Review A&w Restaurant - Surrey

Highly disappointed considering I actually like this brand. Ordered their sweet potato fries which I usually order everytime I go to any of their restaurant. Went to the scottroad/120th location on Sunday afternoon ordered it and it came less than half full. Just annoyed because I had to wait for them to make it and then they give it not even half full. What a waste of time and money.

Bought two burgers and asked at order window to make it fresh and hot. But we got cold burgers and re heated patties. A&W is known for their best burgers but from this location it’s totally opposite. I had to throw in bin after one bite.

Worse one in Surrey . 20 min to get 2 poorly done buddy burgers in the drive thru. Staff doesn't care. Cook doesn't care. Pathetic service. Non apologetic. Don't waste your money here. Food isn't fit for consumption. They just give garbage and expect you to eat it like we're a bunch of idiots. This is not the proper a&w experience you pay for and expect. There should be more franchise control on this type of operation. Definitely not like what they show on ads. I think the owner keeps the place understaffed on purpose. And those that are there hate there job. Same girl was working drive thru and counter and constantly running orders outside to people still waiting in cars outside. Of course no napkins in my bag .

Poor service. One person was working the till and getting orders ready for both the walk ins and drive thru. 2 employees were there and did not help in any manner. One was on her "break" while the dinner rush hit at 6, and the other employee was "cleaning tables" ... same table for over ten minutes! This place really needs new employees!!! Its been going down hill for the last 6 months. I hope the owner of this joint reads this!

The food is good if you don't watch how they serve it. I went in to order and the female manager got my order together. She would grab a burger then stick her two thumbs into it to see what was inside. Then she would do the same thing to the next until she had them packed into the bag. she would go do something then come back and stick her thumbs in every single one of the burgers again to check it I assume. I don't know but after she took money from someone in the drive through then went back to my burgers and stuck her thumbs in each one AGAIN I told her I am not taking those because she didn't wash her hands after taking the money then sticking her thumbs in my burgers, each one. Then this couple came up to me and said 'She did the same thing to us'.... disgusting. I love A&W but will not be coming back to this location again.

Food was hot, that was abt the only compliment. Staff were not sure of items on the menu and did not punch in my order correctly. I not only had to wait 10 mins to get the order but they also did not bring food to the table despite the restaurant being dead. I had to go up and bring in my order, the chicken strips were dry and over cooked. I doubt I will frequent this location again. Extremely poor customer service.

Beef was off in the burger, sour smell and green tint. First time in my life I've thrown a burger away. Staff didnt really seam to care that they were serving food that was bad. My wife also didnt drink her ice tea which is an almost impossible thing to be inconsistent?

Being going to A&W for years. They tried to over charge me for a burger combo by adding an extra dollar to each combo for no reason today. The girl wouldn't even look up at the menu to see I was being overcharged. Just said " its how the system does it" i wasnt paying $40 for 3 teen combos so I cancelled my order. She didnt even double check to see if it was wrong. My kids were extremely hungry and upset but I just couldnt over pay for their error. So we went else where. Check your bills!!!
