always very busy, especially during the summer months. Scoops are on the small side ($3.00 for one scoop), but you can't beat its perfect location right on the beach, and with so many varieties to choose from, you're bound to find your favorite ice cream flavor. (We enjoyed their mocha and strawberry cheesecake, pictured below). Red Baron's a good bet if you're parched from all your outdoor activities, or if you're craving a sweet treat on Crescent Beach. FYI: They will not accept c
